I went to Claire's over the weekend to buy some earrings for my 5 y/o nieces birthday. It felt so nice to not be harassed in the process. Some stores have people follow you around and make you feel uncomfortable and harassed over sales. Not this one! Karina was so helpful in helping me find what I needed for my nieces birthday without making me feel uncomfortable. She even walked me through what earrings would be best for my nieces sensitive ears and talked to me a bit about options for getting her younger sisters ears pierced. and autumn, I think I got her name correct, but autumn was able to answer all of my questions and even provide examples to help me better understand the sale! With the great sales going on I came in for a pair of earrings and left with at least 7 items for such a good deal considering the normal price! My niece is going to be so excited! Great customer service! Overall I had a great experience at Claire's and can't wait to bring my niece to get her ears pierced with Karina! My only complaint is that they didn't have any cleansing wipes for my basket. People and kids can be very gross so I feel this should always be an option for customers especially during flu season. read more

I placed my order online and chose pick up in store rather then having it shipped so I would be sure to get my order in time. Three days later it's still "in process". According to customer service, contrary to the website saying your order will be ready in two hours, it may take a little longer..... so apparently waiting several days for your online order to be ready must be common practice. They really should state then when you place the order rather than saying it will be ready in two hours. I may have chose to have it shipped or gone to the store then when I knew the items were still in stock. She offered me the option of cancelling my order if I don't want/need the items. If I didn't want them, I would not have ordered them. Very poor customer service. read more

Went to get my nose pierced on Friday June 11,2022... my piercing would not stay in my nose because it wasn't all the way through. When I went back and called corporate on Tuesday June 14th they would not refund me or fix it they wanted me to repay for another piercing so I had to go elsewhere. I would NEVER spend another dime at Claire's ever again. Both women at the store and on the phone with corporate had nasty attitudes as well!!!! I would give them zero stars if I could!!! read more

As a child, I always bought jewelry from Claire's. I had gone in today to get my 6 year old ears pierced. She had her ears pierced as a baby, but they had closed. The staff member that was working today was Dominque, she already had pierced one of my daughter's ear. My daughter was upset and crying so me and my husband consoled her for a couple minutes. Many times I asked, Dominque to follow through with her second ear with my consent. My daughter kept on crying, I knew she was doing that so she wouldn't have to pierce her second ear and I had told the employee. In the meantime, Dominique end up having to use the restroom and she didn't even attempt to poke a second hole into my daughter's ear even after I had asked multiple times for her to follow through and at least give it a chance. Another employee came in and told me that since my child is crying and that my daughter may move, they can't pierce her second ear. I am sorry, if you have not even given a child a single chance to poke another hole into their other ear; how you are telling parents that you can't do this. They need to train their employees on how to handle children that might be crying like that. Anyways, They didn't pierce her other ear. I paid $58.98. I was told, I would get the second earing in the bag. I never got it because they forgot to give it to me. I have addressed my concerns with the assistant manager and will speak to the manager too. The Pediatrician informed me that they can't use the other earing. Now I will end up paying $60 there too. read more

I promised my niece that one her 10th birthday we would get her ears pierced. We arrived at Claire's in Crabtree Valley Mall on 4/5/18. We were not serviced right away because Dominque and another associate were playing around. Dominque was attempting to pierce this associate's ears. So we waited an excessive 30 mins for the associate to finally decide against the piercing. Instead of Dominque helping us right away she send over Melissa or Melinda the store manager, before she left we . The manager comes over to confirm which earrings we were purchasing, "Rainbow Crystal Flowers" my sister and I said yes. Prior to her coming over Dominque, per the manger's words, told her which earrings we wanted. Long story short we got to the register to pay and was charged nearly $80 for a $30 piercing. I let the manager know that this was incorrect and not what we asked for. She was so rude and disrespectful about the entire situation that other customers waiting began to speak up. I informed her that we were not leaving without paying for what we asked for, any mistakes between the miscommunication of she and Dominque were not ours to pay for. I was laughed at by this woman, who while checking me out, stated how she wanted to "GET OUTTA HERE AND GO HOME" I let her know that we wanted to go home too. We will not visit another Claire's. I was a customer in the store that day when this woman daughter was getting her ears pierced this woman lied, She tried to hold her daughter down to force her to get her ears pierced. Every time Dominique walked up to pierce her ear her daughter was jumping out of the seat and screaming making a big seen everybody seen it. So then when the other lady came to try to pierce her ear the little girl did the same thing. You can't force a child to get there ears pierced if there gonna jump around and act like that. read more
