They love citing homeowners for having brown grass in the summer but won't do anything to resolve issues that fall on them. They sat on an issue in our neighborhood and didn't do anything until I sent them a letter citing the rules and Texas law that showed they had to act on the problem. I enjoy working with Raymon, he is very responsive. CKM is providing bundled water, sewer, trash pick-up, landscaping, and HOA management to our new David Weekley Homes "Retreat at Oak Park" community for a price which is much less than the same bundle of services which I had to buy separately from a (1) MUD, (2) trash company, (3) independent lawn mower, and (4) HOA. Our neighborhood just switched companies to CKM Property Mngmnt and I can't even get a call returned from Angela in order to receive a code to create a new account on our new portal. If she won't return my messages... and I can't create an account without the code number... how am I supposed to pay my annual dues? Let me guess... I'll get a call back AFTER they're due... expecting full payment as well as a late fee. I think not! read more

This Management company is contracted by our HOA and provides poor service. The neighborhood representative Cassidy is uncourteous towards homeowners and often never responds to emails. The president owner and vice-president spouse are equally as rude towards homeowners; they show no respect or value when dealing with us homeowners. Seems to have forgotten the very customers they serve and whose dues actually pays them. CKM is the management company for our community and I wish I had something nice to say about them. As of right now, I can not do that. I am hoping that Bruce the owner of this company will listen to the homeowners and start to follow the wishes of our community, but when an employee of his and our current representative called the sheriff's department on the homeowners after our HOA meeting was suddenly adjourned there are a few very serious problems with this company. First, why would this employee care if homeowners stayed to visit and discuss issues together? The second and more egregious issue is why pull deputies away from potentially real life and death issues over a peaceful group of homeowners discussing grievances with each other and making it seem that she was in danger. At least 9 deputies showed up, thinking we were an unruly mob, only to find out we were not. Who does that? Why do that? What are they trying to hide? So many questions that need answers. Hopefully, the owner will listen to reason and make some very necessary changes to his office staff. read more

Honestly one of the worst HOA I have dealt with. Received a letter in the mail about an unapproved shed in my backyard that we've had since the neighborhood has been built. Only became an issue when they built a trail behind our house. Contacted Jennifer Zinnante with the application and how to proceed and what is needed. All she could give me was "the application was incomplete and to look at the guidelines." I asked for further help because I was unsure what was missing and to let me know so that I may complete it. Instead I got no response and a certified letter in the mail. Resent another email to her and I doubt I'll get an actually answer from her. This is probably why everyone is moving out of the neighborhood because of HOA. These are hard Covid-19 times and they seem to not care. She needs to be fired and actually hire someone who can actually help the people of the neighborhood instead of sitting on their high horse thinking they're better than the people who live in this neighborhood. This HOA has been a nightmare since we moved in. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Been in my home for 14 years, and getting help from CKM is like pulling teeth. CKM doesn't answer emails or phone calls when we need help on something - we don't even get any acknowledgment when we submit an application for something. But my roofer put a sign down (while he was doing the roof) and CKM emailed us that afternoon telling us we were going to be fined. I have another HOA fine letter in my hand right now. Doesn't say what for. How lazy are you, that you can't even put the WHY on the letter. Extremely disappointed in CKM's customer service. read more

As a homeowner and a former board member I can say CKM operates both professionally with board members as well as property owners. Holding a position on a board is extremely eye opening. I have found that the majority of people that complain on social media are the main offenders or past due account holders. Even since being off the board I have had no issues in reaching Linda, Diana, or Jennifer if I had a question about a letter, invoice, or information in general. I have served on other boards and found that CKM offers a more personalized approach to the industry. read more

Unfortunately, my association just hired CKM to manage our community....assuming to save money. So far, very disappointed in their services. They seem to be here to harass and intimidate instead of manage and only interested in collecting fees for minor offenses. Hopefully we see them direct their attention to matters that need their attention and stop chasing fees for minor offenses. Got 3 notices in the mail ON THE SAME DAY....a 1st notice to clean my fence, a 2nd notice repeating the 1st notice and a certified letter for the same thing (with fees attached) with an inspection date of just 2 weeks earlier.
