The family business story brought me into the Barrons showroom. We bought an LG stacker washer for…read moreabout $1000 + GST. 4 months later the machine stopped spinning, clothes soaking wet. We got Barrons service, they came three times for a total cost of about $300. In the end they said that the washer was working OK, but they had not tested it under load. They were wrong because it did not work. On the phone Barrons offered me no choices. They wouldn't even take it away and install a new one for pay. Barrons was not obligated to compensate me but they offered no solution. I bought a new one, same model brand new for $1600 + tax, with an automatic 1 year warranty. It was a bad idea to pay $1000 + tax for a used one. Dealing with Barrons was a total loss of over $1300. I'll never deal with them again, to risky. The service was fairly priced and prompt, but the skill level was questionable.
