Customer service was absolutely terrible. Below is more details on my experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Once I had the gas log set picked out, I had a tough time getting their team to contact me back by e-mail and phone. They were very unresponsive. I finally placed an order for my log set, and had to keep on them for tracking the gas log sets to setup install. From my conversation with them it seemed they did not want to do the gas line install and told me to contact the propane company to do the install. I contacted several propane companies, and they told me they absolutely do not do this, it is the responsibility of the installer. I had to reach back out to get a new quote, which took several calls and emails. Finally after 2 weeks parts were ordered, and payment was sent. Then after not hearing from them for 2 weeks I called back to see status of my logs and install. Lucky that I called, because parts were in their warehouse, but they failed to make contact and schedule an install appointment. This timing was important because I also needed to coordinate myself with the propane installer as to when they need to come hook up my propane. Now this has been ongoing for 3-4 weeks, and they say they will be onsite in early January. 8 weeks after I was in their store and they told me it would take 2-3 weeks to get everything ordered and installed. Finally, the install date has come, and I have taken off work to be there. They were scheduled to arrive first thing in the morning. They did not show, and I could not contact them till 9am at which I found out they double booked me and went to a different jobsite. So then I had to contact the propance company last minute to setup a new schedule due to fireplace concepts mistake. They showed up to my house around noon to do the job. During the install they damaged my internet line coming into the house, leaving me to call and schedule metronet to come out and fix it the next afternoon. Once they completed the job, the installer left my house with very little training and walkthrough on how to use the set. Big thanks to Southern States propane because they stayed behind and walked through the setup and safety features several times with me. I was also left with cleaning up several cigarette butts on my property, and they were even standing right next to my trash cans.

The job initially started out good but a couple weeks into it, it went bad quickly. Jason promised that he would bring dirt to fill in all the gaps showing underneath - a year later and no dirt. I paid extra 500.00 for decorative color and trim to match my brown brick home and I got a dirty, two toned gray. I'm certain there isn't any color at all honestly. I have concrete splatter on the back of my home that will not come off no matter what. The patio and walkway are both cracking. One of his workers rolled sealer on my walkway and it looks TERRIBLE with streaking. I've messaged Jason for 1 year pressing him to finish and still no response or attempt to make things right. For 1 year he has given me very excuse under the sun as to why he couldnot finish and surprisingly when I checked his FB he was actually busy doing OTHER JOBS in Danville and close by and NEVER made an attempt to finish when he was LITERALLY in the area and could. I wish I had known about him before I ever hired him and that was my mistake being too trusting to someone that absolutely should not be trusted EVER.
