Back in August, I bought a 2023 Ram 1500 SLT (3.6L) from Classic Dodge & Chrysler. When we first arrived, a salesman named Conner greeted us. He seemed genuine and eager to help. He showed us several trucks and promised he could get anything we wanted from their sister stores. When my wife and I mentioned we might keep looking, he got nervous and said his bosses didn't like people walking out -- that he'd get in trouble. Not wanting to make things hard for him, we stayed. Later, when I mentioned going with another dealer, he went to management and came back saying they had a "better truck and better deal." Trusting him and management, I agreed to buy that truck. That's where the problems began. It took two weeks to even receive the truck. When I finally got it, it still had the previous owner's belongings, hadn't been detailed, and had several issues: Broken rear license plate light Missing passenger-side fender well No front plate mount (required in Texas) And later, the electronic braking system failed -- I lost cruise control on a four-hour round trip drive. They agreed to fix these issues after my trip. I brought the truck back as scheduled and didn't get it for three days, but the only thing they fixed was the rear plate light. I've been calling ever since. They keep saying they'll provide a rental car so they can replace the fender well (which they now have in stock) and inspect the electronic braking system -- but no one ever calls back. Every time, it's the same story: "We'll call you when the rental's ready." That call never comes. It's been almost four months, and nothing has been resolved. I've been patient and understanding, but this dealership's lack of communication and accountability is unbelievable. If you're considering buying from Classic Dodge & Chrysler, please get every promise in writing. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting their word. read more

We recently were traveling through area when we had a mechanical issue with our truck. Called the dealership and were told by Greg to come on in. We did and he was waiting for us. They took our vehicle in immediately and analyzed the situation. The parts were ordered. They would have the vehicle overnight so Greg helped us get a hotel and transported us there. The next morning we got a call that our car was done and ready to go. We were picked up at hotel and were back on the road again! We were treated quickly and compassionately by Greg. We can't thank Greg enough for all of his kindness. He made a very stressful situation manageable. Very well run dealership, everyone was helpful and pleasant. Thanks again! read more

I purchased a new jeep grand Cherokee in August 2023 and have never been able to connect with the jeep app. It tells me that my vehicle cannot be found. Apparently no one at the dealership has attempted to contact me to schedule service . My husband purchased another jeep vehicle at another dealership and receives notification from jeep for his service. They tell him that his vehicle is linked to my account but I have not heard anything from them. I don't get any information or emails yet he does. Apparently the issue is with the dealership. We recently had a flat tire on a vacation trip and had to call a wrecker service from out of town because we had no idea that we might have had roadside assistance available. I like my car but I really don't think that the dealership cares about their customers beyond the initial sale. I really wouldn't recommend this dealership, but I have no problem with the vehicle. I probably am going to go back to my previous model of car the next time I purchase a new car. read more

I bought a truck was told by pictures and everything there was no damage on it. After driving at home I realized the bumper and the windshield had some issues with it. I was informed by the seller that it would be repaired. 3 weeks later still broken windshield and part broken with no repairs. My salesperson his name was Seth. They were in a hurry to sell the vehicle they didn't even let me go over it or review it or look at it they were just trying to make me sign papers and get it done and over with. The alignment is bad on the car the wipers are old it needed an oil change within A thousand Miles and they didn't even do the oil change. I was informed this vehicle went through a full inspection. I do not believe that due to the alignment it was dirty still inside trash inside. I asked multiple times for the Carfax was informed that it was not necessary by the manager and would not let me see the Carfax. I purchased it because I liked it. But when I got home I noticed about the window and the front bumper and was asked about it the guy Seth told me that probably the gardener did the bumper and that he would take care of the windshield which it was never taken care of. Taking it on a long drive out of state realize that the wipers are bad on it. And the alignment was off. So they did not do any work to this vehicle I would not recommend them to buy a vehicle at all from them.. read more

They apparently don't employ mechanics, only wrench wankers. They told me to fix my rig they were going to have to throw $10,000 dollars worth of parts at a problem that should have, at most, required draining and refilling a tank. They also charged me over $400 for a wiring job they claimed took 2 hours, that I could have done better in 15 minutes. Don't trust them. read more

Zero stars! Their service department is a joke! Took my truck to get a new module for my amp power steps and was told they had it fixed, opened my door and it was not working. Went back another time for the same issue and they called me while I was checking out other vehicles and was told they had it fixed. Went up to service to get my truck and they said they didn't have the part and wasn't fixed!!! Then I was called and said they had my part in and I said I was only able to go Saturday and they said they would be able to do it; showed up Saturday and they didn't have people to fix it. I brought my Dodge caravan to get a tune up after 100K miles. Wanted plugs and wires changed. Received car back with plugs changed and wires inspected. Two months later get an engine light on for cylinder 2 misfire. Called and dropped the van off, they wanted to charge me again to do a deep dive to find out what the problem was after the had already charged me over 500 dollars two months ago just to change the plugs. This place is a ripoff, they have no service skills and out to get you for as much money as they can make. I would not recommend you spend your money here. read more

Sold me an SUV with a recall they didn't even know about, misrepresented the vehicle online (was listed as Expedition Max not Max Classic) and an SUV with engine issues and as I continued to complain they quit responding to me. I would never recommend purchasing anything from them. I will make it my mission to make sure any place I can review them I will to save anyone the same issues I have had. To say I had a great experience with every person in this dealership would be an understatement. From the front desk to the salespeople to the service department, each person made me feel comfortable, not hurried and above all APPRECIATED, which if we are all honest, is what has been lacking in the car purchase experience. Not only did I get the car I wanted, but my long time Ford supporter husband was so impressed with my encounter with this dealership, he also purchased a vehicle from them as well. I would give zero stars if I could. I only do reviews if the service was extremely good or piss poor. My encounter with this company was the latter. I took my Ram 3500 here because after visiting another company, that was closer to where I lived, multiple times they still couldn't fix the problem I was experiencing nor would they admit that they weren't even sure what the problem was. So instead I got the run around, paid multiple invoices for multiple "problems" that weren't even my initial complaint. I finally decided to take my truck to this dealership in hopes they could resolve the issue, whatever it was. The mechanic at Classic CDJR felt confident enough to send me an invoice of over $3,000 after "fixing" the problem. My husband drove the truck 200 miles just to be sure the problem was in deed fixed and it wasn't. It was still having the EXACT same problem. I'm not sure exactly what these people fixed, but they definitely didn't do their job. On top of that my engine locked up on me and when I called to ask why it was locking up on me they knew exactly why; they said it was due to sludge build up. How is it that they knew it would eventually lock up on me and I didn't know that. Had I known that I would have never picked the truck up from them in the first place! Duh. I would have left it there until everything was good to go. But nope, they told me to come pick it up and never mentioned the sludge build up until my engine locked up on me. They claimed they told me about the sludge build up already but I know for a fact they didn't because if they did, I definitely wouldn't have even felt comfortable driving the truck knowing it was a potential risk. I also went back and looked at the invoice they sent for over $3,000 and there was NO mention of sludge build up. So this was definitely new to us. Of course they took absolutely no accountability for the lack of communication or not fixing or addressing the true issue with the truck. Complete waste of time and money and I've been a customer for YEARS. Never again. In the end, after throwing away $3k with these amateur mechanics they FINALLY told me that I needed a new engine. Instead of just saying that in the first place. But instead they waited until I experienced even MORE problems less than 24 hours after picking my truck up from them. But that's fine, I'll pay for a new engine because now I know that I need one in order for the truck to be functional again, but I refuse to give this this company another single copper penny. I wouldn't dare let them make that type of money off of me because obviously new engines aren't cheap. I'd rather take my money and business elsewhere. I ended up getting my truck towed to Houston, Texas where I hope to get the truck fixed by a more competent mechanic that knows what they're talking about. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. They are not to be trusted and I would definitely recommend choosing a different auto dealer. They falsify information and do just about anything if you have a good down payment to make sure they sell a car for commission but do not make sure you can actually keep the car or are approved before giving out a car. They will "work with you" by lying about the financing for a car because they see a dollar amount and only think of money. Worst experience of my life I will NEVER finance a car through them with or without a co-signer. They lied and made me feel like as a first-time car buyer I would be in good hands. They also falsified my income to the bank which you are NEVER supposed to do AND they are very lazy and weren't willing to help me find a different car to finance with accurate information. I was very honest about my information, and they decided to play around with the numbers without consulting me. They took my down payment and told me I was approved by a bank that I really wasn't approved by only to call me a week later to ask for the car back. I will be getting my down payment back taking my money elsewhere. If I could rate my entire experience, it would be ABSOLUTELY NO STARS, but they get one because yelp won't accept anything less. read more

We were traveling through Texarkana for the holidays and had some issues with our Jeep Renegade. I stopped in to see if they could take a look. At first they told me it would be all day but the service manager, Donny Bond, came by and said "Let's take a look and get this man back on the road!" They helped and didn't even charge us for their time. Super nice people. I rate dealerships by their service department and this one is GREAT! I will travel 2.5 hours from home to shop with them in the future just based on this experience! read more

WORST customer service and information in the service department. We got stranded in Texarkana in route to San Antonio. As a new Dodge Diesel truck owner, and no fuel cap on the tank, my husband put diesel exhaust fluid into the diesel tank. A BIG no no! We had the truck towed to the nearest dealership hoping they could give us the best option on how to fix. We started a claim with our insurance as the truck sat at the shop. After a week, we got friends to bring us home and left the truck behind. We waited for over a week to see if our insurance would cover the cost. The service manager was confident we would not have to pay. He expressed other customers who had DEF in their Diesel tank (either by bad fuel or accidentally putting DEF in the Diesel at the pump) had their insurance cover the cost. We were not lucky enough to have our insurance cover the claim. Needless to say, at the recommendation of the service manager and to keep our warranty valid, we replaced the entire fuel system at a $24K out of pocket cost. We wanted the best for our new truck since we haul horses. And wanted to keep our warranty valid for any future requirements. Now, An hour after picking up our truck and driving home for San Antonio, the check engine light appeared. We got our truck to our local, trustworthy, dealership who gave us the news the codes indicated Fuel Injectors #2, #3, water and fuel errors. Now I am SERIOUSLY questioning what service and replaced parts on our VERY large bill. More to follow when we get the results. This is a HUGE JEERS TO CDJR IN TK across from Academy. So I bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee at the end of Feb 2019. Had the vehicle for 3 weeks and it started running horribly, so I took it in to the service dept. that's when all my problems started. I got there & sat for over two hours while they assessed damage & came back to me saying my brand new vehicle needed a new transmission. I was taken back. A vehicle that had 19 miles on it when I bought it, a vehicle I put $7,000 down on brand new off the lot needed a new transmission? I was at a loss for words. But I agreed to let this service repair take place. They agreed to put me in a rental, which was a good gesture due to my vehicle being less than a month off the lot. So they decided to put me in this horrendous Chevy impala that smells of smoke & had scratches and dents all in it. I was highly irritated by this because here I was buying a "new" car and I was driving a beat up POS. So after driving this car for almost a week. I couldn't do it anymore. I called the lot and complained after checking the status of my Jeep. They agreed to upgrade my loaner to a loaner off the lot & put me in a brand new Jeep almost like mine but a base model. They also informed me my transmission was on backorder. Red flag raised! You know what kind of products are on back order? High demand, ordered a lot products. But I remained calm. Finally I called on a Tuesday and they said "oh your Jeep is done" I asked why I wasn't contacted and all they could say was "that's a good question" so I had the Jeep brought to me because it was the middle of the week and I was at work. I had the vehicle less than a month and the dash goes out, like completely stops working. I took it in, another 2 weeks goes by, another loaner. Then I get it back (oh they were made to replace my o2 sensor since I noticed they had spliced it and taped it back together because they needed it out of the way.) I get it back & less than another month my start/stop system fails which causes the sensor to register the vehicle isn't in park which was flashing on the dash & would sometimes throw itself into park or die while in drive. Took it in, another repair another week gone. I get it back and less than a week of having it back the start/stop malfunctions again. This time I picture it & video it & send it to the service manager as proof. They get it back in the shop and find nothing wrong with it. At this point I'm beyond disappointed that I'm even having to make payments on this POS. So I contact the owners to see if there's any sort of resolution such as rebating my down payment or getting me into another vehicle by having Jeep buy it back, cause there was no way I was going to get trade in value for it now. But the answers I got from Thomas was oh we can try to get it traded in(which would put me under water in debt) but other than that my hands are tied. So I go above him to the man, Greg Orr himself. At first he comes off concerned. Then the answer I get from him his exact words were "sorry your car broke a couple of times" what an asshole, guess my money is what was important. But I will not be taken advantage of. I contacted an attorney about my situation & he agrees that this is not acceptable by no means. There is a lemon law that pertains to me in numerous parts. The vehicle should not have had any issues or be leaking any fluids. The dealership should have been more than willing to do everything in their power to make me happy. The fact that now I am not purchasing a new vehicle but a repaired one that is deemed unsafe and could fail at any time due to the already repaired transmission I feel is completely unsafe for my small child's safety. I really am trying to be patient with this whole car buying problem. But I'm just so done with this Jeep. I've owned it a total of 8 months & driven a total of 9 loaner vehicles while numerous repairs have been done. Different things & some the same things. I have spent every Monday I have off (my only day off) since I bought it either dropping it off at the shop or picking it up. When will they realize this is a lemon! Just put me in another car already. It's unbelievable how many issues this thing has had. A brand new car, needed a new transmission, a new dash touchscreen, a transmission check up, and a start & stop issue twice, AGAIN!! When will my life get easier. So I'm giving a huge jeers to Greg Orr & how unprofessional & most insensitive response for not caring about his customers but only the money. I'm guessing I should have listened when ppl told me not to go to that dealership. I won't settle for this cavalier attitude. I don't recommend anyone go there. One they will knock your head off with their so called "deals" then take your money & treat you like shit, on the customer service end. The service manager has been excellent with trying to help me as much as he can, but he only can do so much, so no blame is on him. But Jeers to you Greg Orr. Shame read more

Zip tie mechanics. Compliments of 'Classic Chrysler Dodge Jeep' in Texarkana. I had work done there 2 years ago because a hose was pushing into my fan which caused a hole to burn into it. To replace the hose they had to remove the radiator (common for a VW). HOWEVER, I just found out they used a ZIP TIE instead of a bolt to secure my radiator. I found this out after my car started making a buzzing noise recently. The radiator, condenser, and cooling fans were slipping and rubbing the intake pipe. North Point VW (in Little Rock, AR) remounted everything properly. Unfortunately it cost $400 to redo what 'Classic Chrysler Dodge Jeep' did (they charged me $455 for their "work"). I am a 100% service connected disabled vet . I bought a New Jeep Renegade From Classic. They made a copy of my divers license and misplaced them. No big deal an easy thing to fix. I made two trips to dealer along with several calls to locate license. After 10 days I called up I asked if they would be willing just to send me a 100 dollar gift card from wal mart to make up for the trouble and loss. I was treated like dirt. The receptionist made a comment to the effect that I was stupid for leaving dealership without first checking. So I ask to speak to general manager. I start to report this and he gets irate saying she would never do that. He starts saying things like listen up buddy real tacky stuff. I tell him that well I guess Ill put a sign on new car. He then says I am making threats and that I am no longer a customer. So if this is customer service when they make mistake how could anyone trust this dealership to stand behind real problems. read more
