Met a friend here for coffee and the staff was really kind. Plenty of seating and lots of street parking. I got the iced matcha latte with lavender and almond milk and it was perfect. The ham & cheese croissant was just okay. Overall great experience!

Here's a cheery place in N.E. Minneapolis in a building that used to be the prince of drab. The dining area has a wall of windows with high chairs and counter. The minimalist concept still comes off as a quiet yet welcoming place. Check the food choices with browned buttery croissants including what has to be the best Ham and Cheese Croissant in any coffee bar. We'll call it hip but not snubby hip, there is a warm and fuzzy feel from the moment of entry.

Such a cute coffee shop with a big and bright interior. Perfect to work remotely from. It was quiet while we were there. The barista was really nice and the Hamline latte with honey and lavender was delicious. Also loved that alternative milks were no upcharge! It's really tucked away in northeast but there's street parking out front.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! There is so much seating for studying, cool art everywhere, and the tables are actually comfy lol. The coffee is so so good. My go to is the Hamline(lavender and honey) or one of their many specials(the bluebird is so good). They also have the best danishes ever. Pricing is pretty good for the quality coffee you get. And the baristas are so nice! There has never been a time where they didn't start a genuine conversation with me and I love that.

Every drink I've ordered here was not good. Service was fine. The decor is cute. The side of the building has a gorgeous floral mural.

Very good coffee & breakfast burrito. Staff a bit slow but polite. The space is clean & white, also a gallery space.

this place is unlike any other coffee shop for all the right reasons…read more cheap prices? check neighbor hood vibe? double check cute and quirky? oh yes. they offer DOLLAR coffees. yes, you heard me right. keep in mind this is a small cafe, hence the name, so it's not really a spot where a lot of people can go at once to camp out and spend a bunch of time on their laptops etc, which is fine because there are plenty of other places for that. they have a small bar with a row of a few stools that is fun to sit at and puts you right next to the baristas as they move about keeping everything going. there's a "main table with a side table facing the window and street that has nice natural light on sunny days and would be a good nook to occupy for a spell. i got a can of kombucha, energy bar, and ice americano for $9, a price substantially less than i expected. i see why this place is an institution. i will be back, and encourage checking it out if nothing else for the experience. you may want to come back too!!

There's limited seating, so it's not really a place I camp out and work (but you could! I just don't!), but the cozy atmosphere makes it feel welcoming every time I stop in. I can't be more thankful that they have dedicated customer parking only spots right out front because I would have skipped altogether if I couldn't find parking. Love that they have an accessible ramp, a spacious patio with some outdoor seating, really spacious indoor seating and clean bathrooms. Staff was friendly and despite the constant stream of new customers they were so fast and efficient in getting everything out quickly. Coffee was good, the chocolate chip cookie by Marc Heu was a bit disappointing though (that's not a Dogwood issue though) it just a want chocolate chip cookie-ing. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and dedicated parking is a win in my book. Also love that they partner with Sweet Renaissance for special drinks for the month.

It was incredibly productive! There are essentially rows of hotelling stations with outlets in each for you to be able to connect and stay charged. I went here prior to getting my hair done across the street for a meeting…read more There is huge space that is set up perfectly for working from coffee shop, which i truly love and appreciated. I had a hard time selecting a place to sit since I wanted to sit in many of the places. The staff was amazing! I ordered a cortado for here, and it was perfect and gorgeous. I ended up spilling it all over the floor (totally my fault). I went up to order a new one (planning to pay because again..my fault!) and the staff refused to let me pay and even brought me my new drink to the table I was at. Talk about customer service! It was my fault I spilled it and they would not let me help clean it up or buy a new one. Consider me a fan of this place!

The interior design is stunning and the fireplace adds a cozy touch. It's always packed no matter the time of day, which shows how popular it is. Unfortunately, the coffee has been consistently disappointing for me. For such a great space, the drinks just don't match the atmosphere. Service has also been a letdown. It feels rushed and transactional, and the staff does not come across as very friendly or welcoming, which takes away from the experience. They do have a nice selection of baked goods, including Cardigan Donuts, which is a plus. Parking is typical for the North Loop. It can be a bit difficult to find right nearby, but there are plenty of options if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Overall, it's a gorgeous space and a great place to meet up or sit for a bit, but the coffee quality and service are what hold this location back for me which is sad because I love other FRGMT locations.
