She listened to all of my concerns, gave me suggestions and orders for preventive testing that were becoming due! I never felt rushed but genuinely cared for! I am beyond disappointed. I have PPO insurance and I have never had a front desk employee tell me I need to find out myself if my insurance can be taken at a doctor's office. I switched doctors because I heard how attentive Rancho Wellness is when you needed something. I called them to see if I could get a prescription before leaving town for a cold and flu I was coming down with. They said they could not see me for at least two days and said I should go to the urgent care. I tood them I wasn't leaving for 2 days and a virtual appointment is ok if they can't see me in the office. They still said they can't see me. Makes me second guessing switching doctors. I'm glad I chose Rancho Wellness as my new Primary Physicians . My first visit was in their Upland location as they were able to squeeze me in there . I saw Heidi who was fabulous and very thorough and professional . She answered all my questions without rushing through the visit. My second visit was in the Rancho office I called in the morning requesting an appointment that day and they were able to accommodate with Barbara PA-C . The wait time was very short ! She was amazing . Explained everything showed me diagrams with great explanations demonstrated exercises I could do for a particular pain . She was kind and caring and also never rushed me . In addition I was sent over to X-ray at San Antonio Medical facility which was equally as outstanding . I couldn't have asked for better care ! Highly recommend this group . read more

She's extremely consistent with her plan for your health needs,assuring your insurance company approved the needed medical essentialls from treatments to medications. It's hard to see an actual doctor now. Just PAs. You won't get to a room until over an hour after your appointment time, even when the waiting room is empty. They lost their personal approach. Dr. Singh used to be amazing. read more

I've been with Rancho Wellness for years. Heidi was my primary care provider. I reached out in severe pain and explained I left urgent care due to having severe abdominal pain and I'm in between the process of seeing specialist and getting imaging done to get to the bottom of whats going on and explained I had cyst on my ovary. Which was also causing immense pain during my menstrual cycle. I got a call back from the receptionist saying Heidi wouldn't prescribe anything outside of an Tylenol or ibuprofen which I was already taking 800-1000mg of. It was very careless and incredibly disappointing especially being with Heidi for years and her being fully aware of my situation of past miscarriages. I was shown no compassion at all. I ended up in the ER and had to pay for that on top of urgent care visit all due to lack of care from my primary doctor and of this establishment. This practice is OK. Not amazing. Not terrible. Just OK. I've been several times now, as has my husband. We have never met the doctor; only the PA (Barbara Santa Cruz). She can be impatient and can come off rude. She doesn't want to take the time to listen or answer questions. This is based off at least 3 visits. The last time she kept standing up to walk out, while I was still trying to ask additional questions. Remember - she is a PA NOT a doctor. Yet the doctor's signature was on some of my forms (although I suspect the doctor doesn't even know us as new patients even exist). The furniture is a bit worn but whatever. The waiting room is spacious in case you are wondering about social distancing or room for wheelchairs. I intentionally have a PPO so I don't need to be held hostage for referrals. read more

Let me start off by saying this negative review has nothing to do with the doctors or the treatment by them. This has everything to do with their new scheduling policy. Been coming here for years without any problems (or missed appointments) Called to schedule a yearly check up to be told they charge 25 dollars just to book an appointment. The 25 dollars is refunded or put towards your copay. But why should I be out my money for several months due to you not being able to schedule me sooner. If no shows are a problem. Charge the people not showing up, instead of every patient you have getting punished for this behavior. read more

But, their website shows "Same-day and next-day appointments often available" And, she said I must pay $25 copay when I made appointment on the phone. Barbara Santa Cruz is by far the most unprofessional doctor I've ever seen. Condescending, rude, and spoke to me with a feeling of patronizing superiority. Zero compassion. She also insisted on prescribing me antidepressants despite the fact that I came in to see her about something completely unrelated and never discussed any desire to be put on them. I mentioned a possible issue I was having with my kidney and she immediately brushed it off saying it was just back pain. Instead of focusing on my concerns, she said whatever was convenient and would quickly get me out of her office. I'm only giving this place one star because I have to in order to leave a review. I'm a new patient at this practice and as everyone says Dr Singh is great, knowledgeable and caring, both my husband and I are very happy about the service. But, I have to say Dr Barbara is incredible, she is by far the best best doctor I have seen in my life. I have lingering cough for the past 5 month and I have been taking allergy medication resulting in dry throat. Dr Barbara suspected of Asthma and tested me for it and prescribed Asthma medication for me. Right away my cough stopped, and no more dry throat, no need to take any allergy medication anymore AND ALSO it resolved a problem I have been suffering for the past 6 years. For unknown reasons I have mucus in my throat and I have tried many medications, saw specialist many times, changed diet, no eating after 6pm... finally gave up looking for solutions and voila the asthma medication cleared my throat. I couldn't believe it, I'm finally able to sleep at night without the feeling of drowning in my own saliva and avoiding pizza and all milk products. I'm looking forward for my follow up visit to check if I should continue with the Asthma medication. Anyway, I'm so grateful she tested me for Asthma. I always cough for many month after a flu and no doctor ever tested me for Asthma before. I'm so so grateful and so so happy I got to see her on my visit. read more

First, I truly wanted to like this place, mainly for the location was close to home, nice atmosphere, insurance biller was pretty good, so I brought the whole clan. They were good with my teens. But, I had some trouble with their doctors and PAs competence. My husband was first to notice my degree of drowsiness went from occasional to taking short naps at my gym's parking lot right after work, when he checked on me. I literally needed extra sleep on shopping trips. After $$$$ spent on diagnostics, several medical exams and interpretations leading to "wait and see approach" that obviously didn't work, I felt like my care was going in circles. Hearing that my diet was only to blame for the high calcium levels for years, and my condition was getting worse, I took matters into my own hands and googled high PTH came up parathyroid issues. Certain diagnostics incl. a certain blood test, led me to question why wasn't it ordered. who knows. But UCLA had a specialist right away who diagnosed me and saw my tumor without a scan and wondered how docs missed It. Fast forward, my husband took me in for my surgery. I call today because I'm actually sick and she puts me on hold and comes back and says sorry we're booked for the week and we don't see sick patients in person. Then they wanna try this virtual appt and make you wait a hour and no one even answers and then when they do they say oh ya no problem let me prescribe you something for that. Dr. Singh has excellent bedside manners and never rushes you. His office takes a thorough questionnaire of their patients in order to treat you as a whole person rather than simply prescribing meds right away. I did a blood test, titer test, TB skin test, EKG and physical and Dr. Singh and his staff were professional and kind throughout my visits. The blood test is through Quest Diagnostic. You do sign papers saying if you do not receive your results then you will be responsible in getting in touch with the office, so I'm not understanding other reviews who are complaining about that. Both offices in Rancho and Upland are clean and well equipped. I haven't had to wait longer than ten minutes from my appointment time to be seen. They're online so you can fill out your forms beforehand and access your medical files through their web portal. Appointments are easy to set up. Most insurance plans are accepted. I was diagnosed being pre-diabetic and lacking vitamin D so I have made dietary changes along with taking vitamin D supplements and will see the Dr. again in a few months. I hope to see Dr. Singh as my family's primary for a long time to come. He is a younger doctor than my previous primary physician. I will definitely be referring him to others. read more

If I can give Dr. Sing 20 Stars I would give. I have never seen a Doctor so caring and want the best for his patients. The way he treats me and my mom is like we are part of his family. He is treating my mom with her chronic Migraines and is extremely patient with her. I never have any issues with reception staff or the nurses, they are all very nice and even got my mom in when they were super busy. The waits are not bad as well. The online portal is so easy and convincing to use. All the staff are very patient in answering questions and most of the times will answer my question over the phone instead of bringing me in. Dr Sing has become our family doctor and I'm forever grateful for his service. Doctors like him are rare these days and need to be appreciated. He wants to do his best for the comfort of his patients and he treats them like humans not as clients for money. I've never wrote this long of a post but I'm just so grateful for him! I made an appointment for my mom to see Barbara Santa Cruz and it went great! She got along with my mom which was amazing lol. She was able very attentive and gave my mom some new medication that's been working. We also got her order for bloodwork done as well, the whole works, which she really needed. The entire office staff are all extremely nice and helpful. I've called about insurance that was brand new and they were on top of it, which made it easier for us.
