When you enter, there are two big screen TVs so you can see your pet on one of them. Our Maisie had a blast going to "school" for half-days when it was winter and she needed to run around more than in our house. When we would pick her up, they'd announce, "I need Teeny Maisie from Small Dogs" and we could see all the small dogs run for the exit with JUST Maisie being brought to us! The dogs are SO SO happy. And a GOOD dog is a TIRED dog. We had Janelle for a couple of training classes, and she knows her stuff. We got excellent training and tips from Janelle - she was authoritarian and organized, and gave individual attention as needed. Highly recommend! Lastly, yes, there's more, we have had wonderful grooming done at DDB. Always a great job on grooming, very happy. This is a great business and we will continue to support them.

She says: "I know that cats can be "difficult" but I have a way of handling them that keeps them calm throughout the grooming process." In reality, she refuses to see cats who may be "difficult" because she is scared, unskilled, and unprofessional. She first saw my Persian cat a couple months ago, who was matted due to a skin condition. She was unable to do the job herself. She called me and my husband to help her, along with her manager. I contacted her for another appointment when my cat was in better shape (no matting), and, knowing my cat's temperament, she confirmed she would be able to see my cat again. She scheduled us on a Sunday for 1:30. She cancelled last minute and changed it to 3:00pm- extremely unprofessional. We arrived at 3:00pm, and without even looking at my cat, she began giving us a lecture about why she can't see him because he might be "bitey". Are you telling me you've never worked with a cat who is uncomfortable with grooming? She asked us to leave and have him drugged before coming in. I told her I had actually given him gabapentin before the appointment and she replied "I don't believe you". Is that any way to speak to your customers? And, why could she have not communicated this requirement to us before the appointment? Alicia is unable to work with cats and I will be escalating this situation further.

Margie told me to come in at 5:45 PM so we could do my cat Tofu's sanitary trim together, as he is sensitive about his hindquarters. I arrived exactly on the dot, only to find she had completely gone back on her word and tried it without me. I walked into the salon to a horrifying scene: my cat had a metal grooming leash tightened around his neck and was thrashing so wildly he was on the verge of choking himself to death. He is a gentle Ragdoll, but he was forced into a blind, life-or-flight panic by being unsafely restrained. While she eventually let go of the loop, the damage was done. The second I grabbed him, he immediately calmed down--but because he had been pushed to such a terrifying limit before I got there, he completely ripped his nail out in the struggle. On top of that, the paw pad trim I explicitly requested was never even done. To make matters worse, I was charged $108 for both cats ($54 each) for an incomplete job and a severely traumatized, injured pet. For comparison, my brother brought his cat here previously for the exact same full service and was only charged $40. Margie may be kind on the phone, but her handling was incredibly unsafe, she went back on her explicit word, and the pricing is entirely inconsistent. I will never bring my pets back here. I'm completely traumatized on what I walked into. My heart is completely broken

Short Story Jen is…read moreawesome and super caring for all the dogs. I rarely trust anyone with my dog, but after a very short period I came to trust in Jen and my dog loved the experience. I highly recommend using this day care, ESPECIALLY if you do not want you dog locked in a kennel for hours a day. Long Story I own a 5 year old boxer mix named Oscar. Oscar has been my only family, traveling with me for the past 5 years and I care for him very much. As so, it is very hard for me to leave him in the hands of others and NEVER over night. I started using the day care because of my work schedule and also because of how happy he was when I would pick him up. He quickly learned the word "day care" and really looked forward to seeing Jen and the other dogs. I became so comfortable because of his obvious enjoyment that this was the first day care I ever allowed my dog to be stay over night!
