I'm a neighbor, and watched this Hotel and Cafe open, so of course I want to support and give 5Service is So here we go..., took me some time to visit, stopped by a few times during the summer and the coffee has my MIND BLOWN especially the Slushed Coffee; perfectly balanced, no extra calories. Just refreshing goodness. I can't get enough. The ambiance is quaint and cute, in out. You may also order/pickup at window. The SERVICE GIVES this establishment 3 stars. Customer Service goes a long way. When your staff is welcoming, makes for better business. If possible consider checking the attitude prior to your shift, it's really not that bad. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. $38 for small coffees, selected curbside pickup. Did not happen. Went in to get it, 5 coffees in a 4 coffee extremely cheap flimsy tray, no tape over the very large holes of the cups. The Coffees spilt everywhere. Staff watched & could care less. Extremely Poor customer service. Never purchasing again. Someone in this place should read this and actually implement changes. read more

I Used to be a regular. Gave them more business than I would like to admit. The ice they use in their drinks is not intended for human consumption. It says so from where they collect it in the hotel. I wish they would do better as a local business, but if you do a bit of research on the parent company, claudettes, they have a slew of controversy and are locally known to not appreciate locals, and prefer the business of outside city people. They have now attempted to rebrand to a different name, the name of their parent business to gain traction and have changed the whole look and aesthetic of formerly named greenhouse cafe. It does not work. I would not give them your business, especially locals. As i was a regular, i saw drastic price increases over the span of one year, some drinks going up nearly two dollars, and last time i got a small was either 9 or 10 dollars. It makes me sad knowing this business could do so much better but they just dont seem to care at all. read more

Cute coffee shop at the Rockaway Hotel. Had a regular latte and it was perfect! This is no easy feat. Please don't change a thing! Perfect spot to grab a coffee before heading to the beach. Good selection of hot and iced coffees and teas. They also have locally made popsicles and a few food items. Today, they had sour dough waffles, but I didn't try them. Such good coffee here! Ordered an iced vanilla oat latte and it was amazing! Safariah and Michael were such a delight to talk to and the overall experience was so great. Tried the yoghurt parfait and the overnight oats and they were so delicious! Definitely worth the visit even if you're not staying at the hotel attached. read more

So the place is such a cute cafe! Seems to have a cool menu! However staff was so rude ! I smiled excited to be there bc I love cafes and said "everything looks so good! Can you tell me what ___drink is?" To which the employee responds "don't have it". And I go oh ok! What about the ___. Got the same answer. So I'm confused bc lol he could still tell me what it's made of im just a person intrigued. I may not buy anything (I had a pre made meal In my hand lol and I had browsed with my mom verbally excited about the food). So then idk why I kept trying to have a convo w staff but I go "how long have you guys been here!" (Been a while since I've had time to come to this side of rockaway). And he goes "i don't know" very rude so I go "haha meee , oh sorry are u new! :)". Thinking he was being funny but this got him angrier ??? So he goes "idk anything ab this place I just work here". Like what??? Ok ?? So I giggle bc I've been there with jobs I've had , I wasn't judging him w that but idk why he was so rude ?. Then my mom and I joke "long day?" As we are paying.... And he goes "no I like my job despite what you're seeing. When people have good evergy they get it back". Like what bad energy did u perceive from us being hype about ur store and interested in what you're making all day.... We came from a walk on the beach bro calm af , idk if he's mentally I'll or struggling but so is everyone else, don't be a d*ck.
