This a gem in Maspalomas for those looking for a no frills , no hassle and not busy gym…read more I visited Maspalomas for 2 weeks during 2023 summer Pride. Biceps has 1 day, 1 week, 2 week and monthly memberships. The 2 week membership was €40, which is great considering it's sometimes hard to find a gym on vacation. The owner was there each morning, and spoke English (and probably several other languages.) He is very kind! There is a non gendered bathroom, no showers, no lockers. Gym has 1 of everything you need, and since it was barely busy, I never had to wait for a price of equipment. Heads up - it's closed on Sunday's, and Saturday has limited hours. It also closes for siesta. I will definitely come back when I am in Maspalomas next.

And I wanted to give a few notes. If you like taking the fitness classes... choose or stay with good looks gym! The classes are far better... and the staff are incredible friendly. At gofit in Malaga, there are lots of classes... but their easy. They don't have dune, and they don't have a proper schedule. The same class is at different times each day making a schedule impossible. Not to mention extremely rude staff! Unless you need to swim (like I do), stay with Good Looks. The classes are advanced... and the staff know you by name. I miss that!

You can have weekly or monthly entrance, fees, or single entrance, which has the highest cost at €10 per entry. The gym office variety of go to workout stations, but the only inconvenience is that it can get really crowded, so you have to get a hunch at which time it's better to arrive for training

A small Trampoline and obstacle course area is in the enclosed infant/toddler area. For 4 years to I believe 12 years (it might be 11 years) there is a big play area with, from what I could see, a fireman's pole, a large ball pit, a bounce area, and lots of other stuff. Parents are not allowed in this area but are allowed in the 3 and under area. They have a rope obstacle course, go cart area, games (they take Euros), and some rides. There is an area for parents to sit down and relax and have a snack and drink. They have coffee, slushies, candy bars, chips, ice cream bars, Popsicles, and cookies. The staff was very nice, professional, and helpful.

The sun cover came down pretty far without unzipping to make it go almost all the way down to the bar. I was able to hook a fan to the front part and she had a great set up to keep cool in this hot weather. The wheels had a spring suspension system that was amazing for all the bumps and rough terrain at the Jungle Park. The way this thing handles is great. The handle bars are also adjustable. It is super easy to fold up and unfold. The only negative thing is that it is heavy. BUT that helps with the handling so everything else makes up for it. This was a very easy and quick process as well. As soon as I put in my request, I had a pretty much immediate response. The owner is so sweet and made it happen in such a short time. I am very thankful for that. He is great at communicating and reminded me the day before pick up. Let's face it Mommas, sometimes we just need that cause we are busy and already have a lot going on. Decent price for the 3 days as well.

The whole experience was amazing and so was the customer service. I instantly felt like I could trust the people despite my poor Spanish and little know how of how everything worked. I was contacted by BananaPalmBay through Twitter which then dos the reservations for me (great service). My instructor was Robertos. As I did not need transportation and the other logistics that they had to offer, I met the driver at Tu Trebol supermarket where we started the journey from up to the mountain. Once the slightly scary car ride up the mountain was over and we were at the top, it didn't take the instructors long (at all!) to assemble the harness and parachute. Next thing you know, I'm running off the cliff and feeling like nothing could put me down! It felt simply amazing! It was a great day to fly. The sky was clear with only spots of clouds, the sea was as blue as the post card pictures and despite the little turbulence, I felt like a goddess watching over my earth ! Haha. Don't I wish I was. Overall, it was a great experience and nothing better than landing on the beach as everyone watched! Talk about a special entrance haha!
