I cleaned that off in the shower. Wax was too hot though. The whole time, I kept saying 'it's too hot." But the waxer only turned down the heat once. Even though I kept saying it's too hot. Came here on the 13th and it was my first time.. I will say the girl who did my wax was super sweet and funny.. I didn't have a bad experience with her as far as friendliness and her talking me through it.. but a lot was left behind.. and then after like two days I got a lot of blisters.. maybe the wax was too hot or something I'm not sure.. it would have been nice to get some answers but I called twice and left two messages.. both times I was told a manager or supervisor would call me back and that never happened. I just love the quality of the wax use in the technique that they wax with it barely hurts in my opinion, and you don't feel sticky afterwards, which is very important to me. Started coming here because my wax lady Priscilla started working here. I've followed her from Ulta when she was a Benefit Brow artist to her own little stall and now here at European Wax. I would've never set foot in a European Wax Center had it not been for her. I do appreciate the appointment reminder calls a day or so before your appointment and that the facility is always clean and well lit. Also parking is not really an issue since it's in a shopping plaza and there's a gas station, Vons and a Starbucks in the same place. Literally started getting Brazilian's on the regular since she started here on top of getting my brows done. The same care and precision she takes in waxing my brows she does in waxing my lady parts. Her brow waxing is the best! I trust her with the shape and clean up every single time and this is the farthest I've traveled for a wax appointment which is around 40 miles. I highly recommend Priscilla for all services but especially for eyebrows! On top of that she's really nice and patient and works with you to achieve the look you are going for. read more

I would leave 1 star if the entire experience was bad but my waxer was very very sweet and she always made me comfortable , however the receptionist is very hostile and RUDE. Never once had a smile, never talked to you like a normal person, idk if it's just a personal experience but always looked down on me like she was better than I was. She was the main reason I stopped going. And if you're looking for somewhere that won't break the bank I don't recommend this place they do their promotion while still pushing you to buy their serums, lotions, and scrubs , which all are very pricing and they don't ask if you're interested they just add it to your bill. It makes an even more awkward interaction when you say no. I also have very sensitive skin and everytime I went I got irritation and red bumps, and I would get this numbing feeling idk if it was from the serum but it felt uncomfortable. Once I went to a new place (Nena's Waxing LOVE that place and is very affordable and they are kind and understanding def recommend) my irritation stopped and no red bumps, and no numbing. So I could happily say I'll never go back. read more

Of course, I have had a one off experience where I was not thrilled w my wax specialist. Management called me after I made a complaint to the front desk and immediately remediated my concerns. I've been coming to this EWC for almost 2 years now. I was off/on for awhile about getting a bikini wax. They have prepaid service packages which keeps me on a consistent waxing schedule. Going to get a bikini wax is definitely stressful... I always schedule with Britt and she is absolutely amazing! Personable/friendly and efficient at her job! I highly recommend Britt to anyone who is new to getting a brazilian / bikini wax (or any wax to be honest). Went in yesterday for the first time at this location and did not have a pleasant experience. My waxer Bee was good and friendly, but my negative experience was more with the front desk. The receptionist was very pushy on the wax pass and their products. She also made me feel forced to schedule my follow up appointment, which I cancelled once I got in my car. At the time of payment I showed them a coupon I had emailed the day before for $10 off any service of $60+. The receptionist went to verify with another staff member if they could accept it. They denied it and said it's probably on select locations. I didn't want to argue and just paid for the one time service and the receptionist still pushed that follow up appointment on me. When I got in my car I read the fine print on that coupon and it didn't state anywhere about restrictions. I won't be back to this location and I'm actually trying to find a small business waxer because I've had better experiences with them. read more

ive been waxed at european wax center before at a different location, i came today for an appointment at 6 and the girl waxing me didnt really try to make me feel comfortable just a "how was your day" but i could tell she just wanted to get the wax finished as fast as possible and literally did my butt and brazillian in 4 long strips which im sure you could imagine how excruciating that was and my boyfriend also obviously checked the area when i got home and said there were alot of stray hairs left behind, usually when ive gotten waxed they get tweezed but she was surprised when i told her that other waxers have done that. i understand not all waxers are like this and maybe she was having a bad day, just bummed out because this was not a very comfortable waxing experience read more

Just want to start off saying, I was super excited that there was a EWC opening up in Corona. Staff was very friendly, it was super clean inside. However.. I went in for a brazilian and when I left I noticed the girl who did it lifted skin in a certain part that would be considered a sensitive area. Well .... Never thought I'd write a bad ewc review , however i was exploring the city & came across this location today. As an ex ewc NY employee i thought to myself " let me go check this location out ...." I walked in & 3 maybe gsa's were at the front , i was not greeted by either of them . They looked up an continued with whatever they were doing . As i approached the desk i asked " how long has this location been open " the girl with long lashes & dark hair replied " a few years " .....( there was also a red head / maybe burgundy & another curly head girl ) mind you i still wasn't welcomed , asked if i needed any assistance or if i had an appointment .. when someone walks into any place of business or residence , wherever ... they should be greeted . I planned on getting a full leg & wua as well as buying some products ( i always loved ewc products ) but first impressions are everything & the impression walking into this location was far from great . Whoever the manager / owner of this location needs to retrain their GSA's on proper front desk etiquette . Regardless of what they are doing , they need to always greet / welcome any one that enters the place of business . read more
