Went to this place recommended by my primary dr. On June 29,2026. First of all I waited 20 minutes for Chelsea Navarro to see me, when she came into the room she barely looked at my skin problem. I had a skin tag that needed to be removed it was very tiny, but everything Chelsea did and say was making me feel uncomfortable ashamed and disgusting She also kept saying keep the smell away, you smell or you don't want to smell.. I felt so ugly I don't smell but she made me feel like I do.. I'm so upset . She stated if I wanted a cyst removed it would have to be scheduled as a " Surgery " and that insurance will not cover it which I thought was strange. So after she made me feel like I was quasi moto, I scheduled the "surgery " to remove this tiny cyst on my back. After less than 10 minutes in the office she just kept saying don't pop anything don't irritate anything but she never touched me other than to remove 1 tiny skin tag. She made me feel so ugly & disgusting. As I went to pay my $20 co-Pay the desk girl said it's $85 I'm like what for ? She said insurance doesn't cover it! Today I get a bill from trinity health saying they billed my insurance and I owe them money.. then I spoke with BCBS & they informed me that after speaking to Caudill dermatology that they never should have charged me and I have a $60plus dollar credit, and that most drs take your co- pay and bill you for what insurance doesn't cover . I wonder if I hadn't called trinity, BCBS if Caudill dermatology would have let me know that I had a refund coming back or were they just not going to say anything if BCBS hadn't called them? Hmm ? So I hated the way they made me feel, the girls in the office are like perfect little stepford children. Robotic and unfeeling. I'm still looking for a good dermatologist but finally I had to say something especially when going to the dermatologist you have a skin problem so why would they make you feel worse. No transparency about how much procedures may cost. I received 2 bills, one from the dermatologists office for $140 and one from a lab about 5 months later for $440. $580 to get an "irritated mole" removed. The provider that saw me barely spent 5 minutes with me, looked at my mole and immediately said she didn't know what it was and had to remove it and send it to a lab for biopsy. My mom warned me this provider may jump to biopsy as they wanted to do a biopsy of a mole of hers (which another derm said was unneeded) but I was worried about skin cancer so I wanted to ease my mind. I would have NEVER done it knowing it would cost me almost $600. For an "irritated mole"!!! I guess it's my fault for not inquiring about the cost, but I had no idea I would be receiving 2 hefty bills in the mail (1 from the derm, 1 from the lab). Apparently this is in the new patient paperwork they make you sign, but I don't remember reading it. So I am going to call tomorrow to figure out exactly what it says, but needless to say I will not be returning to this dermatologist office ever again. read more

Dr. Caudill is awesome-very personable! VERY CLEAN office, and the ladies behind the desk are super nice. My first appointment was to for her to look at an annoying mole on my scalp...which she froze off that day in office, then sent it out for lab. How easy was that!?? My second appointment was two years later. I seriously felt like my finger was two hand washes away from falling off. Bleeding, cracking, and a little bit of tears -I'd had enough. With samples and a prescription, ease of appointment and care, my hand is now back to normal. (See dermatitis before/after pics) I would recommend this office to anyone!! I highly recommend both Dr Caudill and Dr Kado. I have had nothing but professionalism from both of them and their staff. All of my appointments have been completed in a timely manner. My husband was seen by Dr. Caudill on two occasions, winter of 2019 and first of June 2022. He had a dark brown irregular spot under his left eye. Second appointment was for a similar type spot on the left temple. He was referred to U of M for treatment of melanoma, surgery to remove the melanoma then reconstruction surgery. So she decides the left temple could be biopsied but she didn't think it was melanoma but she went ahead with another biopsy. Pathology of the tissue did indeed indicate another melanoma area of the left temple. Why didn't she see it two years ago? She was asked to look at his back for spots, that cursory exam entailed 3 secs of looking while he moved from chair to table. Neither time did she do a full body skin exam. They did the first time at U of M dermatology. I went to see her for a skin check myself, she asked what I was there for, I had a couple areas of concern, but was never given a skin exam. Two of our adult children went to her and she did a complete body skin exam on them. What's the difference? AGE? Medicare? That is discrimination. Yesterday we had an appointment for second opinion and this dermatologist did a complete exam with a lighted magnifying glass. She found another area on the left neck and did a biopsy. She also expressed concern of discoloration on the low back. ( the reason for a full body exam) We will be having the area of melanoma excised and plastic surgery repair done in Grand Blanc, and not have to travel to Ann Arbor and run all over the hospital to see several practitioners. read more

I don't like having to write about poor customer service, but I was recently shocked at the relative disdain Dr. Caudill's office staff showed toward me related to what I thought was an exhorbitant charge. The business manager called me to explain it, and she admitted she didn't understand it! The lesson here is be very careful. If you are paying anything out of pocket, ask what your procedure will cost (although I got the distinct impression they would prefer not to tell). I guess my earlier positive review came because I only focused on the visit itself. My dealings with the business end of the practice has me moving my family to a new dermatologist. read more

I was referred to Dr. Caudill six years ago by my PCP Dr. Nancy Crossley and what a great recommendation for many reasons. First, Dr. Caudill has great credentials and experience. I find her to be knowledgeable, caring and a no-nonsense type doctor who is professional, yet personable; efficient, thorough and direct; which is the type of doctor I seek out. She tells it like it is and has always been spot on for my issues. I am impressed with her recall of my past issues without looking up my chart. She does not push products or procedures like I have experienced with other dermatologists. She has always been on time and I do not feel rushed when she sees me. I moved to Arizona four years ago and continue seeing Dr. Caudill in Michigan because of the trust and confidence that I have in her examinations, diagnosis and treatments. She consistently explains things in a way that I understand. Her staff is equally as professional and caring. They work with me to accommodate my schedule when I fly in from AZ. Just last year I had to be in MI for two days on short notice and took a chance calling the office to see if Dr Caudill could see me. They squeezed me in at the end of the day due to my circumstances. I also recall one time when I was late for an appointment due to not allowing enough time for the snowy road conditions and they were so understanding, and I was still able to see the doctor. The office is conveniently located with ample parking and the inside is clean, spacious and updated. Thank you for reading my review and acknowledging why I highly recommend Dr. Caudill. p.s. I forgot to add - one of my happiest visits! Last year I talked to Dr. Caudill about a huge age spot on the lower side of my face (near chin) that was bothering me because it kept getting larger and itched! She took out her magic wand and in less than 5 minutes the procedure was over. It turned a little darker, never really scabbed over and within a week it disappeared. Now, 18 months later, it is still completely gone without the slightest trace of ever being there. I am not sure what she did, but it worked! read more

The wait was about a half hour, but once she came in she answered all my questions, did a thorough inspection and addressed of all my concerns and noticed something I didn't. She was very professional, seemed genuinely concerned about my health and explained in detail the reasons for the issues and how to fix it. Total waste of time and money! I came to this office for a skin condition which was never even looked at. Jennifer had her diagnosis before she even walked into the room! She immediately dismissed anything I had to say as ridiculous and that I had nothing serious wrong with me. I received no information or pamphlets on the condition she claimed I did have and only prescribed an anti-itch ointment before walking out of the room. Other dermatologists had me undress and wear a gown so they could do a full body examination. Jennifer never even looked at my skin for longer than 2 seconds and from a distance of about three feet away. She even appeared irritated that I was there and didn't have a pimple for her to pop! I'm done with these wannabe doctor pimple-poppers! It looks like I'll have to make an appointment with a REAL doctor for this skin condition I have! read more

Called to make my yearly ck up appointment and expressed concerns about a suspicious mole. I had to leave a message and was told they would respond promptly. Now a number of days later no response. If this is how they deal with patients, I will be finding another doctor. read more

Agree with an earlier reviewer in that we were treated horribly by the billing dept. and the Office Manager over an exorbitant charge. Rather than admit that it was their habit to write up codes that jacked the fees up, they pushed it off onto the "standard Dermatology guidelines" and they had no choice. There is always a choice to rip someone off. I recently moved here from another state and never had this experience at my old dermatologist. We also waited for quite a while. The Doc was nice but she should have been for what she was charging. read more

Unimpressed. We waited 40 minutes for her to walk in and say less than 40 words in 40 seconds. She didn't ask for a history and her manners were impersonal. Felt like she just trying to make a quick dime. read more
