I received a…read morevoicemail not long after my emergency room staying offering a "substantial discount" on my medical bills. Well I jumped on that and called to schedule payment or make a one time payment to get this taken care of. No one ever answered. Even after leaving a voicemail and requesting a call back. So I got on my chart which is the patient portal. Sent three separate messages at different times and only got one response from someone saying that the patient portal isn't where I'd talk to someone about this and that I'd need to call customer service. I explained I had done that and never got another reply. The real kicker here is that hillcrest sent my bill to collections. This means they sold my debt for Pennie's on the dollar instead of getting in touch with me to pay my bill. My medical needs were taken care of and the staff was amazing. I am able to separate the hospital from the accounting department. But for crying out loud they make it impossible to pay my bill and if they don't plan on honoring their discount then don't offer it in the first place

hillcrest hospital in pryor is a literal joke, my husband had to go in and been seen and get a work…read morenote and when he got home he said "they put me off till the 1st of the year" so i called back up there to see if it could be changed because he only needed it for one day and i talked " Felicia" about it and she was extremely disrespectful and tried to tell me that i was the one who was misunderstanding the whole situation, after her telling me that i was wrong for 5 mins she said she " I can make as many as I need, but you need to talk to your husband about what he's telling me" and then i went and got the new doctors note and got the number to call and complain about how she was talking to me ( i was calm the whole time during this) i get a phone call with some lady who's "head of the er department" and she continues to tell me that "i'm in the wrong about coming to get the new doctors note and i wasn't there so i really don't know what was talked about and that im being argumentative to her and her staff" when i literally was trying to explain my side and kept getting cut off by her. such a shitty hospital to have in town with employees that can just talk to people how ever they want to.

I want to compliment RN Issac and KiKi, what ever she is. This was HB 8, corridor I believe. Now, a P.A. is over an RN. Issac explained to me that it varies state to state and even hospital to hospital. they were busy as usual and parked my emergency cart against the wall in HB 8. For the time I was there I saw and heard a lot. I was a bloody mess but no one seemed to care. no blankets offered until Kiki came along and that was nearly dismissal time. But besides all that I want to give St John a massage. Cologne. When I was there shortly ago an ER nurse walked me to the bathroom. I nearly gagged she smelled so offensive, I wondered how her coworkers could take it. like a realllly strong deodorant is all I can say. Here in HB there a hefty "guard" who'd stroll through wafting whatever he was wearing. sick/ wounded people should not be subjected to these conditions. It's a medical facility, not a NY cab, no offense, not all cabbies.

We understand that doctors, surgeons, and nurses are busy, but communication with a patient's family should not be treated as an afterthought, especially when the patient has hepatic encephalopathy, a condition that can make it difficult to accurately remember or relay medical information. Every morning, doctors would evaluate my mother and explain her treatment plan to her, but our family was almost never contacted afterward. We were expected to get important medical updates from someone who was not always capable of communicating them accurately. One example was when my mother's hematoma was drained. None of us knew the procedure had even been scheduled until we arrived at the hospital and found her already being prepared. As the people listed on her chart to receive medical information, we should not have been finding out about major procedures at the last minute. Trying to get updates ourselves was just as frustrating. We would call the nurses' station asking to speak with a nurse, only to be told they were too busy and would call us back, or we would sit on hold until the call disconnected. Most of the time, we never received the promised callback. This review is not meant to criticize the staff who worked hard to care for my mother. It is about a communication system that repeatedly failed our family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Families deserve timely updates, returned phone calls, and communication that recognizes when a patient is unable to reliably relay important medical information. I sincerely hope Saint Francis improves its communication with authorized family members so other families do not have the same experience.

They have been great and make us both feel welcome and my therapist finds ways to get my husband involved in my care on the home side of things. She has taken the time to walk him through the steps, which is great! As a breast cancer survivor, battling lymphedema as well, I can highly recommend them, for their caring demeanor, spousal inclusiveness, and being their to fight and advocate for their patients when needed. One of the biggest blessings is they are also their to listen to you as well, no matter what you are going through. They become part of your extended family when all is said and done.(Thank you Audrey. You have been the best blessing to Michael and I during this journey.Welcome to our crazy crew).

Literally I tried all 3 as pcp's one is gone now and they all have no idea of what the heck they are doing and they don't listen to your opinion or knowledge of your own health.
