Deanna called me up within 5 minutes and started the check in process, only to learn that Aetna not only sent me to the wrong Urgent Care, they also had given me the wrong insurance card! Deanna could have easily sent me on my way, but she went the extra mile (and for those of you that don't know, it's never crowded) and located my provider and the correct urgent care facility. So kudos to you Deanna you are definitely a shining star!

I get to the clinic at 6:18 PM and saw a sign to ring the doorbell. So I gave it a rang and sat down patiently awaiting 6:30 PM for my appointment. Around 6:26 PM the nurse comes out and is stunned to see me waiting. Immediately, she questions me and asks how long was I waiting and if I rang the doorbell. I let her know I thought I did upon arrival (even though my scheduled appointment should've let her know). She then let's me know she has already cleaned up for the day? I try to let know I booked the appointment online for a TB test, and she goes in the back for a few seconds. She proceeds to ask me if I can come back as it's a time sensitive test. Given the nature of the test I have to either come back Saturday or Sunday. I understand.... however, why have such times listed on the booking portal if you can't read the test within a reasonable time? To my understanding, the TB test has to be read within a 48-72 hours from the test given. That would land me anytime before 6:30 PM Sunday, and I was able to come before closing on Sunday to get it read.. Left quite vexed after not being heard nor with the TB skin test. Long story short, I had an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience here at Target Clinic. One would assume, if a time is listed on an appointment booking platform, the service listed can be administered. Not in this case. Even if the nurse concluded she personally would not be able to give the test, I could've been notified before my appointment time, and before I drove out to the clinic. Disappointed is the least I can say. The nurse on duty had a poor attitude. It could've been chalked up to a misunderstanding, but she carried such a LACK of professionalism and sensitivity. Please go somewhere else if you are looking for patient care!

X rays on the premises. I was rear ended in a car accident. I was rocked. My back, neck and right shoulder were jacked up. I went to a hospital ER in the area and it was slammed. So I went on our good ol' Yelp and found this wonderful urgent care. Everything about this experience - the first phone call with Gabrielle, her care, concern and professionalism; her being on the ball and so efficient( btw she is a US Navy Veteran)- this set the tone for a great and calming visit. Dr Cho was incredible. Very personable, cool, related to me and was just so very thorough as he covered every possible avenue and took his time treating me, testing my reflexes and my areas of concern. He was very thorough. He showed me and detailed all of my x rays. The office was immaculate. Clean and very well organized. There were complimentary mini water bottles and some snacks for the patients. Great medical establishment.

After taking this and staying away from the gym for 6 days, there was ZERO improvement. The medicine wasn't doing a thing for me. So i called them to see if they could switch up my muscle relaxant and they said I'd have to come in again. WHAT! I was literally just there for the same exact problem and you want me to return?!? They just want another reason to bill my insurance, as if my first copay wasn't high enough. My advice- if you can wait for your primary doc- WAIT! OR find an urgent care where they really want to help and not just collect on insurance.

My experience felt like the doctor's role was simply to write a prescription rather than actually evaluate my condition or discuss treatment options. When I asked questions and was looking for medical guidance, I didn't receive any meaningful explanation, opinion, or advice on what might actually help me recover. The billing experience was just as off-putting. I paid cash because I don't have insurance, and I felt like I was treated with suspicion because of it. Before I ever received any treatment, I was asked to pay multiple times and had a credit card terminal put in front of me at least three separate times. Instead of the typical process of receiving a bill or paying at the end of the visit, the focus seemed to be on collecting payment before providing care. If all you need is someone to write a prescription, this place may meet your needs. But if you're looking for a physician who takes the time to evaluate your condition, explain their reasoning, and provide thoughtful medical guidance, I'd recommend going somewhere else. They have a pretty spacious waiting area and there hasn't been a lot of people in it at once. Receptionist was nice, and helped attend me. Staff seem like they do more than one job at once and staff meant for one role, play another. If they seem busy it's because of that. I appreciate the MA that took my vitals and drew my blood. She seemed like was very busy but still was patient with me. The NP that saw me listened and gave me a plan of treatment. Wait time was okay but like I mentioned, seems like staff are doing different jobs at once.

He is very honest as well as I can see from his practice of prescribing medicine to children. He does not simply prescribe anything unnecessary. Often times he does not prescribe anything at all to let my child recover naturally as long as she is not experiencing any complications. He also responds to my questions over the phone fairly quickly. I really appreciate that. I also enjoy the customer service of the office staff. It is very easy to reach them by phone. Same-day appointments with Dr. Chong is easy to arrange. Clinic is clean and newly remodeled. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend.
