This place leaves me extremely unsatisfied everytime I go. Very bad attitudes, I NEVER get what I ask for, seems like they talk crap about me and my friends when we go in their language. I went again yesterday and I didn't like the design and I asked her to wipe it off and she was snooty with me the rest of the appointment. The gentleman filed my nails and painted - he didn't even put a top coat of gloss. My cuticles were never cleaned. Will never go back. In fact, I have to have them re-done. Updated: So I've tried the South 7th St location 2x now...and it's on par with the North location. I went once as a walk-in with no issues, and once after I called to see if I could come in at a certain time. I'm not sure why they said I could come at that time, since they were super busy. They took me, since I said I called, but they did questioned me 3x about it. I had to ask for a nail to be re-cut, as I don't like angled toenails (I mean really? Cut. Them. Straight.), and the polish on one nail had to be done 3x because they didn't use spacers (and hint: cotton balls stick to wet polish). I also don't like the upsale they try: designs, manicures, eyebrows. No, no, and no. I will probably be back, because as I've said they're the cheapest place in town...but I probably won't like it. read more

Here's the tea sis: This salon is not the place to go if you want quality service. Their price is decent, I believe ~$50 for an acrylic fill, but not worth the PAIN. The nail tech first filed my nails too short; they were nearly bleeding to the fingertip bed. Then, they proceeded to file my nail bed and cut it open. Thank you, like I really wanted an infection. I asked for a coffin shape, and the shape was not bad, but not great. The edges were warped and gross. Definitely a hard pass. Save your money and go to a different nail bar. read more

Horrible! When I had my nails done he cut my fingers numerous times and did a rushed, sloppy job while talking and texting on his phone most of the time. Another experience ihad with thislocation happened one afternoon when I snagged my hose on my lunch break. Since I work near this location I went into the store to see if I could use a dab of clear nail polish to prevent the snag from getting worse. They didn't understand what I was asking for, but - after numerous explanations and a conversation that included chuckles and "she's crazy" looks in my direction between the owner and the girl working on another lady's nails in whatever language they speak - they accommodated my request. I thanked them for their kindness and offered to give them a few dollars for their trouble, to which the owner condescendingly replied: "No thanks, I'm rich enough"! Excuse me?!? If you're looking for a fairly inexpensive place to get a mani/pedi go to the S. Walmart. They've ALWAYS treated me well and done a good job. Excellent gel topped acrylic fill-in...maybe one of the best that I have ever had. Traveling for business in Bismarck. Walked in without an appointment on a Friday afternoon without reading the reviews. (I am glad that I didn't.) Was greeted by Jennifer at the front and waited for 10 minutes. She sat me in her chair and I asked that she smooth out the waviness from my last application in Fargo and curve the tops a little more. I spent the next 20 minutes talking to my neighbor and not paying attention. When I looked down, they were almost finished and perfect! I never know what to expect when I am on the road and I usually have to settle, so this was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. When I am back in Bismarck you better believe that I will be visiting with Jennifer for a fill again...she is a true artist and I really got lucky this time! read more

Went to classy nails Oct 3rd or 4th 2019 and by the 9th my bank put a stop payment on my debit card because they tried to pull $290.00 my son was in a car accident that put him in the hospital that morning, when that notification came in he was just admitted and laying in ER meeting doc. I called bank said this is bad timing please keep hold on card till you hear from me. My son was in hospital 5 days so after being home a couple of days I called to reorder a debit card only to learn that if my card had not had a hold on it someone would have ordered Domino's pizza 2 times, bought x amount of dollars from some store I never heard of and almost $300.00 worth of Nike shoes. When I went in to tell owner I would never be back he denied ever seeing me and told me he was gonna call the cops on ME. WHAT A JOKE! If the only way I can post my review is lie and say you deserve a star you can have it! read more

I had my nails done right after someone on 1/5/21 around 130pm and the nail lady didn't clean up after her. She cut my skin numerous times on both hands with the electric file as well as the hand file. She laughed to herself multiple times I'm not sure why... she didn't say much to me and nobody was talking to her... Maybe she was laughing at how much she was messing up..? The shape of the nail is fine but I think she could have paid a little more attention to the paint job. She seemed to be in a hurry like she was trying to race with the other woman named Amy as my friend was also getting her nails done. And yes my nail lady won.. but I ended up the loser in this case.. lol read more

I went to the South 7th location for a pedicure several times (?3X?) and a manicure once. I use them mainly when I can't get in the the better quality places in a timely manner. For the pedicure, I cut my nails beforehand to the length I want (they were cut too short and cut on an angle the first time I went). They will still file and shape them. The rest is mediocre, but serviceable. A typical pedicure will last the standard two weeks. There is a lot of upsell during services as one previous reviewer mentioned (particularly for the shellac manicure), but they are polite when you tell them 'no'. I found the women did a better job at pedicures than the men. For the manicure (regular or shellac), I don't recommend them. I watched them do several shellac manicures while there and each time they got the color and base coat against the cuticles and nail folds which meant the shellac is likely to peel off with in several days rather than lasting the full two weeks as touted. (I swear there is NO ONE in Bismarck who knows how to do a proper shellac manicure.) As for my regular manicure, it smudged even after two complete cycles under the UV lamp/dryer and it chipped (noticeable chips) within two days. I also had to redo the cuticles when I got home as they missed some spots. I redid the whole thing at home within 4 days with the same top coat and color (I bring my own) but different base coat and it lasted over 10 days with out a chip or smudge, so I don't know if it's a basecoat issue or the fact that they don't let each coat dry completely between each application. The price isn't great for the quality ($25 for the pedicure and $35 for combined mani-pedi), but I'm not going to complain as this place is mainly about the convenience for me and they certainly don't charge the prices that upscale salons charge for better-but-still-not-excellent-quality jobs. The bottom line is that they are quick and have availability, so keep that in mind if you end up here. read more

Horrible experience! I went in for a pedicure and got in right away. However, once I sat down there was a group that walked in so the whole experience felt so rushed! It was like they were more concerned about getting girls in and out than having us relax, enjoy the "spa pedicure" and get our moneys worth. The water and towels were extremely hot. Tried to do something nice for my girlfriend because I was flying out for a week and the simple fact she's a good girlfriend. I sent her to Classy Nails in Kirkwood Mall with my credit card. So my trying to be a good guy turned into a large infected area on her ankle from a worker going too fast with a pumice stone. She missed a day of work to visit her doctor had a culture for staff infection taken and got 3 antibiotics. Her ankle is very red, white and puffy. I went to the 2 shops down south to talk to an owner, the employees arein trained very well to cover for the owner. 1 store said they were on a 1 month vacation, one said to call the store to negotiate with the owner, now remember I was standing IN the store that I was supposed to call. Avoid this salon like the plague. Total up the price they charge, a missed day of work, a doctors visit and 3 medications plus 5 days of a cut up ankle. read more

I recently had a french pedicure done here and it was okay. not spectacular but not horrible either.

I don't do pedis as often as I'd like to so when I do splurge I get super excited! My friend and I decided to have a little pampering, The gal was very cranky, which I tried not to let that effect the good time, but when she asked me questions and I couldn't understand her she ripped off her mask and yelled at me, I apologized and let it be. She cut my toes multiple times from trimming too short and used super glue to stop the bleeding. When I picked out a polish she started using it and said it was way too dark and she would get one that was better so picked brown instead of the fall red I picked. Didn't aske if I liked it, and honestly I was kind of afraid to say anything about it! There was no foot massage at all! Needless to say I will NOT go back to that cranky sloppy gal! They do not even spray or rinse off their tools either, and to think my blood was on hers when she started on the next person! Terrible experience! Don't waste your money! read more

Just got a pedicure a few days ago to treat myself. The experience was pleasant enough but when I looked after getting home , the polish doesn't go down to the cuticle edge on my big toes so it already has the appearance of looking grown out . I walked into the salon for a French manicure, I got a very inexperienced girl who shouldn't be allowed to have an electric tool in her hand! She proceeded to remove my previous gel polish VERY aggressively I winced in pain several times but didn't deter her. The she asked "shorter?" I said a little well she got out the clipper and cut the nail to the quick! Then there was a broken nail I asked her to put acrylic on to save the nail buy instead she clipped it off!! It was then I said stop! And said what do I owe I can't stay here. What the heck I have stubs for nails had to go to another salon to get it finished VERY BAD THE WORST DONT GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR NAIL BED IN TACT! I have been to a few shops around town and I went here because it was the only one I could get into last minute. Wrong decision!!! I got gel nails done and it was not worth it! They were busy, and rushed through it, I usually get 2-3 layers on gel, they only put 1 on for French tips, and by the next day, no joking, they started to peel off. Never has that happened to me at any nail salon in Bismarck. I had to go back to my regular place the next day and have them do a complete new set. :( I came in as a walk in and they said they had time, but while I was getting my nails manicured, two other ladies came in stating the had an apt at this same time, and there were only two workers working. I think the owner should think about putting the customer first and not greed. I will never go back to this place. read more

I just moved here from Denver and it seems like salons in ND are more expensive and have less variety in what they are able to do. I went for a pedicure to test it out. They were busy but had me sit in the pedicure chair for a long time, my water wasn't hot to begin with but was freezing by the time someone finally came to help me. The actual pedicure was pretty good. I noticed they didn't sanitize the tub next to mine when they were done which is gross. The design was not cute at all. I came back the next day and wanted to get longer nails but without acrylic tips. They said they could do this. Mid way through I asked if I was going to have longer nails and she said "yes" but then later put gel on my natural nails so they wouldn't be longer. I asked to just pay and leave at that point. Not worth the money, I could have done better doing my nails at home! I went in for a pedicure. The entire time, the lady was rushing to get me done before her appointment came in. She did my entire pedicure in 20 minutes, plus she was sick so she was coughing the whole time! Yuck and definitely not relaxing. And I noticed that they don't sanitize the tools, they just rinse them in the tub (that your feet are in) and then just put them back to use on the next person! I have gotten a lot of pedicures in the past and I will never bother going to this place again. Please don't go here! read more
