Just note that they do add a lot of lime so it's super acidic, which I didn't mind at all. Egg was perfectly runny. It's a good spot for brunch. Croque Madame was delicious- one of the best breakfasts I've ever had but they have some operational issues that kept me from giving 5 stars. They don't offer glasses of Prosecco (only bottle) even though they offer glasses of mimosa, the food took varying amounts of time, and the wait staff seemed quite stressed a lot of the time. I have to admit I think this place is more of a "tourist" attraction - don't get me wrong there are plenty of locals however, the food is good not anything too special about it. I do think you are able to find better option elsewhere. The service was excellent and all staff was very attentive and kind! The chilaquiles were just okay, nothing special, a little too tart for my taste - I would've loved something spicier. The coffee was excellent and the almond croissant was great! I got the chocolate drink and fried eggs with chorizo as well as french toast to share. The food was fine, the drink was great. The coffee my friend ordered was also delicious. The french toast was ok with fruit, although the toast itself tasted like cake but I had this experience at other places around too so it may be the style here. This place was so good I ate here TWICE while in CDMX. some of the best pasta I've ever had was this wagyu steak pasta. Chilaquiles were great too but the bacon was pretty pricey (it was extra). This place is a little bit more pricey compared to others but given the quality of food it's honestly great. Staff is friendly, and we never waited long for a seat (no more than 20 min). You can eat indoors or outdoors, the are is nice. You can come casual but it is more on the slightly upscale side. read more

Cute spot for brunch in the Roma Norte neighborhood! This place is by the same chef behind Maximo Bistrot, which was one of our favorite dinners in Mexico City (definitely recommend going there too). We came here early, ~9AM, on a Saturday and were able to be seated right away. By the time we left though, there definitely was a wait outside. We got the pancakes and the scrambled eggs with chorizo. Both were fantastic! The pancakes look like a lot, but they were so light and fluffy. Not overly sweet either! My boyfriend got a coffee too, and he said it was also good. This was our last meal in Mexico City, but I wish we could've come back to try more food, especially their pastries. By the way, this place has WiFi with a good amount of seating in case you need to get some work done! read more

It's a single slice, but very moist and a bit crunchy on the outside. It comes with raspberry compote, fresh berries and really, really good cream. The BLT is also excellent! It comes sliced and very big. The sauce they add makes it pop and the bacon is made in-house. 2) Drinks: Their coffee menu is great. My latte was perfect and every table comes with sugar to add if you need it. 3) Service: Among the best service we had in CDMX. It's attentive and friendly. We showed up on a Sunday around 9:30 a.m. and only waited for five minutes for an outdoor table for our party of four. 4) Space: It's beautiful with quirky, but fun murals on the inside. Lalo has my favorite Chilaquiles, so this is one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had. The green sauce is amazing! That was my favorite green sauce ever. The spice is on the mild to moderate level. But the flavors were bursting. I sopped up the extra sauce with a tortilla after finishing the dish. Then I bought a liter of the green sauce to take home. I can't get enough of it! The scrambled eggs with escamoles was different.... When I looked it up I found that it was an insect product. That was my fault, I am not a big fan of eating insects. I know that it is a local custom so I will not really have a review of this dish. The croissant was just OK for me. I think it was a bit over done. I don't think I would order this again. The flat white and cappuccino were fresh and delicious. They are not overly sweet but that is how I like my coffee drinks. The late art was a nice touch. It was lively with all sorts of people, but the wait for two people was just a couple minutes. This place is popular for good reason. The spot has indoor and outdoor seating with really bright and happy colors throughout. The service was quick and impeccable. For two Americans, doing their best with Spanish, they were really patient and accommodating and spoke in English when it helped out. The meal itself was delicious. Chorizo for me is hit or miss but this is made in house and not a grease trap. My friend got the fruit and avocado toast, both were really bright and fresh and delicious. I cannot believe everyone wasn't ordering them. I went there once and tried them with berries - incredible! The second time with maple syrup - equally incredible! A stack of three, hearty, but not too heavy, dense and soft in the middle and slightly crispy around the edges. I've never had pancakes this good in the States. I got a Bloody Mary which imo was done perfectly (spice, vodka level was perfect), i got the popular fluff pancakes with a side of bacon and eggs and everything was amazing.
