Used this company shortly before the Pandemic and was very pleased and impressed with their service. So we asked them to come back for routine gutter cleanup and an inspection for leak prevention, as they advertised as one of their expertise. This time, we are greatly disappointed; they did nothing with the gutters, leaving nails popping out, but told me I had a problem with part of the roof, but no definitive scope of work. Then someone claimed to be a representative called to talk about "roof work", including replacing all of my skylights. When asking for an estimate, it was refused and the person just kept reiterating the same phrase, "you have an expensive home". That didn't sit well, so I chose to end the conversation and definitely end the relationship. SAD! read more

Shady sales tactics. I did not use their services to perform re-roofing my home because their sales guy - Mark, I think that was his name, was condescending and patronizing. DD needs to know that this salesman is doing him an injustice. Go with another company who doesn't have salesmen where 1/4% of the cost you pay goes straight into his commission pocket. read more

Just a few years ago, we hired Double D to remove all of the old bright yellow siding (40 years old) and remove both layers of old roofing. The goal was to replace the roof and figure out the best options for us regarding the siding. The owner came out, met with us, presented options and associated costs quite clearly. Ultimately, we choose a lovely shade of sage green siding and a gray roof. We could not be happier. The employees were polite and efficient. The work was done in a timely manner (less than two weeks) and still looks great. We had zero problems with Double D. I plan on using them again to update a section of the siding that had previously been covered by a back deck. IMPORTANT NOTE: My neighbors replaced their siding with another company even though we advised them that Double D's pricing was spot on and extremely professional, with attention to detail. Five months after their siding was installed, huge swaths of siding fell off! And their contractor was no where to be found. That's when they asked for Double D! So if you are going to go that route ask questions on what exactly they need. Also when they found issues they let me know before they fixed since it would be additional. Double D sent two men to our home to find out how water was leaking from the HVAC vent in our dining room whenever it rained. After about five minutes they had the answer and explained what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. Another crew came the following week and was able to repair the problem area. They had to remove the siding, rotted plywood and insulation. After replacing the plywood and insulation they reinstalled the siding and repaired a section of the house where the garage roof meets the siding. Their pricing was more than fair, and we could not be happier with their work and business ethics. We would definitely use them again if need and would highly recommend them. read more

Double D fixed an ongoing issue with a chipmunk eating wood around my garage door frame and the chipmunk has since moved away as a result of the wood being replaced by a non-chewable panel! The work was a unique fix (that looks like the other frame) at a reasonable price, and done in a timely and professional manner. We had them in over the summer / fall of 2016 to replace our roof, put on new gutters, and replace cedar shingles on 2 sides of the house. Getting the quotes, scheduling and picking roofing materials, shingles and stain colors all went smoothly. All the crews that worked on our house were fantastic. They did quality work, on time and on budget. Our property was protected and cleaned up after each crew completed its work. We wound up with a slight leak from the roof a few months after installation and DD worked with us to pinpoint the cause. They fixed the issue, repaired the small spot impacted on our kitchen ceiling, and painted the area. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for - DD does quality work and stands behind it. I will definitely use them for future projects and I recommend them highly. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I needed emergency work done to the exterior of my house...they came the day after I called (only positive). They did half of the job they were supposed to do. When I called the office to complain I was told I was lucky they even came and should be grateful. Workers came the next day to finish the job - they showed up shirtless and with a major attitude. The moment they got out of the van they started YELLING at me and asked me why I called the office to complain. They were rude, completely unprofessional, and did a half-ass job the second day. I was also told (or rather yelled at) by the workers that I should be happy they even came back. Before the workers showed up on the 2nd day I had already received an invoice via email for the entire job. After 2 weeks I started receiving nasty phone calls about payment even after I told the owner that I would definitely pay AFTER things were settled with my insurance company.
