I think this is one of the only shops with a "verified" blue checkmark ensuring that not only the shop, but also that all of the barbers are licensed in this shop. Haircut, clean-up, beard trim, or a full on straight razor shave tried and true is gonna take care of you. I found this place. After my old barber chuck retired and then passed away soon after. It took me a couple of years to find this place so don't waste your time just get your haircut here. Cozy Star Wars man cave vibe.

However, the last time that I was there (during normal business hours) a sign had been left on the door reading, "Bank". That was it, no times given on when they would be back, nothing. No biggie, I'll just wait. I understand that this thing can happen--I'm a reasonable guy and have been in that same scenario before. A business card had been taped to the window next to the sign, so I called it. Went straight to voicemail. After an hour of waiting I was fed up. Other customers were waiting even longer than I had been--showing just how long the staff had been gone (at least an hour and a half when I left). Exasperated and untrimmed, I left. The true disappointment was not in being left high and dry, but in the staff's response to this treatment. When I voiced (politely) my displeasure at how I was treated, I was given the crude reply "Shit happens". Well, shit may happen but it also comes around.

A couple of look and style specifics and got to work. So much attention to detail. Clean crisp lines. He really took the time to cut my hair and I didn't feel rushed or like he was just trying to knock out appointments quickly. Respect. Five stars for customer service and attention to detail. Four stars for vibes and ambiance. I dig it but obviously a more lively barbershop is the goal. I think when people catch on this place will always be popping. They recently had a grand opening but have been open for a month plus. Debating keeping my hair short as I have lately or growing out my hair again. "Fastest Barber in the West". Scott is amazing. You seldom wait but a few minutes at most. Your cut will be short and sweet and neat!!!! He spins, he clips, he shaves, and before you blink you are done and, on your way. Good as new. I have been going to Scott since 2018 when I moved to Colorado. My son got his very first haircut with Scott and we never went anywhere else since. Scott has a great personality and is always kind. His shop has that old timey look with tons of muscle cars pics and haircut photos. Nice central location too. We live in Brighton now, but we still drive the 30 minutes to see Scott once a month. His prices are very reasonable too, so bring cash, and don't forget to tip. read more

Not sure what the other gent got when stepping into Scott's. I live in south Lakewood, and continue to drive all the way to Scott's as I first met him in the 1990's at his Wheat Ridge location. Very friendly, very polite to speak to, and he did a GREAT job taking care of my boys as he cut their hair. I would recommend (and HAVE) Scott to my best friends, and anyone needing a HAIRCUT - no fancy salon, no "how would you like that styled" crap. A good ole'fashioned haircut with a razor shave!!
