This place is serene beautifully laid Magic for a lake that is.... Its $3 admission plenty of tables and bbq pits or you can do like we did and bring your own. Unfortunately the owner of the snack stand is ill so no snacks available on site except on Saturdays. Just enjoy the breeze the laughter of the kids swimming in the water and the interesting plastic floaties I saw French fries lollipops ducks even a camel. I didn't picture of it but they have a gate where there are thousands of locks so if you're in the area grab a lock from dollar general and snap one on the gate

They're easy to deal with, the boats are fun, and I think the prices are reasonable. During the summer it's $349 plus gas for the day. We use it for tubing and knee boarding. The kids love it,. Some tips: Ask for ski vests. They're free but if you get busted by the rangers without them, you'll get a hefty fine. Radios don't work, so bring your own boom box. If you are staying at Tugelo, it's very quick by water and easy to find the park once you you're on the lake, but bring a park map so you can find your particular camp site easily.

Go across the interstate and it's the first accessible right to Harbor Light Marina Rd. There seems to be a lot of parking either at the clubhouse/restaurant level or down closer to the water. This seems to be a fairly well maintained marina - I've visited a few times as one of my friends keeps his boat there. It doesn't seem to be super busy, especially if you get there before lunch - seems most of the local boaters come later in the afternoon. The lake itself is beautiful and very clean/clear. It also seems less populated than the nearby party lakes so if you're into casual swimming this is the place for you.

They are very customer service friendly and have the best non ethanol gas on the lake. I highly recommend this marina. Beer and wine and ice at the store as well.

We dropped in to this Marina a couple weeks ago to drive my dads jet boat. The road to get to the…read moremarina was a bit winding, but the ramp was nice and flat. There is an area for RV's and the store was well stocked. We had a small repair that needed to be made to our boat trailer, and we hit a snag with our bolts. The kind, helpful attendant (Renee) called her husband to bring what we needed. They went out of their way to help us and wouldn't take a cent for it. Wonderful experience. Nothing fancy here, just a perfect place to drop your boat in. It costs $5 to use the ramp, but the bathrooms are clean, there are several courtesy docks to tie up at and nice clean gas too. I can't imagine needing anything else besides this great place to drop in. Thank you kindly to Renee and Bobby for the help!
