Nutty mic coffee is the stained Claddagh window hanging above the kitchen

Delicious coffee and pastries. The service was very friendly. Greeted when we walked up to the counter and they answered questions for us. The inside of the cafe has little touches of the claddagh all over. A stain glass window over the kitchen and other Irish sayings posted around the cafe. Would def come to work here if I lived around here. Come check it out if you're considering. Will def be worth your time.

Cute coffee shop. I just walked up to the counter and ordered a coffee, but a lot were dining in. The servers were attentive and quick. The miel is really good!! Just a note - they don't do sugar free syrups.

Stopped in yesterday while thrifting next door and I tried an Earl Grey tea latte (forgot the actual name of it) it was delicious and the barista was so warm, social and patient with me while I contemplated what I had a taste for.

Came here for a second coffee because I wanted to try a Claddagh with Irish cream and dark chocolate and it was as delicious as it sounds. I loved that you can still taste the coffee and it wasn't overwhelmed with cream. The dark chocolate gave it a rich touch. I got both hot and cold and I liked the hot better - both were good but a personal preference as it's more flavorful and not as diluted with the ice. It's a pretty big cafe so a good place to chill.

    Chai downstairs in the basement.

Spectacular coffee shop in an old building oozing with charm and character. The top floor has lots of natural light and tons of artwork on the brick walls. We stopped in with a big group of kids and adults in the morning on Good Friday and it was crowded but we were able to find seats on the couches downstairs. Maybe it was because I'd been up since 3am, but the chai I had was one of the best I'd ever had, at least compared to where I'm from in NJ. The rest of our group all had a variety of smoothies, teas, coffees and scones. Such variety in the menu and all of it superb. I highly recommend this place if you're a fan of locally owned, slow paced coffee shops.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Saint Paul. Stop in for the scones, stay for the coffee drinks. Served with clotted creams and preserves upon request, their scones are among the best in the twin cities. They are actual scones, not just doughy blobs thrown in an oven. If you like real scones, stop here. They also serve up delicious coffee drinks- I especially like the hot Molly. but seriously, the scones alone are worth the stop

Can't remember the name of the latte but it had white chocolate and amaretto in it with a 24k gold leaf. It was so fun and sweet!

The people are always so nice and friendly! They've got the usual options you'd see but also some specialty options if you're feeling whimsical and want to try something new!

Loved this coffee shop theme and vibe! Everything was Irish themed from the cute knicknacks and drink names to the stained glass windows. I love how they had Irish blessings everywhere! I personally tried the dirty Seamus which is a dirty chai. Super tasty on a cold day.

    Just plain coffee :)

How have I never updated my review for this gem before? I will keep it short and sweet. The coffee? Phenomenal. Try the Dirty Seamus or Nutty Mick. The food? Also quite tasty. I keep meaning to take a picture of the breakfast sandwich but honestly eat it so fast I never remember. The service? Fantastic. The owner is such a great human being and you can tell that the place is run with care. The inside is extremely cute. I love the basement section that has darker lighting and couches if one so chooses. The upstairs features art by local artists which rotates pretty frequently. Seriously come here. I will continue driving out of my way to come to this one of a kind Saint Paul staple.

Great place to get a good coffee in a real coffee cup. Nice environment. The coffee could be a bit hotter.

The cafe was packed on a weekday morning. It's a good thing I was planning on taking a brewed out rather than hanging around. Hot fresh mellow brew and a wide selection of bakery, including hard to find biscotti. The crew was working quickly to keep the orders filled and no one at a table near the counter complained when I was crowded into them from someone rushing in front me..that's how packed it was. As some have mentioned don't expect curbside parking as you may have to walk a block or more from the side streets.

Better drink preparation on the part of the baristas, who are friendly and became familiar faces to me. There's something comforting about seeing the same people working everyday. I have great confidence in the knowledge and abilities of the current staff. Their espresso has a unique flavor that I love. They also have special monthly drinks that are fun to try if you get tired of ordering the same thing and need a little inspiration. Their bakery items are always fresh and delicious. I'm fairly positive everything is baked from scratch in-house. One of my favorites is their scones, which come with little containers of lemon curd, raspberry jam, and Devonshire cream for spreading. Their monster cookies are incredible. They also have Big "Mini" Donuts, which are downright sinful in the amount of pleasure they create in one's mouth. Apart from their great service, I was absolutely delighted by the fact that they have both recycling and compost receptacles available to customers. I believe their to-go cups, utensils, and cup sleeves are compostable, and their cup-lids recyclable. These things matter to me, and I'm glad it matters to them too! They keep dog treats on hand for customers who come with their pooches, and they keep a water dish outside during the warmer months. I love that! Oh, and they offer online ordering-ahead!
