The burger and fries were delicious and it was the perfect first lunch in Melbourne! My husband and I returned 4 times during our trip and loved everything we had! The funniest thing to me is that my husband asked them the origin of the name of the shop and discovered that it had NOTHING to do with Lord of the Flies! Rather, the owner of the shop loved Lord of the Ring and so that is where the inspiration was derived. I almost subtracted one star for the missed opportunity - Lord of the Onion Rings (kidding!). This place was great and everything seemed to be made to order. It took about 5 min or less to get my food, which gave me plenty of time to people watch at Flinders Station!

However the serves were all that huge, which was a little disappointing. Still, the meal was pretty cool, and the service was quite nice as well. Don't expect anything all that flash, and certainly don't expect the authentic Indian feel either. However, the type of Indian restaurant I like is one that does a good curry, and one that does goat, and this certainly delivers on that. The problem is that since it is in Hawthorn, and that there is another one next door, I'm not likely to be running back here too quickly.
