There was a problem getting a permit because there was no survey for my property. By the time I got the survey done and got the permit it was winter. Mark had told me he couldn't do the fence when the ground was frozen so I waited until April to contact him. Well, it is now October. I still have no fence. Mark has promised to be here so many times I have lost count. I posted a review here in August of this year. He swore if I took it down he would have my fence done by Wednesday. ... still no fence. I took him to small claims court and have a judgement against him for my $1900 deposit plus court costs. I'll probably never see my money. Beware of this company!!!

So the fact that his price was right made it that much better. Mark is very easy to work with, and he does quality work. We had a small situation arise where he mis-measured the amount of fencing needed in one part of our yard. Once he realized this, he ordered the correct amount, and he ate the cost difference. This shows how much he stands by his work. We love our new aluminum fence, as dour our dog who now can enjoy running around his new space. I would recommend Mark to anyone who asks.

I hired Mayan Construction for a landscaping project that involved removing an old patio and then…read moreinstalling pavers. There was also a retaining wall that needed to be removed and replaced. For the first 90% of the job I'd say they did a decent job. The problem was with the finishing details. It's almost as if they finished 98% of the work and then didn't show to complete the rest of it. I asked them to return to my house and was told by Bryan that they would come back, but I never saw them again. I'm talking like a day of work to complete this stuff, if that. They left multiple pieces of rebar sticking out of concrete. I have kids and the last thing I want is for them to get hurt on sharp pieces of rebar. I also don't have the tools to cut the rebar myself. They had a sub come by and replace our aluminum gutters. There was one downspout that connected to an ugly piece of pvc pipe for drainage. I asked them to come back and remove the pvc pipe to make it look cleaner. They said they'd come back, but never did. I asked them to come back and fill in gaps that were left between the pavers, but again nothing was done. There was a sewer clean out that was left protruding above the paver patio too. I don't think I'd hire this company again to do any construction work at my house.
