I would give this place negative stars if I could. I made an appointment for a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was nothing special as the girl (Lia) rushed through it. I asked for a strong massage (she didn't do it and had an attitude that she could care less - the chip on her shoulder was the size of Texas). The place does not provide hot stones for a regular pedicure while other nail salons do. I called the owner (Irene) to let he know that my gel manicure started to peel off a little over a week after I had gotten it done. Additionally, my cuticles were raw on some nails from Lia over filing. I was out of town on business and was not returning until the following week and asked about having it redone. She gave me a stern "NO" since it would be after the 2 week time since my last manicure. After explaining over and over again that I was not around therefore I was unable to come sooner to get it fixed., I was met with the "I don't care attitude." Moreso, it should not have happened to begin with. She out and out refused to do anything, which is horrible business practice. This seems to be a money grab for her as she has no customers the couple of times I have been there. The place is nothing special when you walk in as it looks and feels like many other nail salons. Additionally, my son went for a pedicure and the employee spent all of 10 minutes. I looked at the clock. When I told Irene this, she told me "no." A pedicure for a child takes longer than 10 minutes. Totally disgusted! What a waste of time and money!! Go elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to choose from. I was able to find a nail salon close to where I was staying on my business trip and they did a phenomenal job! You can't compare. This place is a ripoff, the help is terrible regarding attitude as well as service (including the owner). As a business owner, she has alot to learn. Upon returning home, I have an appointment set up with a place that has clients who expect only the best. Happy to drive to receive the service that equates to the price. New ownership! Irene has been doing my nails for years - and now I drive pretty far to keep going to her, because she's really the best. Not only is she fast, but she's genuinely GOOD. She knows exactly how to shape my nails. She also can do designs! Salon is in the midst of being upgraded from previous owners and it shows - in a good way! It's super clean and modern inside. Irene has added details that make your experience as a customer enjoyable - you can tell thought and care goes into the salon's decisions. I get UV hard gel done here and you can't beat the price! I highly recommend this spot and especially Irene. It's HARD to find a good nail tech like her! read more

Overall, I won't be going back. My nails were sore for two days after. The shaping is what really annoyed me, as it looks wonky and not all of them are stilleto. The new owner Irene is very kind, but my appointment was rushed and it showed. She also told me SNS doesn't look as good as gel, but I've had other salons do SNS better. I decided to come back here since they offer gel-x manicures now. Carol does excellent work for my Gel-x manicures and is truly a professional who knows her craft. She's rare in the industry and I've tried so many nail salons in the area over the years. If your nail polish chips she will fix it if you'd like. I always get compliments and one of my friends started going to her too. She was also able to provide a better alternative to acrylic for artificial toenails with gels and they look so good. I was looking for a nail place for a long time. The ones I have been to were rude, had loud tv on, or were simply not clean or super nosey asking me about my whole life. I went to magic nails and had a pleasant experience. There was calm music playing in the background. The tv had no sound on. The pleasant owner did not ask personal questions and did not even talk until near the end when I started the convo. I sometimes like quiet so I can relax. They had about 8 spa pedicure chairs, all in perfect condition and looked pretty new. The chairs for nail customers were extremely comfortable. They did a nice job on my nails. They didn't get powder shaving all over the place. They kept it clean and used high quality products that were in fairly new condition. Other guests were respectful and polite and there is a shopping center right there so you can go shopping right after. Will def return. Thanks read more

This is my first time going here, and getting tips with dip powder. Next time, I will be doing the gel extension as it was recommended because they do fill ins. However, while this was my manicure here, I have never had a better experience!! I loved how careful they were, taking my temperature when I walked in, having me put on hand sanitizer before touching anything, and making sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend this nail salon, they are all so nice and wonderful and the whole environment is very peaceful and enjoyable for a perfect day at the salon also very clean!! read more

My wife, an essential health care worker, was finally able to go get her pedicure which she had pre-purchased vouchers for. The vouchers were expired as of 3/31 however she was unable to use prior to expiration due to a) working many hospital shifts due to Covid and b) the business being closed as per Gov. Murphy's orders on March 19. Her one voucher was honored today but they confiscated her other one and informed her it would not be honored. Although I am sure their business was impacted during the shutdown and can empathize, what businesses should also realize is that ordinary people have been impacted as well. Unfortunately, this left a bad taste and they have now lost a very good customer. We enjoy supporting local businesses but not when we feel we are being taken advantage of for short term gain. read more

About 10 days ago, my sister and I both came here to get our nails done, I had a dip powder manicure and she got a gel manicure done. Within a week, 5 of my nails have chipped and nearly all of hers either chipped or completely fell off. Ridiculous considering dip is supposed to last 3-4 weeks and gel at least 2. For the prices they charge, I would think we would be getting amazing and long lasting manicures. We will not be returning. read more

My first visit was in July, but I forgot my flyer for the 30% discount. I asked if they can still honor it and they said sure. I got a $50 spa pedicure, and when she rung me up, she forgot to add the discount. They told me to bring it in next time to receive the discount on my next service. Not a big deal. I brought the flyer in on this recent visit but it expired. I simply asked if they can still honor it. The lady helping me didn't really say yes or no, she set the flyer aside and sat down with me for my manicure and started working on me. Then they started to talk in Korean. I sat there listening to them talk about me. I can understand Korean. They were complaining that I brought in a flyer and asked about the discount. I sat there quietly and was shocked at their comments. Then I said in Korean that they didn't have to honor it if it expired, it wasn't a big deal. They appeared to be mortified and was very apologetic. They said they will honor the expired discount at that point. Then they sat me down on the pedicure chair with a glove filled with paraffin and forgot about it until i was almost done with my pedicure. They were up-selling me on a spa pedicure for $45 again. I said yes since they were willing to give me the discount. A different girl worked on my pedicure when I sat down. She was so rough and fast that I thought she was going to clip my skin or make me bleed. She was filing down my skin with a nail file. I jerked a couple times, but she was really rushing it. I told her it hurt. Not sure if she heard me. Lastly - I got a manicure color that was $5 more to dry faster. What actually got me really upset was that they charged me $5 more for pedicure + $5 more for manicure. Who does that. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be just a one time charge? I was so confused as I was signing my receipt for the card charge. I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

This salon is formerly "Butterfly Spa". Located in the Ridgemont Shopping Center. I received a flyer in the mail saying that they were under new management and decided to try it out... What a mistake that was. Upon entering, I was not greeted nicely. All I was there for was a regular pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was extremely unfriendly. When she ran the water, it was cold. She rushed her way through and cut me multiple times with tools she was using. Overall, it was a complete disaster. A pedicure that should've taken 30+ minutes only lasted 15, if that. A few minutes later, someone I'm familiar with walked in and sat next to me getting a pedicure as well. To me, it sounded like she had all the same issues too. I don't plan on returning. read more

This nail salon is great! The salon is beautiful and well structured. They do a fantastic job with nails and perfect it to your liking! I had gotten gel here a few times and have been very pleased and happy with the results. Prices are not too expensive.. but they are reasonable. Definitely recommend! read more
