I have found my barber shop. I cannot say enough good things about this barber shop. I had a haircut and a hot towel shave. My haircut is high and tight, Celeste took her time and got everything right. Moving on to the shave... look boys, you deserve this. I have been shaving my mug for over 40 years. I'll give a plug for getting yourself a safety razor, shaving brush, soap or cream, and aftershave. If you go there you'll save some $ and wind up with a better shave. But you will also learn something. About your face and whiskers, which direction to attack it from, what your skin feels like when you've figured these factors out. Whether or not you fall down that rabbit hole or not I believe you'll know when a stylist/barber is taking their time to figure out how your hair grows and how best to cut it. 100% +++ that just happened for me here. Celeste listened, and then executed a terrific haircut. She then went on to give me a hot towel shave that simply made me sigh in comfort and I know I won't need to shave for a couple days. Do yourself a favor and succumb to it. Outside of my shave/haircut I will say that the shop is clean and welcoming, the staff are warm and professional, I waited 2 minutes as a walk-in (no idea if this is the norm). Basically an all around terrific experience and I don't see myself going anywhere else for a haircut ever again. I paid a few bucks more than I would have for a haircut at "Great Clips" but it was so worth it. New customer for life. read more

I absolutely love this place. I'd been having Phil Marquez cut my hair for around 15 years until he passed away suddenly. What a great guy and he will be missed! No reservations accepted here and signed in 3rd in line. After the two in front of me were called up, I knew I was up next. I was passed over 3 more times. Waiting patiently and watching several people arrive, sign in and get called up before you is puzzling. No one spoke to me or made any effort to tell me what was going on. After sitting in there for an hour, I left on principle and won't be back. I'd recommend going somewhere else that is more organized,to spend $30 on a cut. read more

Our experience was great! Our first time here. Steph (Stephanie) was wonderful. She cut my husband's hair with great care and had good suggestions for him. My husband enjoyed talking to her and his hair looked wonderful when we were done. We definitely will be going back. They treated us with care and respect. We felt right at home. Thanks to a fellow Yelper's review, I gave these guys a chance. I am quite satisfied with my haircut and the service I received. They have a modest, friendly shop, located off the main road in Arvada in a small local shopping center. It's definitely a barbershop not a salon or boutique, and exactly what I've been searching for. I recently moved to Colorado from Hawaii for work and it's been hard to find a decent barber shop that just cuts men's hair. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the guys all nice mellow crew they got working there. I didn't call for an appointment and just walked in. One of the owners said hey man you're next and immediately welcomed me and introduced himself and shook my hand. Gustave was his name and he did a great job. I just needed a simple trim on top and a really good fade on the sides and back. He did just that, they all have great personalities and are friendly there. I also got a neck shave/trim and neck massage after my cut. Very good and fast service, will definitely recommend and be a regular customer from now on. On a side note, I went between 1-2pm and it wasn't that crowded. They have a nice row of chairs and seats and a large couch to wait on. The shop decor is very cool and definitely has a lot of Colorado sports memorabilia and love for the state and area. These guys are great. It's a real "guys" barber shop. I typically get a cut and beard trim. They clean you up with a straight razor and I always walk out happy with my look. My wife loves the way they cut my hair. I'll keep going back! One note, they only accept cash. There is an ATM at the shop if you need it though. Very highly recommended! read more

Great people. Good cookies. But asked for a flat top and the owner who is really nice rounded the top and had nothing close to a flat top. That was in Feb. 2018. Maybe things are different Their were several people ahead of me so I was able to see the barbers doing different cuts they all seem somewhat similar rounded rather than the definite statement an old-school cut looks like what is now considered and called the Gentlemans cut. It's a basic barbershop with very basic cuts nothing very stylish. You definitely can't beat the price but my thought is you get what you pay for I might be a little more particular than most but that's my take and it seems like everyone else is happy with them. read more

Just stopped into this place for a cut with my son. Riley did and excellent job with my hair and the man that cut my son's hair did a fantastic job too. We rolled up on new years eve, signed in, and were getting a haircut in under 10 minutes- not bad for these covid riddled times. I asked for a mid fade and Eli got a trim on the top with a skin fade on the sides and back. Both haircuts were quick and reasonably priced.
