Just over 1.5 acres, split about 40/60 into separate small dog and large dog areas (where rules indicate small dogs can go in large dog area at owner's risk, but not vice versa). Large trees within fenced acreage, double gates at the entrance, pet waste bag and disposal stations, dog water fountain (seasonal), and a couple benches. It's listed on the city website as 500 Lakeway Dr, but that address will take you far from the dog park section. Better to put 'Burbank Park' in your navigation app, and it's the first left after the big Burbank Park entrance sign.

They offer a couple of tours daily at the mountain summit. Overall, not a bad summit considering that it's New England. I'm accustomed to 14rs where I live. Park is clean. People heavy depending upon what time of day and year you visit. I visited on 4th of July weekend. It wasn't as people heavy as expected. The drive up from the main roadway is really nice. Beautiful area! I would visit this park for another opportunity if I'm ever in the area again.

The drive up to the summit is an easy drive, about 30 minutes. The State Reservation Center showed a short informational video. We were able drive up early in the morning to watch the sun rise and get some great pictures.

Hand Hollow is a 433 acre site with a pond and lots of hiking trails…read moreIn the late fall and winter it's definitely a 5 star spot but in spring it's REALLY MUDDY and in summer all you can hear on the weekends is the racetrack on Rt. 20. I walked the trails here last weekend and it was peaceful and serene. If you do all the trail loops it works out to about 5 miles worth of trails, not enough to make it a real work out but perfect on a winter day.

But the trail was well marked and mostly gentle hills/easy, although lots of boulders/tree roots to watch out for. No bugs to speak of. Had a nice spring hike here along the trails and a lot of trilliums, jack in the pulpit, violets,…read moreand others were blooming in the woods. A great quiet spot with varied types of trees and ATV trails that are well groomed and look tick safe as well. The rocks themselves are interesting glacial erratics clustered in the woods near the "balancing rick" which in itself is really cool to see. Sadly the lowlife dragnuckled troglodytes who have also sought this spot out for their own nefarious rituals have left their marks like beasts urinating and defecating in some desperate plea to be memorialized before their puerile and vacuous little lives come to a miserable end. The rocks have been tagged and carved over the years leaving the main attraction a sad wreckage of nature that also reflects how rare it is today to see natural beauty as yet undefiled by a plebeian urban mob better served by a bag of party sized Doritos couch side with Call of Duty gun fire blaring on the big screen. A video camera with night vision should be set up at sites like this to catch the miscreants so they can be rounded up and put to work repairing the damage they do in the world. I know that the park system is strapped for cash now and understaffed but someone should really check more often to remove at least the most offensive messages and other garbage left on these blighted stones. The swastika needs to go!

My wife and I love going to sculpture parks and on sculpture tours. We have done this in many…read morestates- Maine, Vermont, New York- and now Massachusetts. The Turn Park Space is a fairly large location spread out over many acres. There is a small river flowing next to the park with high rocky outcrops. They even placed a few sculptures on this escarpment to view from the other side. We both enjoyed our time there- my favorite piece was titled "Reflection", by Nikolai Silis.
