The vibe here felt very chill & local. Everyone was welcoming. Learned how to play pool. Me & my friend enjoyed. They definitely have whiskey here & other options.

Service friendly, bartender HOT like a little pastrami sandwich type. Well drinks on late night happy hour is good. Good karaoke too people are into it.

Came to Whiskey Dick's on a Sunday night during a visit from Sacramento. I will start by saying I loved the bartender, a guy rocking a yellow hoodie who was so cool & appreciated my music selection on the AMI jukebox. I will admit, I would come to whiskey dick's every single day just for that jukebox! The prices on drinks are fair and the pool tables are in good condition. The bathroom is pretty nasty however. I think it is a good local spot to hangout, but definitely not a tourist attraction! They are also pet friendly which is fun. If they sold merchandise, I would definitely rock it!

Your local dive bar with a pool table and a shuffle board set up. Bartenders are nice and beers are cold. Not much else to say!

Great shows. You will get in a fight here. If you don't fight you will likely get choked out. Oh yea. You will get a DUI on the way home.

The interior is dimly lit, calm, and still very inviting--something you really have to experience in person. The drinks and mocktails are so well crafted that it's almost shocking--you take a sip, then look back at the menu like, "Wait... that's all it cost?" and then back at the bartender like, "Hold on... you made this perfectly for me?" We sat at the bar top and, like everyone else, got caught up in our phones trying to post everything in real time. But Amanda, who was making our drinks, could spark a conversation out of thin air. She was a total pro at keeping us engaged and enjoying our time, all while making drinks and taking care of everyone else around us.

The standout of…read morethe night was definitely Amanda the mixologist--she was absolutely great, incredibly fun to talk to, and an overall delight to be around while making our drinks. The atmosphere itself is on the smaller side, but it fits the cozy, hidden speakeasy vibe perfectly. That being said, the pricing is a bit tough to swallow. I ordered a drink for $22 that tasted good, but overall, the drinks here are just way too expensive for what you get. They also had live music playing during our visit; it was good lounge background music that added a nice vibe to the room, but it wasn't anything spectacular or something to get overly excited about. It's a cool spot to check out for the ambiance, but the high drink prices keep it at a flat three stars for me.

It was our first…read moretime in the area and it seemed to have great reviews so we were excited to check it out for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The bartender (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I did) was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. We showed up dressed as Pitbull and his security so we definitely stood out, but she loved it and celebrated us and my sister. She made us feel welcomed and made it as fun of an experience as possible by trying to play a Pitbull song for us, but someone else skipped it. She gave us the last of the Jell-O shots which we greatly appreciated. She also invited us to return the next day to play Bingo at 3pm, but we couldn't make it. There's a music system (like a jukebox) where you can pay for songs you'd like to listen to. We paid for some songs that were more upbeat than the music that was playing when we arrived and it didn't seem to be well received by some of the other patrons. Others have the option to skip your songs (even though you pay for them). I personally had a blast and had great interactions with others in the bar, but others in my group had experiences that made them feel unwelcome by people in the bar so I deducted a couple stars from my review since it didn't seem to be inclusive. My sister was in the bathroom and overheard others saying negative things about our group so we called it a night shortly after that happened. I wish this place was a little more inclusive, but I would return just to visit with our bartender who was so welcoming to our group.

He mentioned they had an outdoor firepit and thought I would like it. When we were deciding on dinner, I said we should finally check it out. We walked in and sat ourselves at a high top. It's a combo of go up to the cash register and order plus a server will come and help you out while they deliver the food. Overall food wise, I thought everything was fine. The dip was cheesy. The peppers a little too salty. The salad fulfilled that green craving tho I found the dressing and cheese a lil too heavy handed. And the soup was the comfort I needed on a cold day. I found the fish to be a little heavier in batter than I prefer, but I like most things very lightly battered. The cocktail I got was nice. Balanced and refreshing. Their sangria was on tap, so they just filled up the glass. I did enjoy going outside after we were done eating to hang out around the firepit. Ran into another party of people and we chatted for a bit. We actually brought our drinks outside to enjoy as It was quite chilly that evening. Food was fine. Cocktails were nice. Definitely would go back for the outdoor firepit. REVIEW #3970

I don't know her name but the female bartender is so nice and very informative, if you have any questions about food or drink options she is the go to gal. I believe they have just recently added close up magic in the dinning area and the show the gentleman, James Mako, put on was very entertaining and unique.
