The vibe here felt very chill & local. Everyone was welcoming. Learned how to play pool. Me & my friend enjoyed. They definitely have whiskey here & other options.

Came to Whiskey Dick's on a Sunday night during a visit from Sacramento. I will start by saying I loved the bartender, a guy rocking a yellow hoodie who was so cool & appreciated my music selection on the AMI jukebox. I will admit, I would come to whiskey dick's every single day just for that jukebox! The prices on drinks are fair and the pool tables are in good condition. The bathroom is pretty nasty however. I think it is a good local spot to hangout, but definitely not a tourist attraction! They are also pet friendly which is fun. If they sold merchandise, I would definitely rock it!

Your local dive bar with a pool table and a shuffle board set up. Bartenders are nice and beers are cold. Not much else to say!

We had such an amazing time this past Saturday, but that's mainly because the event performers were…read moreincredible musicians, vocalists, and entertainers... the South Shore Room wasn't really special. It's a smaller venue, so no stadium seating, every few rows are elevated, but if you're in the back end of that "few" and have someone tall in front of you, you may be out of luck. There are cupholders attached to each seat, so that's a plus, I guess. There are two bars in the concert show room, one on each side of the stage, but they have very limited drink options. The bartender even said they were basic and that we'd find more options at the bar in the casino right outside the venue (as it's located inside Harrah's). The cocktails they made us were not good, probably because they just put together the best concoctions they could with the limited ingredients they had. The entry to the event before the show wasn't very organized. A line started forming and extended into the casino slot machine area, and a worker tried to get the entire line to move to the other side (we wondered why they didn't organize this to begin with). With all of the venue's shortcomings, the PMJ tour was the saving grace to our experience. Postmodern Jukebox was like a dream, and the sound quality and lighting were perfect throughout the show. The performance was filled with so much talent on stage, a bit of comedy, Gunhild Carling's magic on various instruments, lots of tap dancing to go beautifully with the unique renditions of songs, and a little bit of striptease too. Just so much energy and effort from the entire band to create an extraordinary concert for the audience. We certainly had a memorable experience, and at least the South Shore Room had a somewhat intimate setting to add a nice touch.

I got my ticket for the wrong day, 29th, not 31st, and they were so kind to let me in still!!! I almost cried when I realized I ordered the wrong ticket. The staff is amazing and kind. All the people in staff coats were welcoming. The whole community is kinda like that. I hit up all the stages, and the back stage with the square lights was my favorite, for edm music. The tent was also cool. Main stage was too main line music for my taste. The food, go to the pizza place. That's the best place there. They really understand the culture and are the kindest, tastiest food place!! Other things to note, battery pack for cell phones, also you won't have service due to how many people are there. Battery pack is needed for photos! I missed pics of the rainbow igloo! Everything's paid credit card, and you can check in and out with your wristband by tapping on the screen at the exit. I highly recommend this place!

NO HEATERS !!!! no on-site meet and greet with artists, no daily food tasting of on-site vendors, only VIP amenity we got was access to was VIP bathrooms and the bar after 7pm..which wasn't anything big since bathrooms and bars around the venue were pretty clear since attendees on day 1 were very limited. Day 2: express VIP enterance did not exist. GA line covered entire enterance making it difficult to go through. There was no security and no snowglobe employee to delegate the chaos. outside heaters installed but indoor heaters were not installed until after 7pm offered food tasting but not from on-site vendor. served plain Mac and cheese and some sort of sweet potato dish with corn flakes. I didn't see any vendors offering these items on the first or second day of the festival. it was pretty gross. no meet and greet with artist still feeling ripped off from day 1 and day 2. Day 3: arrived late to avoid lines to enterance heaters inside finally installed and working, however outdoor heaters failing - need more fuel and no one refilled them for entire day. snowglobe attempt to compensate horrible experience with fanny pack survival kit. it looked cool but I personally didn't need a fanny pack or anything inside of it (since I brought my own lighter, chap stick, tissues, gloves, etc. with me already. all I really wanted were the things I was promised when purchasing a VIP ticket! I am a veteran music festival attendee, and I've never experience such a disorganized and terrible lack of planning. I seriously want my money back! this is not okay.

The atmosphere itself is on the smaller side, but it fits the cozy, hidden speakeasy vibe perfectly. That being said, the pricing is a bit tough to swallow. I ordered a drink for $22 that tasted good, but overall, the drinks here are just way too expensive for what you get. They also had live music playing during our visit; it was good lounge background music that added a nice vibe to the room, but it wasn't anything spectacular or something to get overly excited about. It's a cool spot to check out for the ambiance, but the high drink prices keep it at a flat three stars for me.
