We love to go out to the outlets even if it's just to take a walk and enjoy a beautiful day. I love that most stores offer a discount for military and veterans. I just wished they didn't have so many vacant stores. Seems like there are more going than coming. For my recent visit, I was on a mission to find summer sandals. I stopped by Clarks, Cole Haan, Crocs, and Ecco. I found a pair of black sandals at Cole Haan. Mission accomplished! I have to say that the employees at this outlet are way friendlier than my local outlet over at Arundel Mills. I was greeted at almost every store that I went into. Since Lakeforest Mall closed years ago, this is the closest mall to my parents who live in Germantown. I like to shop here when I am in the area. read more

These are very convenient and clean premium outlets!! I typically only visit a few stores here (Clarins, Aldo, Off Saks 5th), but there is something for everyone at these outlets. Parking is plentiful, but no matter where you park, you'll be walking, because the place is extensive. There are some accessible elevators and elevators, but beware, they're typically out of order at any given time. You'll also find great deals here if you take your time and search, and can find some really great items. The food court, however, is seriously lacking in choices. Im actually quite surprised! But there also a lot of dessert and specialty shops that compete with the eateries in the food court, but I don't think that's an excuse. So after all that shopping, don't place your heart on good sit down eating at the outlets. Service typically depends on the store, but I do feel like this place has a bit of racial discrimination and bias. Like there is an uneasiness among everyone, and some people excessively watch people of color, especially if you're shopping alone. They're not as "brave" if you're with a group of 2 or more ppl. But Ive never experienced or witnessed any overt hatred or aggressive behavior. So it's not like these outlets are unsafe. Overall, I recommend..and it's located nearly off the highway. read more

I had not been here in forever and came with a friend. We did a lot of browsing of the stores and stopped in some to get a few items. I think we missed walking in an entire section of the outlet (discovered this as we were leaving the parking lot). Some of the escalators were out of service, but you had the option of taking the stairs or an elevator. Parking was not far from the outlet. read more

I've been visiting Clarksburg outlets a few times a year since they opened. I'm usually impressed with the deals and offers from stores. This year we came for holiday shopping and we left disappointed. In comparison to other years this year the offerings were terrible. Premium stores had really long lines that seemed unnecessary, the deals and/or selections weren't great. Stores like Nike had unbelievable and unbearable checkout lines. I will say I appreciated the food trucks and the food court. I'm not sure I'll return during the busy holiday season again due the lack of deals but I'll return to Clarksburg again. read more

I live in Baltimore County, about 30 miles from the Clarksburg Premium Outlets in Montgomery County. One Saturday, feeling bored, I decided to take a ride there. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The outlet is a beautiful property featuring both national brands and local shops. I have been going here a lot and the selection of stores wasn't always the best. There are a good amount of empty stores but I will say it is getting better. There are some new stores that are awesome like Victoria Secret and others that I love like Nike and Rack Room Shoes. They also have food trucks in two different areas. I knew I was in trouble, when they opened an outlet mall about 30 minutes from my home. Lord have mercy, and hide my credit cards. There are a ton of great places to shop. I love the Kate Spade store, but don't forget there is Michael Kors, Coach, and Tory Burch. Then, there is Nike, Uggs, and Under Armor for shoes. My new find was Carter's for kids and a Loft outlet for clothes. And these are only the stores I have visited. So, if you are looking for some good deals and great finds. This is a nice and well-built outdoor outlet mall with nice covering from the sun. There's a kids play zone and it's a good challenge for kids up to 12. Was impressed with the selection of stores in this particular mall. read more

This place is just not what it used to be. The morale here is pretty much gone. Some of the bigger names stores are slowly creeping away such as the Disney store just disappeared. It is more like the Lakeforest of outlets. Sooner or later this place will probably close. One whole portion of the place is empty. It literally is empty. The bigger designer names don't have good enough stock to spend there. Not enough for me anyways. The quality is usually "outlet" quality so do make sure you know what you're spending money on and not just the "brand" on the item. The amount of parking is good for every weekend except Black Friday week. There really is a lot of parking, but during Black Friday, it is never enough. It becomes hell here. I would avoid and come a week earlier than Black Friday. The sales are pretty much the same. Talking about sales, not much going on here in terms of sales. You're rarely ever going to find a good deal here. If you do, then you're in luck. The food court is by far the most disappointing so I would just skip it. The only thing that may be nice here is that you can take a stroll if you just want to walk around. It's not a bad stroll. read more

These outlets are in many ways a misnomer. The signs promise to save you 'money. Yet do they really do that? No in my opinion. Sure you might get an occasional deal, but these outlet malls, are just as expensive as the regular ones. I can't prove it, but I think consumers are starting to catch on. This one is fairly pleasant though. Due to the area it's high end. Lots of luxury stores, and to their credit good amounts of clothing and other merchandise. They have options. Our favorite place to shop in the area! They have good selections, decent number of premium brands (Theory, All saints, Vince, Saks off 5th) as well as your standard CK, Adidas and Nike stores. Tommy Hilfiger store#200 in clarksburg outlet center are the worst store ever. They discriminate the elderly and handicap people and don't let them use their handicap dressing rooms and rudely ask medical conditions and disqualify the customer to use this room according to their judgment as if they are medical physician who could understand medical conditions of a customer. And the store manager is a clueless ignorant rude person instead of listening to a customer s complain he blabbers about how right his associate was. As if handicap dressing room has qualifications about being g and elderly and a handicap to enter. Don't go to Tommy Hilfiger store. read more

As far as outlets go, Clarksburg Premium Outlets are a pretty cool addition to the area. Although it's been open for over 5 years now, it's not on my normal radar to visit frequently. It's not the largest or even the nicest outlets I've visited, but they do have a nice selection and it still has that new car scent. This was my second time visiting and they didn't really disappoint. Stores such as Uggs, Hugo Boss, Coach, Michael Korr's, Nike, and Polo Ralph Lauren - to name a few all are housed here. They even have an indoor food court and scattered food trucks around the perimeter of the outlets. It's only 2 levels and going through the middle blaring loud music is a small choo-choo train available to carry little ones around to enjoy a little fun. I personally am not a huge fan of outlet malls because I never think you really find huge deals, but my partner in crime loaded up on some really great deals. Since we were in the first heat wave of the season, I noticed a lot of the stores weren't really cool. Not sure if it was the opening and the closing of the doors that made the stores so warm, but it made for the visits inside the stores unpleasant. I was also glad to see many of the stores still requiring shoppers to have masks on - too bad they didn't truly ENFORCE IT! All and all, it was a productive visit. It takes me about 50 minutes to travel there from my house, so it was a nice little journey. I hope other stores will open here in the future. read more

I prefer driving up to these outlets over going to my nearby mall. This is the place to be for black friday and labor day weekend shopping. I got some insane deals those days for presents for many people on my list! Some of my favorite stores from that are located here are Tory Burch, Under Armor, Theory, Sunglass Hut, Cole Haan, and Banana Republic. Some other perks to this outlet mall compared to other outlet malls is that they have a Gucci store. There is a food stand with empanadas that is a must try. The reason I would not give this outlet a higher rating is because there bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and very small. Toilet paper everywhere. There is only one hand dryer and no paper towels so after using the restroom you still have to wait a while for everyone to finish washing their hands. They definitely could use more variety in this mall. There are lots of purse stores and activewear stores, but there are areas at the end of the shopping center that still have not been filled. Another note is that the food court looks pretty sad with about 3 food options inside. Across there is a pizza place that is good and a starbucks as well. read more

I like the Polo, Theory, Saks, Armani, Tory, Cole Han, Ugg's stores here seems larger than other outlet's and a better selection of products. Probably one of the closest outlets near Silver Spring area. I personally like this location better than Hagerstown Premium Outlets because of customer service, stores and overall layout. Parking is somewhat frustrating here as the lot feels a bit far from the actual stores. It's interesting because there's so much free parking available but just walking to the outlet feels like a trip. I don't always mind it as I rather park further away from other vehicles but if I'm ever in a rush or time-crunch, it feels like a hassle just trying to maneuver my way to the stores. I decided to go Black Friday shopping here and the deals were amazing. Kate Spade essentially had most items at 70% off with an additional 25% taken off afterwards. On top of that, most stores at this location take military and student discounts (I believe 10-15% off) on a regular basis. There were a lot of rude customers on Black Friday but store employees were prepared and came with positive energy. Again, customer service here is definitely much better compared to other Outlets I've been at. I returned today just to walk around and went into AllSaints. The vibe was completely different and the entire outlet felt empty. On top of that, I wasn't greeted whenever I entered a store and not a single employee at AllSaints was on the floor when I walked in. With just one week apart, it definitely felt like a completely different experience. The selection of stores is amazing! I think there's a great variety of brands that's geared towards pretty much anyone. I went into Adidas, AllSaints, Ann Taylor, Armani, ASICS, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Columbia, Express, Gap, J Crew, Journeys, Kate Spade, LOFT, Michael Kors, NIKE, Old Navy, Saks, Tory Burch and UGG. There's more stores as well but I didn't have time to visit them all! The layout of this outlet is wonderful. It's outdoors but there's two levels with stairs, escalators and elevators to get around with. Bathrooms are very clean and there's plenty of stalls, sinks and mirrors. There's a Starbucks available and the baristas do a great job with the holiday beverages. I've only been to the food court once for Kung Fu Tea (which was also up to par with their boba) but I can't comment on the actual food. Would like to shop here more regularly now compared to the local malls in my area. It's definitely worth the deals! read more

Overall I would say this outlet shopping center is mid-range on the scale of things. I have been to a good number of these types of places from near my hometown in MD, to ones near Pittsburgh, to Delaware and Ocean City. And seeing and shopping at a lot of these places the review of them should be broken down into 4 questions: 1.) What kind of diversity do the shops have? Are they a mix of good stores? Is it all high price brands? 2.) How many outlets do they have? Are you done walking through in an hour, or does it take a few to get things done? 3.) Do the stores have a good selection of inventory or is it the same tired stuff you see at all of them? 4.) Is there ample amounts of bathrooms and Food court? For this location: 1.) I found it more on the high end of things with a lot of brands that either I have only heard of or never have. It did have Polo and J Crew, Sakks, Armani, Steve Madden, Coach, MK, etc. Would have liked to have more stores- we were done in 1:30 stopping at about 10 stores. 2.) I would say there are probably 25? outlets here but the one area was full of empty spots. Yikes. 3.) Was kind of disappointed. It really depends on store- Polo was a huge store but it was the same 20 shirts in only S & Med sizes. It does have a big and tall section which is cool. J Crew inventory was awful, Nike was good. Overall meh. 4.) There was an area with food places but it was kind of lacking. If they were to get say a sit down place even like Ruby Tuesday or Applebee's etc in there might prolong people staying. Overall it was OK. But to my Hagerstown might be better for drive another 20-30 and hit up Arundel Mills. read more

10/4/20 First time to this outlet shopping Center, but I am enjoying the look, feel and attitude. The bathrooms...the men's was clean, but the little boys crawling under the bathroom stalls would not be appreciated by me if I were using the stalls. The kids were not likely to have wanted to wash their hands so that is another problem, but boys will be boys. On the upper level by parking lot D is, a lot of stores shut down for good. A lot of these stores were forced to close down because of this Coronavirus Pandemic. The stores that have remained open have long lines. Stores like Nike, Underarmour, Bath & Body Works, Adidas and Disney Store had lines. These were the most popular stores in this outlet shopping Center. Oh, let's not forget about my favorite store... THE PUMA STORE:) This shopping center would have been even better if the waterfall had still been up and running. I would gave likec to have seen this in living color. Still, we will be coming back here soon. Oh, I forgot to mention that this is the first place I have seen the new women's bathroom logo. I some some men and women get confused on the icon. Positives: It has quite a lot of parking, is easily accessible from the highway, has a lot of seating areas and is impeccably clean (the entire area is relatively newly constructed). There are quite a number of stores in a very walkable outdoor mall environment, with ample directions and organization. Once in the outdoor mall area you don't need to cross roads generally, which is nice. Negatives: There's a seeming lack of restaurants and food locales. Combined with sometimes the disorienting nature of the organization of the complex, it can lead to some hungry walking. Also one of the side parking lots says to only cross at the crosswalk but there appears to be no crosswalk. It also can feel a bit 'down' somehow, which isn't good for what should be a bustling shopping area. read more

Easily the best outlets around. We go out of our way to come here, and have never wasted a trip. Some of the stores here are a bit bougie for my simple taste, but there are enough spots here that's it's worth the trip. The sales here are crazy, when you come we just bounce from store to store finding awesome deals. Today at 6:00pm, there was a man wandering outside of the market hall smoking weed. The strong stench drew me away from the area. The escalators are almost never functional, even during the holidays. The market hall is still awaiting another food place since Johnny Rockets closed - which was probably close to when these outlets first opened in 2015/2016. Cellular service is terrible and so is the open Wi-Fi. There have been some new shops that opened up; however, the addition of more popular businesses would attract more people. The maintenance crew is amazing, they work hard to keep the place looking nice. Security just got new scooters so I have been seeing them around more than usual. I did a quick stop here on my recent trek to DC. I had time to kill and always said as I drove past on prior trips that I should stop, but never took the opportunity. When I arrived it was kind of dead, but I'll chalk that up to the fact that it was a rather rainy day and still kind of early in the day. That allowed me to go through this place like a breeze. I only really ran into people a few occasions. I like the setup of the outlet. It felt more like you were walking through a business district rather than a mall. With the building looking like two story walk ups it gave you the feeling that you can leisurely walk through here without having to worry about anything. The stores seemed plentiful as well. Good variety that allowed you to fulfill any retail need you had. The food court felt a little underwhelming. I felt like this place could have had a bit more of a variety that would have been beneficial. I am sure this place would be a lot better to visit if the weather wasn't so bad. Good thing is that a good portion of this is covered so if it is raining you don't have to worry about getting wet as much. read more

Ok it's time that I do a review. My second trip here and probably won't return for a while. The layout is pretty weird. It's spilt into two levels. That are broken up into clusters. I prefer a more of a square section or small sections. On a hot day it can wear you out. I was worn out after the first hour. Restrooms are at the food court and upper level. They were smelly. As for the stores: not too impressive. Not too many popular designers. My favorites Michael Kors, Tadashi and Kate Spade. UA was a little disappointing. Everything I wanted was either not in my size or wrong color. Customer Service not so welcoming here. Nike: always disorganized but good customer service. Converse: it's nice but nothing special from a regular Converse store. Tadashi had beautiful formal dresses but because I'm petite, I would definitely need a tailor for my dress. This store is definitely worth visiting and probably reason enough to make the long trip to this outlet. I subtracted a star for the awful food court. Something like Quikfire and some other Asian restaurant, a wanna be Chipotle joint, outside was a pizza place and Auntie Ann pretzels. They had a coming soon for Kung Fu Panda tea! Update: Based on our last visit, it will be some time before we would consider visiting again. Their website stated that they opened at 10:00 a.m. and every store separately listed their starting time at 10:00 a.m. We arrived shortly after opening to find that many of the stores - including big name stores - were closed. Only one of the stores on our agenda was actually open, while the others had signs indicating that they were actually opening one hour later, two hours later, or they displayed no sign at all, leaving us to guess if they were going to open at all that day. One establishment had a sign saying that they would open at 3:00 p.m. that day. Here's a suggestion for their website: Don't list opening times of 10:00 a.m. if you don't actually open at that time. At 10:45 a.m., the place was eerily uncrowded. As with our last few visit, there were maintenance issues - including a broken escalator, of course, and a lack of interesting food places. Prices seem as high as the "regular" store counterparts, and most of the sales seem to be of the type: "buy two get one free" or "buy one get one at 50% off". If you want just one (pair of shoes, for example), be prepared to pay the the high MSRP. It's a shame, because the layout is great, there is plenty of parking (even if it were ever crowded), and the employees are friendly. read more

Stores such as the Armani Outlet, Brooks Brothers, kate spade, Tory Burch, and Uggs are available, and dining options include Currito Burrito, Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza, and Auntie Anne's. As other Premium and outlet stores go, there may be slight differences in terms of the stores that are listed at each location, but the items are made specifically for outlets and the quality shows. The sizes, the colors, and the craftsmanship doesn't warrant the still high-marked 'outlet' prices. Another thing that was pretty annoying was the parking situation and the accessibility - the lack of signs ('Stop' or 'Yield'), the random blocked-off sections of the lot, the uneven parking spaces (especially the narrow space for cars to pull-in/pull-out), and the non-existence of pathways for pedestrians to safely get to the main portion of the outlets are not there.
