I ordered an aluminum fence to enclose our inground pool and contacted Mr. Fence for the job. Initially, they measured the property using Google Earth but said they'd need to confirm with an on-site measurement. Two weeks later, the owner came by and verified the measurements, which matched the original estimate. The installation team arrived promptly and worked efficiently. However, during the process, they discovered the measurements were off by two feet, requiring an additional post. Despite the hiccup, the crew did an excellent job--they even touched up minor scratches with paint. Once the job was complete, I was told the owner wanted to speak with me about the added cost for the extra post. I reminded them that the measurements had been done twice and the contract was already signed. I didn't feel it was fair to be charged more due to their own measuring error, so I declined to pay the additional fee. That said, I gave the installation team a generous tip for their hard work. In conclusion, while Mr. Fence delivered excellent craftsmanship and the crew was top-notch, the owner and management fell short in honoring the agreed-upon contract terms. read more

Very happy with Mr fence product and installation. I shop around for multiple quotes and vinyl fence products but Mr fence quote and product was the best. Mr fence product was thicker and stronger than the others. His hardware ( hinges And door handles ) were heavier and stronger than the others. His installation crew was prompt and professional and made some suggestions on the process which made the fence look better than the original fence placement. The crew work through lunch and completed the job in one day . They arrived at 8 am and done with complete cleanup by 5pm. Owner came out and went over everything with me. Answered all my questions and was very friendly and helpful. Easy to communicate with. Explained warranty and installation process. BUYER BEWARE!!! Mr. Fence is a complete scam. He will come to your house and sell you a bag of goods and then not follow through on his word or stand behind his work. He is way overpriced and will be nowhere to be found once he gets your money. He is your best friend before the sale and becomes your biggest nightmare after the poor quality of work is "completed". There are plenty of other companies out there that does not have to convince you how great they are before you sign a contract. As a single mother of 3, he really took advantage of me and my situation and I hope others will be smarter then I was before handing over thousands of dollars. There are many other companies who can do the same quality work that I will feel better about giving the job to. We went to Mr. Fence on Saturday April 23 2022 to get info concerning fencing. The owner Daniel educated me and my wife about products ( longevity, maintenance free, quality, etc..) . After we talked for about 30 minutes, Daniel said he wasn't busy and asked our address. He met us at our home in 15 minutes. He measured our property and gave us our options with no salesman pressure. My concern was the quality of the materials as we decided to go with aluminum fencing. We were happy to hear their product was in stock and American made. My wife and I went back on Monday April 25th to iron out some concerns as to when the fencing can be installed and who the company they used to install. We were excited to hear that it would be one day installation on May 3 rd 2022 and his installers were with him for numerous years. On Tuesday May 3rd, the installers came at 8:30am. We met Dominquez and his team. They were extremely polite, efficient, and made sure we were involved in any decision making capacities. The cleanup was perfect and they were done by 6:30 pm. If I could give less than 1 star I would. They took 6 weeks....yes, 6 whole weeks, to make a 5 foot chain link gate. I understand how larger projects may take priority, but it really should take that long. We were installing ourselves, all they needed to do was put it together and we would pick it up. My father passed away in January, so my mom is recently widowed and needs a landscaper to cut our yard. Our existing gates were too small for any landscaper to get in the backyard. I live too far away to be able to help her every time it needs to be cut. We called them several times, and they just kept saying they would put a sign on the gate to have it finished. They used that excuse more than once. What a pathetic excuse for a business. If we ever need anything fencing related ever again, we will take our business elsewhere. read more

Mr. Fence and Dan Sr. installed a fence at my home in Venezia Drive in Monroe, NJ, I selected Mr. Fence because they were the only company out of the 3 that I received quotes from who committed to doing our posts to certain depth, which was a strong criteria for my job. As a plus they were the lowest quote I received, but this was not the the reason I selected them for the job. During the installation there were two issues i identified during the installation that I brought to Dan's attention. He quickly remedied the issues with those installing the fence. 2 months now and no issues with the fence or the installation. Very happy with the job. I highly recommend doing business with this company as my experience has shown that they fully meet their commitments in a timely and professional manner. The installation team was extremely skilled and professional as well. They were very careful to meet my requirements for zoning and placement of the fence and were very careful to make a very minimal impact on the existing landscape. Job well done. As a homeowner with any contractor (unless you plan to pay a very high premium) I recommend that 1) you get all the details of the job in writing and reviewed before the job starts and 2) you be on site to watch the installers and make sure they are doing the job you contracted them to do. I would not recommend with any contractor today that you trust for them to do the job right or give 110% if your not paying attention to the job details. read more

We just had our fence installed by Mr. Fence and they did a great job! Dan Sr. worked with us on a tricky part of our yard involving our walkway and which way to have the installed gate open up. They made sure we were satisfied with the outcome, which we were! The entire crew worked really hard. They were professional and they cleaned up when they were finished. These guys are extremely unprofessional. They showed up two hours late on the date of installation. They didn't finish the job on the first day (Monday) and said they would be back the next day to finish (Tuesday). They didn't show or call on Tuesday. I called the office Tuesday afternoon, but these guys rarely answer the phone, so I left voice message. On Wednesday morning, I received a call back from the Owner who apologized and said that he was not aware the job wasn't finish and that he would send guys to finish the job later that morning. When I arrived home from work, the install was completed but these guys left cigarettes butts all over my back yard and they spilled their mix of gravel/concrete on my driveway, which dried! I called the office and left a voicemail about the damage on my driveway. They came out to my home to review the damages and admitted fault. They said they would be taking of the problem but since then, 5 weeks have past and I haven't heard from Mr Fence! I've called multiple times, left messages and they do not return my calls! I have attempted to place a small order with this business for over a month and a half. We needed a replacement ladder for our playset. I placed the order on May 9th and was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks. As of today (June 7th) it has not been delivered. I have called multiple times and was PROMISED three separate times it would be delivered the following week. The customer service is AWFUL. There is no one to speak to besides the initial woman I dealt with (who said she is the owner). Their ending excuse was "the company keeps forgetting to deliver the item." She also expressed very little concern over losing my business and future references and gave me no other choice but to cancel the order. I STRONGLY suggest you stay away from this company. If they cannot place a simple order such as a ladder, I cannot imagine their customer service for larger purchases. read more

i would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. not only are they the most unprofessional company, they have the rudest people working in the office, who have clearly never had a position where they have had to speak to another person in their entire life. over 12 weeks to complete what they called "a small job that would probably be completed in 4 weeks" with absolutely no communication on their end. when we called to check up on the status of when they were coming, they kept saying that they didn't know when they were coming and they can't give us any idea when. when they finally called to tell us that they were coming, we called to confirm and all we were told was "i don't know if we're coming, we'll call you in 15 minutes" and they never called or showed up (they also never answered the phone when we called after they never called us back). after going in person, and then telling us that they couldn't fit us in for another 2-3 weeks, they "discovered" that they could fit us in the next day. the only reason this company has even one star (which are people who don't work in the office, so they were clearly competent) was because the people who came to do the fence did a good job. they took their time, and completed the job. A word of advice to the owners of this company, know that you have a small company that relies on the positive reviews of previous clients, and if you continue your rude and unprofessional antics, it will get you nowhere. read more

I used Mr Fence to replace a 4 ft chain link fence with a 6 ft white privacy vinyl fence. I went with Mr Fence based on the product that they were going to install and the fact that they have been in business a long time. Also they have an office on rt 9 in freehold (in case I needed to complain). Well the only reason why I went to the office was to have them do more work for me!!! The fence was better than I imagined, installed 3 days earlier than expected. The crew with Joe as the lead man was great, they all worked as a team and really seemed to love what they do. I met the owner and office staff when booking my next job, all really great people. This was a big expense for me and after a lot of research and glad I picked the right company...........MR. Mr. Fence installed a black aluminum pool fence for us this Fall, 2014. We needed chain link replaced to follow new codes and new aluminum fence put around our pool. Mr. Fence was very educated about the codes and laws for obtaining town approval. Our fence looks beautiful and we are very happy. When the chain link was being replaced, the old posts could not be used, so we did encounter extra expense as they had to install new poles, but that is just an unexpected expense and no ones fault. We were very happy with the customer service and installation of the fence. Only recommendation would be to have the crew hose off the fence (dirt splatters from digging and installing on posts) after installing to add to the "wow" factor when customer sees completed project!
