We now nickname them the gang that can't manage straight. We have stayed at this hotel four times in the last 12 months since our last review and quality of furnishings continue to degrade. Our recent stay over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and six weeks prior to that revealed a broken elevator. It seems Krishna management can't find anyone to fix the elevator. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem for the short term part time traveler. But for those unexpected travel with more things to haul, this can become a big problem especially if you're elderly or handicapped do you think someone at HG would take a look at Krista management once in a while to make sure they're doing your job right but it's pretty clear there's a little oversight. The staff continues to be friendly and cordial but quality overall is lacking. During our previous stay, six weeks earlier, we couldn't get anyone to clean the room, and when they did, the work was incomplete and sloppy We no longer recommend this hotel. There's a Hampton Inn across the street in the same town. Is the only other alternative for a major chain or brand name Hotel.

When I talked to the general manager she had been gone for several days and had no knowledge of the events that had transpired. I checked in and went to my room which was freezing. I tried the thermostat, and it didn't work at all (neither did the phone in the room). I went down to the desk and the manager came up, saw that nothing was working, and went and got me a key to another room and an upgrade to a suite. The suite is the same as a regular with an added couch and coffee table. I had the breakfast, which was standard for a hotel breakfast with the additions of warm cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and sausage and gravy. The staff was very accomodating.

The bedsheets were bright white, smelled fresh and clean, the bathroom was spotless. I was very impressed! Oh, and there was NO roaches. The fridge and microwave was spic & span. Not a trace of dirt! I was very comfortable staying here with my family . When i called the front desk for more towels, they were delivered to me in less than 3 minutes. I asked for 2, and received 3. The sweet girl at the front desk (i think it was Tiffany or Amanda (sorry, i can't think of her name) personally delivered them to me herself (the date was 4/2/22 between 9am - 10am, and she deserves a raise. Her customer service was remarkable!) If you travel, you know how hard it is to get towels delivered to you in a timely fashion. This was huge to me! I give this hotel 5 stars. For about 10 years we stuck to airBnbs only, past year given the outr fees/taxes etc , we have started staying in hotels again (at least you get points/rewards) Last year this hotel, our room was unfortunately not clean, so they immediately swapped us. No biggie. It happens. This trip room 209 was 85$ before taxes. Plenty of parking when we checked in around 8pm on Tuesday evening. I will say the woman who works that shift (same lady as last year) lacked any real customer service or personality. She seemed annoyed to check us in. However the older white woman the next morning was so outgoing and friendly, it evened out haha Breakfast was good. Bagels, cream cheese, pretty tasty sausage, decent coffee. Quite nice actually. The TV was wonky, we had to point the remote control behind the TV haha and eventually it worked. Beds both were VERY comfortable and quiet. All 3, we slept very well. Room service however shouldn't be knocking 2 hours prior to check-out, when we had the don't disturb sign. They were rude and unfriendly. Bathroom unfortunately only had 2 towels for 3 people and could use some updating. However it was a safe, cozy sleep. We still enjoy BW hotels. Many food options about a block behind the hotel.
