Backstory: My family and I planned a trip last summer to Vietnam and we needed to get our visas. We initially went to Universal Travel on 47th Ave. One of the agents that helped us told us that it would be $125 for a one month visa for Vietnam. My fiancé was skeptical because he said that it shouldn't be that expensive. While we were filling everything out, my fiancé called and asked her how much she usually pays for visas and she said that we were getting ripped off. Once we found out, we left and called around different agencies. We remembered there was a travel agency in the same plaza as Firehouse, where we eat occasionally, and decided to check it out. We went in and the couple were very welcoming and helpful. They only charge $80 for a one month visa! That's a $45 difference compared to the other place. I also went back there today for a one year visa which costs $215. Super cheap. Definitely go to Pacific Travel & Tours for your visas! P.S. Visas usually take about a week.

Trips are supposed to be relaxing!! NOT extra work for yourself. I've been travel throughout California and Chyra (she's the travel agent I was in contact with) helped me A LOT. She was able to help me plan a great trip to San Diego and really did help with getting me the best prices for places to stay at as well as choosing a location where there's lots of fun things to do and great places to eat at. She's very friendly and she's good at what she does! She also does event planning, I might have to use her for my kid's graduation party! I just have to say...Tanya is fabulous and really pulled through for us in many ways! First, she found my boyfriend and me an unbeatable package deal on airline tickets, hotel reservations and a rental car for my nephew's wedding in New York....a deal we could never have found by ourselves had we tried. When we arrived at the rental car company in New York, we experienced an issue (not Tanya's fault) that was going to cost us a few hundred dollars. We felt helpless and in an unfair situation with the rental car company who wanted to impose these fees on us. We immediately called Tanya and she dropped what she was doing to help us resolve the issue...once again, something we never could have done on our own. Tanya went above and beyond for us. I was also super excited to support a Black woman who is from the same town as my family. Now, 2 years later, after paying in full, before the deadline for a tour titled "Afro Future 2025", I am learning she is fraudulently misleading people by not actually including the full Afro Future Festival. She is pocketing the money SHE is saving by not attending the full festival, and is claiming she did not misrepresent the tour. This is the only tour I have found that uses "Afro Future Festival" in the name that does not include the full festival. Her earliest emails (when I committed to the tour) mentioned the following (from May 8th 2025): NOTE: Please note that the dates for AfroFuture are subject to change. We will notify you of any updates as soon as they are confirmed. The note made me comfortable booking the tour before dates were released as it made it seem the tour would work around the dates so we would be guaranteed to attend. On sept, 4th she sent an email including the following: AfroFuture Festival (Accra) For anyone interested in attending the AfroFuture Festival, this annual event in Accra celebrates African and diasporic culture through music, art, and fashion. I will be requesting VIP tickets for those who confirm interest. Please note: ticket pricing has not yet been released--I will share details as soon as they are available. Learn more here: AfroFuture Festival Then, in October I come to find out her tour is only attending 1 of the 2 days of the festival, she has chosen a cheaper city to visit on the 2nd day, and is now asking for an additional $995 (not including the cost of the festival) to accommodate attendance (after several back and forth emails explaining how misleading her landing spot vs. advertisement is). She says that her itinerary has been finalized since last year, and none of this is misleading. This woman is not trustworthy and has completely misled me and the rest of the tour group. Work with her AT YOUR OWN RISK. He communication is not professional and now she has stooped to the level of fraud to pocket additional money. BEWARE.
