This is the worst place to deal with I'm owed a refund and was told it would be 14 to 16 WEEKS . They insisted that they would not be getting Medicate money so they did not include a deduction for Medicare so I overpaid . I spoke to a supervisor and got nowhere . I wonder if they would give you your glasses and you tell them you can wait 14 to 16 weeks to get paid . This is unacceptable and I'm emailing the CEO . I don't normally leave reviews but was compelled to do so this time for Clarkson Eyewear Manchester, NJ route 70. The staff is relatively professionand I love Doctor Malloy. However, when I went to purchase a new pair of glasses, which I was quoted 2 weeks prior around $240 period at that time. I wanted to think about purchasing. My glasses broke and I went back to Clarkson to see if they could be fixed, which they could not and to buy another pair, I found the same frames that I had, I felt very pressured to add all of these additives on when I specifically told the woman I just wanted distance glasses. She insisted on adding the glare to the inside of the glass. This way, when the Sun is behind me, it protects my eyes. She quoted me $657 for a pair of glasses. I almost fell off the chair. The frames were only a $129. You're gonna tell me that the rest of that was for my prescription? I don't have anything special on the prescription. I was able to get her down $357. She kept back pedaling.She also told me my prescription changed, which was untrue cause I compared my 2025 prescription to my 2024 prescription and nothing has changed. I finally walked out of the store. And this was with insurance coverage. I headed over the beaches which had a wide variety of frames pick the frame for a $119. They were half price on sale with my prescription and all came to $227. And that's without insurance. Needless to say, I we'll never go back to Clarkson, talk about Trying to take advantage of someone , they should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Very very disappointed. My glasses were not made correctly. When I went back to complain - they very rudely told me they would remake as a one time courtesy only. The person helping me picked out a pair of frames that were much less expensive than the ones I originally purchased but would not refund the difference. The second pair that was made was worst than the first pair. They would not stay in place - they were too big and not the correct frames! I would not recommend this place at all!! read more

This was my first visit with Dr. Donna Malloy. The staff is amazing! I was squeezed into their already booked schedule because I had some concerns about my vision. Dr. Malloy did a very thorough examination and assured me that my eyes were healthy. They have a very impressive selection of frames, and the staff was very helpful and assisted me with the selection of my frames.
