During that time, I've seen tremendous growth in her communication and social skills. Mr Neil is not only knowledgeable and highly skilled but also incredibly kind and patient. He always takes the time to answer my questions and shares helpful suggestions for supporting my child at home. What stands out most is how genuinely he cares about each child and makes both children and parents feel welcome and supported. That personal connection means so much to our family, especially in a field where services can often feel rushed and business focused. While waiting for my child during her sessions, I've also noticed how kind, caring and patient the other therapists at Gold Speech are with their clients. I highly recommend Mr Neil and Gold Speech to any parent looking for compassionate, high quality speech therapy or social skills groups for their child !

From the start, Julia focused on setting the right, achievable goals, and it made all the difference. Because of her expertise, my son was able to meet every milestone we set. Her communication with us as parents is top-notch; after every session, she provides a clear summary of his strengths and areas for improvement, which helps us stay on track at home. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves her and looks forward to every session. We couldn't be happier with the progress he's made! I also want to give a huge shout-out to Tracy at the front desk! I can't thank the staff enough, all of whom are so kind, for their services and for the wonderful care they provided my daughter while she was a patient at this clinic. I truly recommend this place and their services.

I am a single father that struggled to find helpful resources for my 6 year old autistic son,…read moreAyden, that is non-verbal. I leaned on my job's network and I had multiple peers singing the praises of Bright Stars for speech therapy. Due to the hurdles I have faced in the past, I was rather pessimistic at first and made some assumptions, that maybe this place would be like others with a long waitlist and would just forget about me. However, Kristen White reached out to me even though there was a waitlist and pulled some strings to assist me in getting care that I need because she saw how bad I was struggling. Her smile and calming tone gave me hope that there was a light at the end of the tunnel with getting my child the help he needs. After the evaluation, we did not have to wait too long before we are connected with Chelsea Miranda. She was an amazing start in my speech therapy journey and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. My son, Ayden, would run to her in excitement and ready for the educational play. Although she informed me she was relatively new, I feel like her willingness to engage with my son every session and focusing on building a connection won me over with Bright Stars. Due to scheduling issues I am having at the moment, unfortunately we no longer could work with Chelsea. On the other hand, in life when one door closes another door opens, and I could not be more happy to start working with Dakota Noble. When I tell you, I was nearly emotional after our first few sessions because I felt like the insurance commercial, I am finally in good hands. The cool thing about Dakota is that she have a vast background working with autistic children and day one I could tell she was the one (therapist wise of course, don't want my girlfriend mad at me). The way Ayden runs to the center and grabs her hand and take her to the room for their session warms my heart. I am just an engineer that is still figuring out this fatherhood and child services for a special needs child out. Not only has Ayden been building a connection and growing, but she has been an outstanding mentor from a parenting perspective on figuring out how to navigate everything. She is so intelligent, patience, and kind. It is an interesting feeling to not only have your child feeling heard, understood, and seen, but a parent that is fighting to be the best parent they can be feeling the same way is unmatched. So I say all of this because I wanted to show my appreciation of the Bright Stars staff that includes the front desk that has worked with my chaotic schedule too, Candace Carson-Brunt and Carol Cabri. Thank you all and I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart and I look forward to continuing to work with you all.

Kristen and Dakota kept sessions fun and engaging while working on oral motor skills, articulation, and vocabulary. Their annual testing and plans were easy to share with her school team, which kept everyone focused on the same goals. My son took to Mayra immediately and looked forward to going to her sessions every week. She even took the time to rework our session schedules due to my changing schedule and also arranged for my son to practice speaking or "playing" with other kids around his speech level. I saw his confidence grow in interacting with other children verbally. The other therapists who work with Mayra are fantastic as well with giving individual reports after each session. We figured that we would wait him out, but six months went by and instead of getting better, his stutter actually started to get worse and he started to have some other concerning developments. At that time, we decided to bring him in to see a speech therapist. We feel so lucky to have found Mayra. After 3 sessions with Mayra, my son's speech dramatically improved -- actually, more than improved, the speech disfluency completely went away! We continued to go to our session for a few more weeks until Mayra let us know that she no longer needs to see him on a weekly basis and we should just check in every month or so, so she can keep an eye on his speech and make sure he doesn't regress. AMAZING! Thank you Mayra. You are truly skilled at what you do.

My daughter has bad reflux and difficulties taking the bottle which was really stressful for me. Prior to the appt Jennifer called me to do an intake to discuss my daughter's case and answered all my questions. She made me feel comfortable and confident about working with her from the start. When we met her in person, she was very warm and friendly. During her physical exam and assessment she noticed things that other providers did not. It is very clear to me that she is passionate about her job and cares about her patients and their families. The appointments never felt rushed and she frequently gave us extra time. I really appreciated her upbeat attitude and empathetic nature. My experience with her was night and day compared to my experience seeing the pediatric occupational therapist at Kaiser who did not help me nor my baby at all. My baby did end up getting better and the process of feeding became less stressful. Unfortunately we lost insurance coverage and couldn't continue with her. When that happened she called me to check-in, answered my questions, sent me detailed pamphlets about starting solids and said that I could always reach out to her if I had questions even though I was discharged from her clinic. I am very grateful for her care and guidance and highly recommend her. If my baby has difficulty with solids I will plan to return to her even if insurance doesn't cover it.
