Tim called to tell me my brakes were "shot" and the drums were "all scored up", and that I needed all new assemblies to the tune of $900. I declined and picked up the trailer. Took it to a certified auto mechanic neighbor around the corner who repaired it in his driveway. I walked over and saw. My brake shoes and drums were in great shape; the problem was, wires running to the magnets had broken on 3 of the 4 wheels. Wiring fixed and bearings repacked cost me $260. I had gotten brakes and even a new axle from Hitch It in the past, but I no longer trust them.

I went home right away and sent a message on their website, saying how disappointed I was. I had an answer less than an hour later from the owner "I am so sorry for what happened, I was gone for a month, what can I do to make it right!" The Mechanic implied the lawn mower equipment was used with out an air filter from the previous season which was installed by Tractor Supply.
