I LOVE Classic Nails - not only is it extremely clean, but the value is WILD for the service you get. A regular manicure is $13 ($3 upcharge for the long wear polish - another steal!) and a pedicure is $23 - you cannot beat that. Their spa pedicure menu is also pretty extensive. The entire team is absolutely amazing - friendly, professional, and they do a wonderful job! Andy also gives the BEST massages ever - I feel like in other salons they just do a quick backrub while you're drying your nails, but Andy really takes his time and DELIVERS. Andy and Yumi are extremely personable and professional. Once you come here regularly, they know your name and talk to you, greet you with a smile, etc. It is the only nail salon I've been to where they really focus on making sure you enjoy your pedicure and they make sure you're happy with how your nails turned out. This was not my first experience at Classic Nails. Before today I had had a pleasant experience. It is a pretty decor with close parking to the establishment. They take both appointments and walkins. There are four or five pedicure stations. I had scheduled an appointment for a fill and pedicure. I was greeted warmly by the owner and after choosing a color I l decided on one of the specialty pedicures which was reasonably priced at $35. After the pedicure I was moved to a manicure station. The manicurist sat behind plexiglass barrier and was masked the whole time. I had chosen my color while getting my pedicure. When I had already had my color taken off the woman giving me my manicure used a different glue filler than I had originally requested but due to a time crunch I just rolled with it. She did try to speak with me many times during the manicure but I could not understand her as English was not her first language and she work a mask and plexiglass between us. I also was trying to listen to a podcast as I was trying to relax. When the manicure was completed I looked at my nails and they looked horrible. The sides were not straight and were exceptionally thick! I was dissatisfied. I had difficulty understanding the manicurist so I asked to speak with the owner. The owner seemed indifferent about my displeasure and appeared not to understand my displeasure. When I explained to him that I would not be paying for a manicure I was dissatisfied with he offered to fix it. I did not have time as I had already spent almost 2 hours at their salon and needed to get home to my children. He then proceeded to speak in his native language to the other colleagues there and said forget it just pay for the pedicure. I left feeling very upset and frustrated that in voicing my displeasure at how the manicure came out he did little to make the situation better but rather spoke about me negatively and treated me as if I did something wrong. in a service industry one would want to keep their customers satisfied. He also was in the middle of doing his own pedicure on a client and maybe this led to him being short tempered and rude. I am still contemplating if I should return and allow them to fix my nails or if I am completely done with this place entirely. If I could give a zero review I would. I had decided to go to classic nails after asking on the local Facebook page where people go and classic Nails came up a couple of times for fill ins. Couple of reviews also said that Yumi and Andy are the owners but when I asked her, she said no I'm not an owner. I just work here so I'm not sure. So I went. I'm getting my nails done a couple minutes into it and the owner asked me was I referred to them I said well kind of off Facebook page and he said oh OK like with a weird attitude and walked away. So Yumi continues to do my nails I watched Andy gave shoulder massages to all the people that were there before me and then all the people that came in after me and I never got a shoulder massage. Now it was time for polish and I wanted a brown and the color in the bottle looked more burgundy unlike what it looks like on the painted nail in the book. So I asked her is this brown or burgundy and she said burgundy I said oh I wanted more of a brown, the other color that I picked out was more brown, but the bottle was almost empty. She went to go look for a new bottle couldn't find one. Now she's running a couple minutes late for her next client and Andy is sitting three chairs down. She turned into a different person. The two of them start arguing being very nasty to each other, not loud but nasty and their language so I couldn't understand what they were saying but the way she was, making gestures with the nail polish she was either mad at me for changing the color or mad at him for not ordering the color or both and she had to use a bottle that was almost empty. I even said to her a couple of times just pick a brown doesn't matter to me. I just want brown. This is the color that I picked she says to me really nasty referring to the burgundy color and starts throwing her tools around. So I just sit there quietly their still fighting back-and-forth. THEN She takes the hot towel out of the towel Warmer opens it up. Doesn't shake it out to cool it off and just throws it on top of my hand. It was so hot and it burned the top of my hand. She kept Apologizing I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry, but it was the most insincere apology I've ever heard in my life. I swear she did it on purpose because they wanted to make sure that I never come back again. I did not realize that this was a club that you had to be sponsored and referred just to get your nails done without being injured. people that say they like it there and the way they do their nails, but I would be very cautious about going there even as an existing customer because you have to be pretty sick in the head to hurt somebody because they want brown polish, not burgundy. Yumi may not be an owner but definitely related to Andy the way that they were fighting. You would never be able to talk to your boss like that and still have a job. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

if i could give this place a zero I would. The managers are rude and disrespectful. Most unproffesional nail business I have ever been to in my life. i went there to get my eyebrows "cleaned up" and they completly ripped half my eye brow off and i was extreamly upset and the woman procced to say " you dont have to leave tip" and they still made me pay untill my mother demanded my money to be returned. not only this was a horrible experience, but they charge $110 for a fresh new set with french tip. Absoluty, RIDCULOUS pricing in this place, and I reccomend anyone who is looking for a nail place to go next door in the strip mall on kinderkamack which is much better then this TRASHY nail salon. I also want to specifically point out andy, the owner, and yumi his wife, CONSTANLY fighting while i am peacefully trying to get my nails done. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

They do a good job on nails but the place is small and cramped and the male who runs the place (manager?) is constantly crabby and snippy.

I decided to go here after work to get a pedicure. I only had enough time to get a basic pedicure. I didn't have to wait and was seated as soon as I selected my color. They lined the tub with plastic and added the scrub. The pedicure was great, they used a salt scrub on my legs, hot towel and hot stone. Massage was excellent. The pedicure was a great price only $22. I will definitely return. read more

I traveled 30 minutes to this salon based on several glowing recommendations. I usually do my own nails due to poor experiences at salons but being in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and unable to reach my feet, I was desperate. I was zoning out relaxing until it was almost the end and the woman began to apply polish, at that point I had to stop her and ask for a tool so that I could clean the black dirt/fuzz from under my nails that she completely ignored.. not what I expect from a $50 spa pedicure. read more

My gel manicure came out amazing but the pedicure was just okay. I prefer a better cleaning. Didn't use the tool to clean under the nails.

I have been a habitual jumper from one salon to the next, so I have tried many in the area. What makes this salon better than the rest is the actual manicure and pedicure. They are just better. The gel lasts longer, they take the time to shape the nail, and its the only salon where you still get a massage while your nails dry. I prefer quality over the trendy any day. read more

Went based upon these reviews on Yelp. My usual place is about 10mins from me- this is longer mileage-wise but only 18 mins and worth the trip!! The second you walk in is calmness and they take their time and don't rush you at all, not like so many other places. They were very patient with my mom, and she loves it here too. She feels like it's a spa with the quiet atmosphere and how Gentle they were and how they took their time. She even got an extra long back massage she enjoyed it so the gentleman just kept going!
