I've been having terrible, painful, heavy periods every 2 or 3 weeks that my family doctor could no longer control. After seeing Dr. Hopkins, doing all the needed tests and scans for insurance purposes, we chose to go forward with a hysterectomy. Her bed side manner in the operating room was the only reason I didn't jump off the table. She found horrible endometriosis they had fused my intestinesto my uterus, fibroid cysts all over my uterus, and ovaries. Without her willingness to listen to me, I'd still be dealing with this decade long misery. I'm so thankful for her. Oh and her office staff have been nothing but amazing and friendly!!!

I had given up after 3 years of having legs like elephants and my foot was 18 inches around. I had seen 2 other vein doctors and was told sorry we can't help you. I said ok, lets do this because you are my last hope. almost 2 years later my legs are back to normal, Lymphedema is under controlled. After 6 years trying to get knee replacements (bone on bone and in a wheelchair because I can't walk the knees are so bad) I have had 7 procedures and with each procedure things got better. The left leg was a struggle and just didn't want to go as good as the right, but we never gave up. Last procedure was done on Dec. 11th, 2025 and my left leg is back to normal now. Lymphedema will never go away but you can control it. I tried everything before I went to Integrated Vascular, Physical therapy, massages, compression boots, exercises, you name it and I got no relief. I was extremely pleased with both Dr. Shuster and his entire staff. They treated me as if making my legs better was their life's goal. They could not have been any more professional but also had a great sense of humor which helps to alleviate some of the apprehension a patient might have. They explained every step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and informed during the entire procedure. I don't know that you could get any better treatment from anyone or anywhere. Some patients may mistake Dr. Shuster's attitude as harsh (it isn't)but it is just that he is more concerned with your treatment and end results than he is winning any personality prizes. If you treat him with respect he will treat YOU with respect! IT's as simple as that! Scheduling an appointment is incredibly difficult, and once you arrive, the wait times are unreasonably long.To make matters worse, the staff is unprofessional, unhelpful, and shows a complete lack of empathy for patients dealing with stressful health concerns. Communication is virtually non-existent, and trying to get a straight answer regarding billing or follow-ups is an ongoing headache. A cardiology clinic should prioritize patient care and efficiency, but this place falls completely short. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for cardiovascular care. Had an EP 9/16/26. I was informed that I needed to make F/U visit after being released from Mclaren. Did on 9/21. Dr. Dali-Ahmad is a great Dr. And I completely trust him for my infectious issues, however the…read moreoffice for Infusion left me feeling unsettled 2 out of my 3 visits. The first visit after two attempts accessing my port despite detailed instructions they went and grabbed someone from the wound care. They did not use sterile procedure and literally did in front of two others with zero privacy. They then proceeded to infuse an antibiotic that was suppose to be infused over 30 minutes in 4 minutes on accident because they didn't alter the flow rate. The second visit entailed watching them connect my antibiotic without even wiping the tubing with an alcohol wipe. Third visit they again accidentally infused the antibiotic in 6 minutes instead of 30 minutes and their response when I brought it up to the front ladies, Well I don't have anything-to do with that, NOT, let me get someone you can talk to. Needless to say, I will not go back for Infusion there...

She is one of the best physicians that my husband and I have encountered - my husband sees her as an oncologist and I see her as a hematologist. She is very knowledgeable in both fields. The staff in her DMC/Karmanos clinic office have been very friendly as well. Unfortunately DMC - Huron Valley management are not nearly as good as the regular staff in both the clinic and the hospital. Billing can be a nightmare and DMC management frequently have inadequate staff scheduled at the hospital. Hospital staff just look at you when you ask, and say they are not allowed to discuss staffing issues. That says a lot. We stay with a DMC facility only because we appreciate Dr. Liebman.
