I have been taking my dog Penny to Bubbles for quite awhile now. My Penny is a Papillon/Pomeranian mix, and she has beautiful Papillon ears. Whenever I bring her to be groomed, I tell them not to shave her ears, as they are beautiful. I found out just today, however, that they have not been grooming her above the neck because of my request about her ears, with the result being a difference in hair length across the back of her head. I didn't know this until today. They told my daughter, who went in to get her. I am furious about this. I'm giving them two stars because of this. They could have clipped her head between her ears. On top of this I was charged 78.00 for the grooming and teeth brushing for a 15 pound dog. read more

I been going to petco since I got my dog cause I didn't really know a good grooming place. But each time I go back, his cut was never how I wanted and his hair was shorter than What I told the groomer. Due to quarantine, I started looking for groomers that are open. I can upon this location and decide to give it a try. I also found out that my friend brings his dog there and he loves it and highly recommend this groomer location. Staffs are super friendly and good with my dog. They would ask how you want the cut and they really care about owners' opinion. I would never ever trust my dogs here again. Brought my girls to the groomer and got a phone call a few hours after texting them wondering what was taking so long. Then later the owner called telling me to call my vet. I arrived and they had cut off a part of my dog's ear. She is 17 and has a heart murmur and was shaking. I put her in my car and drove her To the emergency room. The groomer was very apologetic. The owner on the other hand was not. After the emergency vet trip and a bunch of meds later they weren't able to repair it due to the heart murmur and age of my dog. I was also told because she could not get stitches she needed two more follow up appointments at the vet. I was told to give the hospital Bubbles information so they could pay as she said she would cover any vet fees due to the incident. Coming back to pick up my other dog, the owner handed me a piece of paper and said " you know you should have signed these papers before the groom saying we weren't responsible for payment". She never apologized or asked how the dog was. Fast formed to two more vet payments that are still pending from my vet. 3 months later!! I would never ever come back here again. My 14 week old shih tzu, Luna had a great time! It was her first ever grooming and they made me feel so comfortable. I didnt want her to be in a cold crate for hours like other places with no toys or anything to make her feel comfortable through such a new experience. They let her keep her toys, blanket and treats. She zoomed through the salon and made a new fur friend! I was so impressed with the service and loved that my puppy had such a great time, I really appreciated that because shes usually very shy and they made her feel soo comfortable! I want to start this off by saying that the actual services that I paid for my dog to get were done well (bath, brush, nail trim). However, while I was there, a couple things happened that have been bothering me more and more since I left. First, as soon as I walked into the salon, there was no one at the front desk, but an employee came to talk to me from over a half-door that separates the waiting area and the rest of the salon. As she was taking my dog and asking what services he'd be getting, I noticed that there was a tiny Shih tsu (or similar breed, not completely sure) that couldn't have weighed more than 5lbs on one of the grooming tables behind her who had been left unattended. A moment later, this dog slipped out of the harness, fell off the counter-height grooming table, and SMACKED onto the floor. The thing that bothered me the most was that no one reacted or even acknowledged that this tiny, not particularly hardy dog had fallen off of their table. The employee continued talking to me about my dog instead of going to check on the one that had fallen. I regret not saying anything myself, and not sticking around to make sure that the owner knew what had happened. I just hope it wasn't hurt and that the staff told the owner once they arrived to pick up the dog. The second thing that didn't sit well with me was that as I was waiting in the front area for my dog, I heard an employee in the back yelling at one of the dogs and saying "you're such a pain in the ass!" I know that some dogs get nervous with grooming, which why a lot of people bring their pets to professionals in the first place- to hopefully cut down on the stress the dog has to experience. I was disappointed to hear a professional groomer swearing in such a mean tone at what was probably a nervous/scared dog. Needless to say, while the bath and nail trim were done fine and the price was very reasonable, my pup and I won't be back. read more

So I took my dog here for the first time with the recommendation of a friend. When I drop my dogs off for the first time the person at the front desk said it would be about 3 to 4 hours five at the absolute most. When I went to call to confirm he was done after four hours they said they haven't even started him and he's been in a cage for this long. At this time I want to go pick them up while nothing was done they said they were shortstaffed and have a lot of dogs matted that came in that day. When I said I'm leaving and he's not getting cut they said well let's reschedule and we can give you a $20 credit. I tried this place because it was very conveniently close to home. They told me it takes 2-4 hrs for a grooming which is what I expected. After 5 hrs I called and was told that it would be another half hour. They called after another hour. When I picked up my dog and asked what took 6 hrs they offered some lame excuse about another dog coming in. No further explanation was given even when I pressed for a reason why it took so long. They also ended up charging me more than the quoted price; again no explanation. It was as if they didn't care if I ever came back.. Don't worry I won't! read more
