We passed someone on the trail who told us this was the best burger in town! We checked it out and they were not wrong! We will definitely be back next time we're in town. Our server was wonderful and i highly recommend the Alaskan Amber they have on draft. I added the side salad instead of fries and it was worth it! This place is really nice to get together with friends and play billiards. The staff here is very friendly and I had a great experience. While playing billiards, I had ordered the Cajun fries; however, I did not try any of the other food. I'm gonna start out by saying that this place never fails. The staff is amazing. The ambience is incredible pool table dartboard arcade games everything's here. They have a great staff have outside seating. There's nothing that you could want that you won't find here! Oh yeah and did I mention the very dog friendly. Bring your puppy they'll bring you a bowl of water up. They're good for dogs too. They pay attention to such small detail as they have hooks under the bar for the ladies purses! As you can tell about my photos, I bring all of my family friends and even customers here. Everybody's super nice. They made it through the pandemic and the owners incredible! They also have live music, which I forgot to talk about. Their specials are always super good. They have a great amount of drinks on the bar tap I always have the wings. I'm not gonna lie but I gotta tell you that I've seen other things come out for everybody else that I brought, and nothing has ever fail . I've never heard anybody say that wasn't very good. So about the wings super tender meat comes right off the bone. The Buffalo flavor uses incredibly good! As an appetizer, I've also had their bacon cheddar cheddar tots and I definitely recommend those! You'll see pictures of those in my photos my grandkids like hotdogs we've had chili burgers here. Everything has been incredible but one thing that I really want to tell you you must try the black and blue burger. My oldest son has that when he's here. Was here visiting Tahoe area, and looking for a bar with good vibes, snacky-poos, and to play some pool. I decided to come here based off of the reviews which unfortunately were deceiving. It costs $15.00 for an hour to play pool, the bar tender was lit so much he confused our drinks and our cash out with another couple across the room, and food selection was overpriced for the menu options. We grabbed a beer and left. It might be better other days, this was a Thursday night, but I would not recommend to my friend or family coming to this are. read more

This was the place...however the girl bartender was by far the rudest employee I've ever encountered in an establishment. For what I had the rating is a two. I ordered the vegie burger and the supposedly home made potato salad. The burger was over done which made it chewy and the potato salad had the texture and tasted just like Reser's potato salad, leading me to believe it was not home made. It's been awhile, but it's hard to beat this place. The wife loves the fish tacos and I have never had a bad bacon cheeseburger. Always fresh, good size portions and great value. Met up with my great friend and fellow Yelper, Spencer T. Classic Cue is a go-to for him in South Lake. I can't say enough about this place. I'm a fan of dive bars. I find them a heck of a lot more interesting than upscale snobby places that have been popping up more and more regularly. This place had an ultimate combination of dive bar, great comfort food, pool hall, small music venue, and TVs to watch sports if you're inclined. It had all my favorite things! The service was spectacular! Really friendly service, attentive and fast Now about the food: the fish sandwich was perfectly prepared with a soft roll, just enough tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a perfectly fried cod fillet that was fresh and tender. The loaded tots with bacon and cheddar were addicting. Oh and I can't forget to mention the ice cold 805 beer on tap. So good! This is an awesome place to hang out, get a few drinks, and chill. The parking is horrible and it's pretty small inside, so if you go on a weekend to play pool plan on being on the wait list for a bit. Classic cue was good until one of the patrons decided to touch my girlfriend's nipple at the bar without consent. The bartender purposely had his back turned during the entire incident, including our verbal altercation that occurred after the patron attempted a second nipple touch. I've been coming to this bar for years now, and love stopping in for a quick drink or game of pool. The last couple of visits (this winter and last) we arrived for karaoke! They have a wonderful group of singers in there (some better than others) and my boyfriend even gets up and sings, which is amazing too.
