Horrible experience! I hired Allen Drewes in early July of this year to sell my family home. I had…read moreinitially considered his construction company, Old Towne Custom Builders, to remodel the house and after this experience very glad I dodged a bullet. I am using this account because Mr. Drewes has several company names. He seems to dabble in construction, remodeling, selling and now mortgage servicing. Almost immediately there was a lowball cash offer after hiring Mr. Drewes through Fox Hollow Realty. I rejected it and the agent sent me over 40 comps of homes in the area. Many were two story or duplexes or not in the subdivision, which clear did not match the composition of my family home. He tried to convince me this lowball offer should be considered and seemed to leave out comps that were relevant. His intentions were painfully obvious but he has a responsibility as a licensed professional not to manipulate comps in an effort to sell a home. There were only two showings during the short course of his representation, which didn't add up with previous experience. I reside out of town and went to the house. The first thing I noticed there was not a for sale sign in the yard. I then noticed a personal belonging of my deceased brother missing from the basement. I contacted the agent and asked him to meet me at the house so he could remove his lockbox and return the key. He agreed but the key he returned did not match what was provided by the locksmith when the locks were changed. I asked Mr. Drewes for a report of all persons entering the house and he refused to provide this to me. Unfortunately Mr. Drewes is part of the retaliation I experienced after my experience Mr. Stein and Re/Max All Pro in Bloomingdale.
