I'm gonna start out by saying that this place never fails. The staff is amazing. The ambience is incredible pool table dartboard arcade games everything's here. They have a great staff have outside seating. There's nothing that you could want that you won't find here! Oh yeah and did I mention the very dog friendly. Bring your puppy they'll bring you a bowl of water up. They're good for dogs too. They pay attention to such small detail as they have hooks under the bar for the ladies purses! As you can tell about my photos, I bring all of my family friends and even customers here. Everybody's super nice. They made it through the pandemic and the owners incredible! They also have live music, which I forgot to talk about. Their specials are always super good. They have a great amount of drinks on the bar tap I always have the wings. I'm not gonna lie but I gotta tell you that I've seen other things come out for everybody else that I brought, and nothing has ever fail . I've never heard anybody say that wasn't very good. So about the wings super tender meat comes right off the bone. The Buffalo flavor uses incredibly good! As an appetizer, I've also had their bacon cheddar cheddar tots and I definitely recommend those! You'll see pictures of those in my photos my grandkids like hotdogs we've had chili burgers here. Everything has been incredible but one thing that I really want to tell you you must try the black and blue burger. My oldest son has that when he's here. It's nice to get away from the downtown area. It's in the Y. Definitely a comfortable fun very chill place to come. Have a great meal. Oh yeah, I'm in here a lot so you see me say hi! Enjoy yourself I know I do

This is HALF of the order, we split. Delicious

A hidden gem! Patio seating available. Huge portions of amazing sandwiches and burgers. They have some great tots and crispy onions. Can't wait to return.

Met up with my great friend and fellow Yelper, Spencer T. Classic Cue is a go-to for him in South Lake. I can't say enough about this place. I'm a fan of dive bars. I find them a heck of a lot more interesting than upscale snobby places that have been popping up more and more regularly. This place had an ultimate combination of dive bar, great comfort food, pool hall, small music venue, and TVs to watch sports if you're inclined. It had all my favorite things! The service was spectacular! Really friendly service, attentive and fast Now about the food: the fish sandwich was perfectly prepared with a soft roll, just enough tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a perfectly fried cod fillet that was fresh and tender. The loaded tots with bacon and cheddar were addicting. Oh and I can't forget to mention the ice cold 805 beer on tap. So good! I'm sad but happy that this place is a longish drive for me because I probably would spend all my time there!

Food is always amazing but they just never get my order correct. I always have the same issue every time I get here. I ask for the blackened chicken sandwich and he brought me a buffalo sandwich, then he took it back to the kitchen and brought me the blue bird sandwich, I asked for the blackened chicken sandwich... the food is great but they always get my order wrong.. other that everything else is great.

The fish tacos were so delicious !!!

The bartender (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I did) was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. We showed up dressed as Pitbull and his security so we definitely stood out, but she loved it and celebrated us and my sister. She made us feel welcomed and made it as fun of an experience as possible by trying to play a Pitbull song for us, but someone else skipped it. She gave us the last of the Jell-O shots which we greatly appreciated. She also invited us to return the next day to play Bingo at 3pm, but we couldn't make it. There's a music system (like a jukebox) where you can pay for songs you'd like to listen to. We paid for some songs that were more upbeat than the music that was playing when we arrived and it didn't seem to be well received by some of the other patrons. Others have the option to skip your songs (even though you pay for them). I personally had a blast and had great interactions with others in the bar, but others in my group had experiences that made them feel unwelcome by people in the bar so I deducted a couple stars from my review since it didn't seem to be inclusive. My sister was in the bathroom and overheard others saying negative things about our group so we called it a night shortly after that happened. I wish this place was a little more inclusive, but I would return just to visit with our bartender who was so welcoming to our group.

I had the Gambler Steak Burger with garlic parmesan fries. My brother got the Blackened Salmon Ceasar Salad. I was surprised when the waiter said "good choice the salmon here is delicious". They have wild caught king salmon delivered twice a week. We split our food. The salmon was as good or better than any piece of salmon I have ever had. It melted in your mouth. My burger was cooked medium to perfection. Super juicey and delicious. Among the best burgers I have ever had no joke; they grind their own meat. The hand cut fries were really good too. Service is friendly and attentive. Great beer selection and plenty of TVs to catch the game you are after. We liked it so much that we went back and ordered the same dishes the next day and they were perfect again. They passed the consistency test. Yes two days in a row; thats how good it was. I looked at the bad reviews and it must have been off days for those bad experiences.

However, the burgers were just okay. We tried the Silver and the one with grilled onions and thousand island, but they didn't quite stand out. The island-style mocktail we ordered, on the other hand, was delicious. As for the tater tots, they were mediocre--a bit greasy and unseasoned even though we asked for Cajun (they just handed us the seasoning on the side instead of tossing them in it). If only 3.5 stars was an option. Good wings and drinks, but the rest was just average.

The restaurant and bar would often be packed, yet it seemed like only a couple of employees were working, including the bartender. We'd sometimes wait 20 minutes before anyone greeted us, another 30 minutes for food, and then another long wait to check on us or bring the bill. What should have been a quick dinner often turned into a 1.5-hour visit, so eventually we stopped coming. When we heard there were new owners, we decided to give it another try and hoped things had improved. The menu has changed, but thankfully they still had the spinach artichoke pasta, so of course we ordered it along with a few new items to share. Service started off well--we were greeted quickly and got water right away--but since we weren't ready to order, it took about 15 minutes before the server returned. The food came out fairly quickly, but we were missing several things we needed, including salad dressing, sauces, and even salt and pepper. Unfortunately, the pasta noodles were quite soggy this time, which was disappointing considering it used to be our favorite dish. The nachos were okay but lacked flavor. The beer cheese was definitely the highlight and helped save the dish. It took about 20 minutes before someone checked back on us and brought the missing items, so we ended up waiting before we could really enjoy our meal. I want to be clear that our server was very kind throughout the entire visit. The issue didn't seem to be the staff themselves, but rather that they appeared to be handling too many tables without enough support. One other small thing that stood out was the atmosphere on the upstairs deck. The outdoor speakers were playing the audio from a basketball game that was on inside, but there wasn't a TV visible from where we were sitting outside. It felt a little odd listening to game commentary without being able to watch the game, and some background music would have made for a much more enjoyable experience. We really wanted this visit to change our minds, but sadly it will probably be our last meal here. We might stop by for a drink on the upstairs deck, which is still a great spot to relax, but we likely won't be back for dinner.

I have ordered a similar dish elsewhere. It should be a hint of the glaze to enhance the flavor, not have the consistency of the congealed fat when you take a leftover cooked chicken from the refrigerator. Ended up having an upset stomach well into the middle of the night....and I rarely have a reaction to food. The ambiance and the wait staff were pleasant, it was a beautiful sunset, and my wife's meal was okay, but it ruined our romantic evening out.

I ordered a drink for $22 that tasted good, but overall, the drinks here are just way too expensive for what you get. They also had live music playing during our visit; it was good lounge background music that added a nice vibe to the room, but it wasn't anything spectacular or something to get overly excited about. It's a cool spot to check out for the ambiance, but the high drink prices keep it at a flat three stars for me.
