I was nervous coming into TFS the first time, but that was quickly washed away as soon as I walked in - Stormie greeted me and made sure I knew where everything was and then proceeded to give a run down of the Mega before class. The attentiveness from all the instructors during each class is top notch. Making sure the each of us not only understands the moves, has the correct form, but also that our mental game is just as strong. If they see us struggling they are the first to encourage us to keep going and that might be the hardest part of the entire 45 minute class. Make sure to test with door locked to avoid possible subsequent issues 2) bathroom stall was out of toilet paper, so hopefully some more can be stocked up. The moment I walked in and saw the equipment they had to offer, I knew I was home. They have everything you need to take a true holistic approach to fitness. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the welcoming staff and shown around. Unlike most places I've been around here where the front desk employee kinda looks at you weird like they're wondering why you're bothering them with your presence. All in all, Jack City is an uplifting environment with a welcoming community and unparalleled fitness resources that makes me miss it and wish I had a place like this to train at when I'm gone. You could say I've become obsessed. Im so much stronger with muscles for the first time in my life. I think the cherry on top is the music. You get so pumped up you push yourself to do a better workout. I never thought fun and workout could be in the same sentence but this studio changed my life ! A year and a half later, I still Lagree 5 days a week. Best part, you can pretty much take a class anywhere. When I travel out of the state and country I've always been able to continue on vacation. I found Ryan and can't believe my luck. Ryan has it all when it comes to personal training. Ryan certainly has the training/certifications, and it shows during our sessions. He has a full understanding of human musculature and knows how to approach every workout set to maximize safety and gain the most benefit. He focuses on making sure you do everything the right way and explains why you're doing everything he shows you to do. He is really organized, keeping a detailed record of your previous sets/reps/weight to help you constantly grow and improve over time. He has a focus on weight management if you seek that, making recommendations on meal plans, use of calorie tracking apps, and just to add that helpful accountability so you can hit your health goals. He also has a massive and still growing exercise equipment inventory which I've frankly never seen before, and he always leverages the right equipment for the next step in your improvement. If you have any physical limitations, which I have a few, Ryan is always aware of them and helps you to work around them, or improve them, depending on your situation. And although I started out one-on-one, my daughter is now also attending my sessions with me, at NO ADDITIONAL COST, and he works in parallel to support both of us. Seriously, I've never been more motivated to improve, nor more stronger, than I am right now because of Ryan. Finally, he's in a new location providing a lot of room, and he's constantly adding new equipment and high value hardware which in my opinion really makes him second to none in Treasure Valley. First off, know that if you park in the parking garage, come straight out the garage and go towards the office building across from the hotel! On my own accord, I circled the entire building before realizing where the door was! Upon entering PIVOT, I went straight to the cycling room and was able to be assisted by Keith since I had issues getting myself signed up online. Tip: be sure you know which location you are signing up for! As for class, I was able to catch a strength class. Stages indoor bikes are used, which was a plus for me. The workout is based off the training regimen for Olympic cyclist Kristin Armstrong. Although I am used to an indoor cycling class that has choreography and varies between hills and flat roads, I thoroughly enjoyed Keith's class!

In fact, my tour of the facility was with Kristin herself, a great intro to the gym. The facility is state of the art. 3 group rooms for classes, spinning & yoga and additionally a larger weight/cardio area. Everything was clean, well laid out with adequate space. Masking requirements in and out of the facility, with easy to maintain physical distance. Free WiFi, 24-7 access with a key fab to the building. The only deterrent, parking. There's a garage with the 1st hour free ($3/hour after) and street parking on 13th. But it's such a great gym I'm going to figure out the parking situation. Another location near Harris Ranch off of Parkcenter is slated to open this winter sometime. Definitely top notch gym. All amenities, great staff, and quality programming.
