Very happy with these guys. I had an HVAC issue which another company quoted my $5700 to fix. Clarksville Heating quoted me only $2900 over the phone, but wanted to come over for a visual inspection first. When the technician got here, he said the previous company misdiagnosed the issue, and all I needed was a new capacitor. He fixed it for a total of $335 and it works perfectly now. We have been having problems recently with a 3 unit mini-split install - wall drip & humidity. Ryan (supervisor) inspected and then dispatched an install team (Richard and his assistant) to follow up. While we'll see how the results turn out over time, they were all extremely professional and friendly. Crappy experience so far. They came to do an energy audit. Came. Said they would get the part we needed to fix our unit and have ghosted us. No emails back. No returned calls after several messages. Sadly, not a great experience with Clarksville Heating and Air. I was looking for an estimate on a new system along with a check up of my current one. I used the website and scheduled an appointment for the next day at 10 AM. At 10 30 I had not received any notification other than a generic email confirmation about the appointment. I called the office and was told none of my information was provided and there wasn't an appointment. Somewhat annoyed I set up another appointment to have the yearly inspection. The service tech takes a look at my system and tells me if there's a leak it is toast. Luckily no leak. The visit did seem to be a waste of my time and money and he said "don't put any more money towards this system". At that point he recommended several things I could do to possibly keep it running longer. The next day they send out someone else to do a whole system install consultation. As we're outside I notice all the screws of my outdoor unit are missing. They were there before the first tech visited and now they're not. Of course this makes me think "if they lose my screws on a routine checkup can I trust them with a whole system install?" My install options are sent quickly and I consider them while receiving quotes from other companies. I ask a few follow up questions and after being answered I'm told something along the lines of "you need to hurry up and make a decision." Mind you my system works fine now and just had a few things replaced so I'm not in a great hurry. And I don't appreciate being rushed into a decision. There's a small chance I might use them for my new install but I sort of doubt it. read more

Our aging air conditioning (installed years ago by a now-defunct company) stopped working. That night, I scheduled a service request for the next afternoon and, in the request, told them that our child has health problems. The next day, we received a pre-arrival email and text letting us known who the technician was and when he would arrive. Reynaldo (Ray) Mendoza showed up promptly, already with a mask on -- no need to ask. He did a thorough analysis and diagnosis of the problem. The news was not good, but given the age of our system, it was not unexpected. He discussed in an informed, general way with us the range of options from just repairing the failed part (expensive considering something else in the years-old system could then fail) to replacing the entire HVAC system. He took many photos and was going to write up a report. Later that Friday afternoon, another person at Clarksville left a message and emailed that he would review Ray's report and prepare a list of options and quotes for us by Monday morning. To top off his professionalism, Ray was also very nice! (This was also our experience the first and previous time Clarksville worked on our system in 2022, so kudos to the company for hiring nice people.) read more

Had an expensive service agreement on my heat pumps and until recently on furnace... couple hundred each. But very little is covered under the agreements. Just paid nearly $700 in routine maintenance not covered by the service contract. The contract amounts to paying a fee so that Clarksville has the opportunity to sell you additional services. Better off cold calling HVAC companies for routine service as I'd done previously. A bad deal. read more

I can't speak more highly of the service from Clarksville Heating & Air. After several bad interactions with my previous provider I had enough and used Homeadvisor to find another. To begin with, most HVAC companies won't give you a price for service even if you ask a direct question. Clarksville did. Their price was reasonable for the service provided. Additionally, my technician Darnelle was awesome. He explained my options and talked me though the entire process. Hopefully this gets the guy a raise because it had to have been 200 degrees in my attic. I will definitely use this company again in the future. read more

Don't go with this outfit. Our son spent hours waiting in an empty townhouse for them to show and do a check of the HVAC because he's getting ready to rent it out. They called at the very end of the four-hour window and said it would be another hour (if they showed up at all). That would have put him right in the middle of heavy rush hour traffic. He asked for compensation given their failure to arrive at the agreed upon time, like maybe a reduced rate. They said no. He cancelled and booked another company. Shoddy service with a horrible attitude. Go elsewhere. read more

This company was AMAZING! They were able to come out to diagnose and service our system the day after I called! Marco showed up wearing a mask, had booties to wear, and got right to work! He was so considerate, helpful, and diagnosed our problem immediately! After a couple days of 95 degree weather with no a/c, I am grateful for the professionalism, speed, and accuracy of the service! Marco showed me the part that had the issue, explained the problem to me, made sure I understood, asked me if I had any questions, and took care of it right away! We had a great experience with Clarksville Heating and Air. We scheduled an appointment to check on our furnace, and that process was very smooth. On the day of the appointment, we received a text message when when our service technician (Darnelle) was on his way, which included a photo of the technician so we knew who to expect. Our experience with Darnelle was fantastic. We were very pleased with the fact that we expected the furnace might have a problem, but Darnelle did a thorough assessment and determined our furnace was actually working pretty well, and the problem might be how our home is insulated. Overall, scheduling was easy and our technician was fantastic, and we ended the appointment feeling that we can trust our technician. Our A/C stopped working during the hottest time of the year & I had to find a reliable HVAC service. Mike, the owner, got back to me in less than an hour on what I'm sure was a very busy day & set me up for a service call the next day. Josh came out, inspected our unit & determined that the entire unit had to be replaced. I liked that they actually send you a photo of the person coming to your home, it's obvious that they care about their customers! We had 3 other companies come out & give us a price estimate and in my opinion, Clarksville was hands down the BEST. However, since I wasn't paying for the unit & I don't own the condo (my uncle does), he chose someone else to do the job BUT...I highly recommend these guys! He came out, even though it was late, walked us through our options, made some suggestions on a new HVAC unit and gave us an amazing price. We cancelled our other appointments after talking to him, he is super knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable about our decision. He then helped get our old unit up and temporarily running so we wouldn't be without cold air for the 4 days. His team will install our new unit on Friday!!
