So I had the last appointment. Im in the chair with my favorite tech. Other staff are sweeping and doing last minute clean up. The owner walks behind my chair and disconnected the power.we both looked shocked as my massage abruptly ended. My tech says "she's using that" he just walked away. So I sat for the remaining 15 minutes with a powerless chair while he and the other staff played on their phones. I guess I should be grateful he didn't turn the light out. I'm disappointed in these guys. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon at 3pm, not a soul in the place other than the 5 employees lounging around on their phones (including one girl sitting in a pedicure chair with her bare feet out) and was told that I would need to come back some other time bc they had appointments and I didn't. I do understand that but the least they could have done was get me started and then advised that it would take longer than normal bc of the appointments. That is totally understandable (not bye! whilst barely looking up from their phones ). My mom and I have been coming here for years and she recently had a separate not great experience but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have been a client of Esther and the Nail House for almost 20 years, and I would highly recommend it to both women and men. A very pleasant atmosphere, and a very, very clean environment. I have never had a problem with the care of my nails at the Nail House. Esther does a great gel manicure for me, and Luanna does a great pedicure every time. All the employees are very nice, and very caring, especially to their older (in age!) clients. If you are looking for a highly professional and friendly nail salon, give Nail House a try. Price: $30 for a regular pedicure before tip Color selection: A lot of OPI and Essie, some Color Club but nothing super exciting (e.g. holos) Overall, it was relaxing and clean but my only complaint would be that I chose a Color Club Magnetic Force color and the nail tech didn't know about the magnetic element and a language barrier prevented me from being able to communicate it to her. I have been a client of Nail House for over 15 years. The salon is very clean and the personnel very friendly. I use Luana for both my gel manicures and pedicures. She is very sweet and excellent at what she does. The prices have kept going up but so has everything else. I would recommend them without reservation, if you use Luana. I am not familiar with the other employees' work, since I haven't used them. I use Peyton for eye lashes and she also does an excellent job. read more

Until recently they were very nice. I am disabled and require a boost into the pedicure chair. The staff was so rude and this time refused to do my nails even if I stayed in the wheelchair, to make matters worse my child was with me, I said to her she was being unethical, and she said I'm not a victim-- that is the abridged version. They are not friendly, it's expensive, for a no frills kind of place. I've spent a lot of money and even referred some friends to their establishment, I was appalled at this treatment. What a hidden gem! The salon is beautiful and clean. All employees are clearly very talented. This has been the best experience at a nail salon in a long time. I stopped in as a walk-in for a mani and pedi which they happily and quickly accommodated. It started with the pedicure. The male technician was fabulous with the massage, lotion, callus oil and hot towel. Then the female technician did my gel manicure and took the time to match the colors I wanted. They are very service oriented here which gave me a relaxing experience. The prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for and they are top notch! Highly recommend. read more

I have been going to this salon for years; I have spent tons of money there. AND YET they saw fit to completely disregard my specific instructions about eyebrow tinting. I said "very light" "not dark" etc. and instead, as if to intentionally RUIN my Christmas season, they slathered on copious BLACK, BLACK dye and then refused to pluck enough of it away to mitigate the damage. I can't believe that I had to pay over $40 for this disservice. I will NEVER go back there!! I would caution you to avoid this place. read more

Awful. I've literally never felt the need to write a review until today. I went in and said I liked my nail length and shape and they don't need to cut my nails. The woman did not cut my cuticles or otherwise touch anything that's included in a baseline manicure so I was under the impression it was just a gel change and no manicure. I'm not fussy, that's fine. But at the end I was charged for a full gel manicure and when I tried to clarify i was told that was just the price. She also left spaces at the bottom of my nails so now it looks like my gels are at least 5-6 days old and the nail is growing out. Never going back. read more

I do not recommend this nail salon at all unless you enjoyed being ripped off. Just your typical nail salon that try's to take every dollar for every time they raise their hand for not even mediocre service. I.....half way through my service they tell me my gel pedicure is 50$. 50??? It's 2018 come on. And another $5 to take off the polish. Of course. On top of them talking about me for 5 minutes i was later treated with border-line money worth treatment, a weak massage, not even a hot towel, and pathetic little bag of "wax" on my heels as the pedicure service. On top of it, my mom was aside me receiving a pedicure as well, and it seemed like the 2 workers were rushing who could get done first. What kind of service is that?? Anyway, save your money. Go anywhere else to Atleast feel like your not getting half ripped off. And get an actual full service pedicure! The 2 stars go to the decent appearance of the salon and the cleanliness. Disappointed with this place. As I was trying on colors, the color I selected was slightly sheer but I could tell with a couple coats it would be fine. Once she began doing my nails, I began to notice it was very sheer as she put on a very thin coat. After the first nail I kindly asked her if she could put on a couple more coats to which she replied "only 2". I figured I would give it a chance, however they turned out extremely see though and there was nothing I can do about it. I am a college student home for the holiday break and went to this place as it is my mother's regular nail salon. With that said I called my mother upset and in shock with the way they were servicing me. Only upon her coming in were they willing to re-accommodate me and do the extra coat. I refused - I didn't want to be in a place a minute longer that only is willing to perfect / fully execute their said service to "loyal" customers. I will be going home and redoing my nails myself. I understand the color is not their fault, however if a customer asks for a simple request such as an extra coat (which takes no more than a minute to do), there is no reason they can not accommodate or at least suggest something else. The manicure process and appearance (excluding color) itself was great as was the pedicure. Truly a shame they were so un-accommodating to me, would have otherwise used this place in the future. read more

I cant even try to explain how horrible this nail salon is. The lady who did my nails, Lindsay, was horrible. I went in to get a regular pedicure, waited for 20 minutes (which i am perfectly fine with) but they proceeded to take 2 other customers before me and i got there first. Are you kidding? Throughout the entire pedicure she has a sour look on her face and keeps giving me an attitude. If she doesnt like her job, she should move. I am a tipper, but this lady did not deserve anything. 4/15 - let me say as of now I am still going here but that might change. Let me explain my change of thoughts. I still like the ladies I go to. But my issue is now with product quality. This is a nail salon. I think it's part having this business is that you keep up with the nail polish products. Their nail polish area on the wall looks sad. The bottles look so old. Most of them with maybe 1/8" to 1/4" of polish left with color separation. As in they've been standing so long with out being mixed the compounds are separating. Some colors are yellowing. Also they never get new colors in!! Nail collections come out often, I think especially without replacing the old separating polish, they would at least be buying the new collections. I'm not trying to be rude but I can buy polish (opi,Essie,cnd,etc for $6) the beauty suppliers sell them to salons for much much less. Buying the new collections isn't that much of overhead. A few years ago they used to buy all the new opi collections and keep them in cute little displays. Unfortunately this has stopped. Now on to the gel polish colors. Brands put out new collections often as well. This salon never buys any of the new gel colors. The nail industry is on fire right now. Nail magazines, nail art, etc. it's not slowing down. I think this salon is doing a disservice to itself by not buying new collections. read more
