On our way to the Sacramento Airport for a Disney Cruise to Alaska, we learned that the car carrying our children and two young grandchildren had been rear ended and totaled. They were stranded on the freeway, shaken, and unable to get to the airport. After dropping us off at the airport, Moe didn't hesitate. He immediately left the terminal, drove straight to the accident scene, gathered our family, and got them safely back to the airport -- delivering them to the gate just in time to make our flight. The driver was outside our house at 7:45 a.m. and texted me at 8 a.m. We rushed to finish packing and were on our way at 8:10 a.m. I guess looking at us, he decided that we'd appreciate oldies music. We chuckled to ourselves but didn't ask him to turn it off. When some of the songs went on repeat we laughed internally again. We got to the airport at 9:30 a.m. A bit early, in fact two hours before the check-in counter opened. For our return ride, we got sent a message when the plane touched down. We didn't know how long it would all take before we had our luggage and could leave, but the driver was nearby and would be ready when we were. He sent a picture of the vehicle. Both vehicles were Toyota minivans, very roomy and comfortable. We will be comfortable using Sunrise Shuttle if we need to get to SFO again.

The real gem was Randy himself. Coming back to Sac the train kept changing its arrival time. I had to continually text Randy that the train would not arrive at midnight as scheduled. It changed a number of times. I texted each time I found out the train arrival would be later, then later, then later. Randy told me that he would wait up and make sure we were picked up and taken to the Kimpton, NO worries. The thing is, we couldn't schedule an Uber for pickup/drop because it was a low fare from Amtrak station to Kimpton and no Uber would take us. Randy didn't care. He cared about us.
