Absolutely great Shop nice clean cut and the styles are good I'm normally going to hairstylist or hair salons but these guys totally blow them away. Super clean shop with lots of tvs at each station !! Svetlana gives an awesome cut at a reasonable price best I've had since being back in the US! Super friendly as well! My son n and I go here every few weeks. Hopefully not too many people ask for her as a result of this review!! I don't want to have to call compete for an appointment. Dimitri is a great barber. He consistently gives me great haircuts. He takes his time to make sure his angles are precise. Plus, he's funny. He has comments meant to boost your confidence. After bouncing around for years like a ping-pong ball with these various shops that call themselves "barbers" I had forgotten what a great haircut is all about until I went into the CLASSIC barbershop the other day. I sat in the chair of the first barber as you come in and watched the other barbers also. They were extremely meticulous, friendly and so exacting. They didn't rely on a computer to know who was next. No nonsense gimmicks just sheer professionalism. My father who is now 100 years old was a professional barber until he was 95. Rushed through haircut as if the barber had someplace to go. Maybe he did since he spent two minutes on his phone after I sat down in the chair. Barber was sullen and I couldn't wait to leave. The haircut was ok but he asked if I'd like my beard trimmed and he cut it very short before I could stop him. So, I just moved in the area and was looking for a new place to get my hair cut. I gave this place a call and politely introduced myself and asked the woman on the phone whether they did only appointments or walk-ins today. She interrupted me mid-question and answered in a tone acting as if I was some kind of annoying pest. I ignore it and ask their approximate wait time and she laughs at me, says "ugh.. just come in!" *click* Yes, she hung up on me. The phone call lasted all of 20 seconds. I immediately called a different barber shop and took my business to somewhere else. As a suggestion to whoever manages this place, please train the bitter, angry woman who answers your phone to have some basic courtesy because you just lost a potential twice-a-month loyal customer. read more

In the valley of the sun finding a traditional barber who takes pride in their work is hard to find. Today it seems that it's trial and error when trying to find a barber who has that attention to detail that's also up on the latest styles. This place is amazing!!! It's so great that I drive forty five minutes out of the way because I know I will always get what I ask for here. I tried a couple other barbers in the valley but this place has the best staff. It has the old school feel where a man can go shoot the **** and leave with a great cut. Make sure to take the pomade or other hair product out of your hair before you come in. It will make a difference and they will appreciate it. Ask for Michael he is the second chair after you walk through the door. The only drawback is that there is a charge to use your credit/debit card. So plan ahead and bring cash. read more

Terrible experience - took my young adult son here yesterday for a beard trim. After two-minutes with clippers, the barber left my son with an uneven, badly shaped beard and half his mustache cut off. Careless, careless barber. I've always cut my own hair. With a new look I'm growing into, I decided to stop in and have the experts to cut my hair for the first time in years. With previous shops I've always had to return home and fix the sloppy job other barbers did on my hair. Today's experience was great. I was rushed into a vacant chair and began asking what I wanted to do. After explaining my goal, Al (I believe) offered me suggestions and guidance to what I wanted done. My barber took the time to get to know me and had a great conversation on hair cutting skills. Needless to say he did a great job and I did not have to pick up the sheers when I came home to clean anything up! As much as he impressed me, I think I managed to walk away impressing him with the knowledge that I've cut my own hair for close to 10 years. I will surely come back again! read more

Today I went to get a neck trim and cleaned up over my ears. I sat down and the guy was very friendly, when I told him I wanted my neck trimmed and clean up over my ears his demeanor changed. He then asked how I wanted my neck done and I said tapered. He said ok and proceeded to do it, but I could tell he was annoyed. When I went to pay he said I owed 25.00. When I asked why 25.00 he said it was because I asked to have it tapered. I then told him for 25.00 I could have gotten a total hair cut. It was at this point another barber stepped in and told him it was 17.00 for a neck trim. Its too bad I had this experience, I have enjoyed going there. There is another barbershop close to my house I'll use now. read more
