AMAZING!!! She really listens to what you want. I have really high arches that I don't really like. when she was finished she gave me the mirror to look at my brows and asked me what I thought and I liked them but I thought they could be a little more round so I told her and she fixed it right away and my brows looked the best they have ever looked! I've had plenty of Brazilian waxes before; hard wax, $90 sugaring, etc but Alma was the gentlest & best experience of them all. She does a very precise & thorough job and won't leave you with any stubborn, stray hairs. She did a first pass with regular wax, a second pass with hard wax & even finished with tweezing. Alma is seriously awesome! I came in for a Brazilian and I was as comfortable as possible both mentally and physically the entire time. Alma provided great customer service and was intent on making my experience a good one. You can really tell Alma takes pride in her work and loves what she does. I plan on going back to see her in 5 weeks for another Brazilian because I know the first Brazilian after you've been shaving for a while is the most painful and if it's done continually after that it becomes easier each time. It was definitely worth it and if I can do it, I think most people can. I have literally walked out of getting a Brazilian half way through before...I didn't have to do that with Alma. Also, I think it's super important to pay clattention when it comes to proper waxing sanitation protocol and Alma is definitely on point in that department as well! Update: Went back for Brazilian #2 and it was nothing!! I'm telling you ladies, just get through that first time! My regrowth was so sparse that it was seriously a breeze. I was so pleasantly shocked lol. I'm truly psyched that I found Alma and I will not be going to anyone else for my waxing needs. I was leaving for a trip to Tulum with my hubby & didnt want to hassle with shaving while I was gone. I yelped a few places, saw all of Alma's amazing reviews and I set an appointment. Getting a Brazilian was on my bucket list so I figured how bad could it be? Turns out not as bad as I thought! If you have tattoos, I think it hurts less than that. Taking the ibuprofen beforehand definitely helps - so don't forget! And the first wax is the toughest one to get through. I've been keeping up on my waxes and the ones that follow the first are wayyy less painful, and much quicker. Hair grows back slower, finer, I love it! Alma is the absolute sweetest & I feel like I'm talking to a girlfriend when I see her. I thought it would be awkward showing someone my V that isn't my Dr or my husband, but I figured.. I'm a girl, she's a girl & shes done this a million times. She is totally professional! It's not awkward at all. I had to get up to lie on my tummy for her to finish and I my back was a little sweaty (room temp? Nerves? I'm not sure) I was a little embarrassed the paper on the table stuck to me and she didnt make me feel awkward at all. 2nd time I just asked if we could turn on the AC and that helped :) I'm now trying to get my lady friends and husband to go to her.
