Horrible customer service and horrible claw machines that can't pick up any plushies! The lightest squish mallow the size of a fist can't even be lifted. The claws are so fake and won't even grip. Not only that their toys don't even look right! All of it looks bootleg besides the one behinds the counter where it's impossible to win, SCAM DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Claw & Fun is wayyyyy better and easier to win and the customer service there actually help the kids win. Here they don't give a shit. Spent $100 and one 2 $.50 toys. This place is rigged and the tokens are so expensive. There was a game where you have to stop the wheel that has toys on clips on it and you have to align a plastic stick onto the clip, but I did align it and the clip was supposed to open but didn't! When we went to the front desk to ask if I could exchange one of my other plushies, they said that they couldn't do that and that they could only do it if the plushie was in the same game as the other. I was playing one of the claw games and the plushie slipped out of the claw right as it was about to come out. Then, there was one of the workers opening the claw machine and asking her friend which stuffy she wanted. She arranged the plushies just perfect so that it would be easy for her friend to get it. Then, as if it wasn't enough for the perfect arrangement, the worker told her friend exactly how to move the claw machine to get the stuffy. But, her friend flunked it anyway, so that also proves that the games there are rigged. read more

I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but none of the issues here have been addressed even weeks after the soft launch. The issues have gotten even worse, as they attempt to fake boost their google ratings by employing a free wheel spin if you give a 5 star review. If you go in, you have to look at how disappointed the majority of people, kids, parents and adults alike. Waste of money. My partner and I have been to all the other claw machine places in the city and this one stands out for mostly the wrong reasons. First off, the prices are predatory. At first glance, you can buy from the range of 10$, which gives you 14 tokens, to 200$ which gives you 550 tokens. That's almost double what the rate (1.4 --2.75 $/token) is if you spend the minimum. Other places don't do this, at most I've seen it (1.0-1.35). This encourages you to spend as much as possible in one go. Additionally, the price to play can range up to 5 coins per play for machines containing larger/more popular prizes. This would be fine if there wasn't such inconsistencies with the machine payout. I get it, claw machines need to pay out for y'all to make money, but the with the variety in the machines at the time, the payout strength is not enough to even pick up some of the prizes, and the payout frequency is not enough given the price per try. I tried 6 times on a Squirtle machine and it was a good grab every time, and the machine wasn't even due to pay out. 30 tokens (minimum 20$) for a prize that costs them probably 2$ off their supplier. The prizes on the shelf were also poorly priced. I saw prizes worth 40 plushies in trade it value, and although this is the standard for that size for other claw places, with the frequency of wins, you would need to spend upward 300 dollars per large prize, whereas you could win that for 50-60 dollars at Claw Mania. All for a prize that costs them 20$ from their supplier. The space itself is the best among the other claw places though. The aesthetic, the size, and the decorations are well thought out. The staff was nice too, they attempted to rearrange plushies on machines that were difficult, but it barely helps and I could see the awkward/embarrassed looks on their faces knowing the payouts are terrible. 100$ spent, 11 plushies won. For reference at a competitor we frequently win 60+ plushies at the same amount spent. read more

Claw city is one of the best claw machine arcades in Houston, they are kind, have tons of variety, and the claws actually catch! Although pricy it comes with the territory so it's understandable. The things I dislike is the quality of the plushies and the price per attempt. $50 can be gone in less then 15min which is unfortunate read more

Go to claw and fun around the corner instead! We spend 10 minutes there and $20 and came out with 5 better quality prices. My husband and I are avid claw machine players since we both spent time in japan so we were very excited to come here since it's a bigger location, but we were extremely disappointed. I spent $20 and didn't win a single thing. I love the smaller machines but each play was 2 credits and most of the items were too big for the claw to gasp. Half of my attempts had zero grip to them. My husband is alot bette than me and came out with 5 prizes but spend 140 coins. Most of the machines appeared to not have any type of grip to them making it impossible to want to keep playing. We've been to claw mania in bellaire where their quality of the prizes between them and this location are almost the same, making claw mania more worth it since the machines had better grip to them. we also both came out with 7 prizes each, many won on the first try. If this place had better quality prizes, the amount of coins per play would also seem worth it. If one were to play enough to win the actual worthwhile prizes you could trade the alliexpress/temu prizes for then you'd have to spend HUNDREDS on several occasions. This location seemed just shy of scam, the only appeal is that it's a bigger location but there also isn't a huge variety in prizes. I really wanted to warn the people in line to buy tokens. Judging by the older reviews, their quality and variety in prices has tremendously decreased. We will not be returning. read more

I spoke to the people that work there and they stated the owners have the machines rigged to drop once the claw goes up. That's a damn shame and I will never step back in the place agai. read more
