I…read morewas on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people."

Ahmad and his crew had a keen sense of attention to detail that made us very happy and left the neighbors extremely impressed. He was here everyday and was quick to respond if/when needed. Ahmad was extremely patient, knowledgeable and answered all of the many questions I had morning and night. The crew left the site clean and organized ready for the next day. They worked tirelessly morning and night and were extremely respectful and kind. He is honest and fair and produces fantastic work, something that is rare to come by these days. He manages projects with a level of organization and foresight that significantly reduces the usual friction and surprises that often accompany construction. I know they don't have a lot of online presence, but my best friend referred me to them after getting her kitchen remodeled, and they are freaking AWESOME. They are fair priced, on-time, and don't cut corners. Also they genuinely care about making their customers' visions come true. My husband and I recently purchased a home and wanted to modernize our kitchen but didn't have the budget to do a full-on kitchen renovation. We got (or tried to get) a couple of quotes from "reputable" companies in the area. One never showed, another promised us a quote and never got around to it, a third gave us a startling low quote after requesting pictures via text but their attitude & the quote did not sit right with us at all. And lastly, this duo team from Eruda Design & Build - I kid you not - came by THREE times, in person, to brainstorm with us different design ideas & to ensure the measurements were correct. Even from the get-go they were above and beyond others, but even during the renovation process, they did not disappoint. For example, I had requested my fridge to be moved to a different wall, and while they were reconfiguring all the plumbing, they found this rusting pipe that was slowly leaking water which was covered by some panels in the HVAC that even our home inspector didn't find. They let us know immediately (even though it was beyond the scope of the project) because they worried about the long-term effects of water damage that could have on our home and replaced the pipe for us. They met us at their warehouse to brainstorm & choose the quartz countertop with us, and then even met us at the tile shop to choose a backsplash together. For my husband and I who sort of had an idea of what we wanted but wasn't sure if they were the right "choices" - this kind of personal level of service was sooo helpful. In addition, they also are so handy! Did our light fixtures and even mounted a TV for us. To top it all off, they gave us a pull-out cabinet as a home welcoming gift. And as you can see from the pictures, they did an AMAZING job. It looks so much more chic and my husband and I are so grateful to Mr. Sungho and his team!

My family and I commenced this process as soon as the company opened its doors. Regrettably, due to…read morea lack of communication between the management and the general public, it took us over a year to even begin. From them having a floor plan advertised that we later learned that they couldn't provide to us. To us having a contact on a lot to then learn that the home style we wanted we couldn't get on that lot because they had lots pre-permitted. They had to cancel our contract. We wanted to change the floor plan based on the options we could build. Then we were told we had to wait for one specific lot, exactly where the trailer sat. Despite all of that, we believed in what they were selling and waited. Now I regret it. The only issues I do not hold them responsible for are the weather conditions and the timing of the installation of utilities for the community. We engaged with four sales representatives, and I can confidently say that I have had positive experiences with each of them. However, my primary concerns arose during the completion of my home. While the company offers a warranty, I find it perplexing that I am compelled to submit multiple warranty claims for a newly constructed home. Before even reaching the one-month mark, we encountered problems. The siding on our home is consistently coming off, not completely, but it is lifting. The company has had to "repair" it three times within six months. I can already see where it is lifting again. Additionally, the siding is wavy. I was informed that this is due to the sun and the color of the siding. I was advised to wait, but despite taking all the necessary steps, nothing has been addressed. Furthermore, there is another home with the same color siding and orientation to the sun, but it does not exhibit the same wavy siding characteristics. The flooring in our home is also lifting, and I was told that this is within the company's allowance. However, why should any flooring be lifting? In certain areas, it produces a "tap" sound because the flooring is not flush with the subfloor. This is unacceptable. We paid an additional amount for oak stairs, and now we have "slats". The space has grown to the point where I can fit a credit card between the gaps. We have experienced electrical issues. I was informed that it is possible that we, as the homeowner, may be the cause. When I attempted to use a vacuum cleaner, it tripped the power. Upon submitting a claim, I was informed that a "one-time courtesy" could be extended, but it would need to be waited two weeks for the "soonest" appointment. Therefore, I was required to wait two weeks without power in two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway. I contacted Diana at the sales office, and she was able to advocate on my behalf, resulting in the appointment being moved up by another week. Upon the electrician's arrival, he identified the hazard. He tightened the loose wires and replaced a faulty arc. However, was this the consumer's fault, as the warranty office tried to previously elude? We had other options of builders, but we chose Stanley Martin, and I am disappointed that we did so. Regardless of the costs of the home, every homeowner deserves the quality that they advertise. I am highly dissatisfied, and when we decide to move on, I will know which builder to avoid.

This development is only a few years old and the for sale signs that are already posted are crazy. Ask people when in our development what they think and 80 percent will tell you how disappointed they are in the product and services

Which only would have taken 5 mins of his time. I guess since he's not getting paid to do so it's a waste of his time It's crazy how his profile says " I live helping others and teaching the industry I cherish" but can't take 5 mins of his time to fill out one piece of paper and sign Adam is lazy and rude especially if it not benefiting him in his favor - be careful working with him. I'd prefer to work with someone respectful and customer service oriented who doesn't hang up the phone on people requesting important documentation that can affect people's livelihood. Clearly started out the gate too fast.

I believe buying a home with Dennis Poulsen and Samson Properties was the worst and biggest regret…read moreof our lives and I do not recommend anyone ever work with them. My husband was not aware the inspection contingency was waived on the offer Dennis wrote, and no pre-offer inspection was even done. My husband only found this was waived after the offer was accepted when I read the contract. No CMA was done either. Dennis kept pushing my husband to offer higher than what my husband wanted to offer and he gave us significant pushback and attitude when we asked for repairs. I felt he minimized all our concerns and complaints. He felt like an enemy rather than an advocate during the whole transaction. I believe we ended up paying significantly more with fewer seller repairs because of his involvement. We felt manipulated the whole time as it felt like he was truly working for the seller instead of us. It was extremely difficult to file a complaint about him to his broker, Samson Properties. They promised intervention with another individual to get us through closing, then said she was too busy. They did nothing to help the situation. Dennis denied my allegations, even things I have screenshot evidence of. After the sale, he did not respond to email requests asking the seller basic questions about the flooring, roof, etc on our behalf. Samson was cc'd and did not care. I felt Dennis was primarily focused on closing the deal no matter what for his commission, without due regard for our financial interests, time, or satisfaction. I believe we significantly overpaid due to his involvement. It was the worst experience of my life and I truly regret ever working with him and Samson Properties.
