Even a general explanation or guidance would have shown respect for families going through admissions. Based on this experience, I would caution other parents to be prepared for limited communication and to consider whether this aligns with the level of support and openness they expect from a school community.

The classrooms are huge and spacious, the teachers GENUINELY care for the kids they care for, and they spend time doing activities that challenge their brain. This is such an awesome thing for babysitting too, and it's a great price for all of the cool things they do all day. They were hands down everything we wanted for our children. OCS has a wonderful parent/teacher and parent/administration relationship. We are so pleased with the concern and care that is taken with each child and their gifts, abilities and needs. We love the family involvement that is created, without pressure, but by far beneficial. There is a concern to not just build great students, but great families as well. There is nothing more reassuing than knowing that our kids are being loved on and taught by ones who truly love our Savior and who desire our kids to know and love Him as well. OCS has an amazingly gifted staff which provides opportunities for the students that go beyond just every day learning.
