Came here for the first time to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Had a party of about 20, mostly adults but also kids 5+. This place is very new and clean, and there is something for everyone. From arcades to actual sports game, including batting cages, pitching cage, mini bowling. We all had a great time. They were very accommodating for our larger party. Although we had 2 hours to play, it went by very quickly. You can definitely describe this place as an adult arcade. Highly recommend this spot. read more

A friend recommended checking out Taroko Sports and I'm glad we found time to go! Helpful workers; can buy a new game card at a kiosk or front desk. Kiosk only takes exact change if paying cash. Make sure to get a wristband after signing a digital waiver. Food and drinks are available to order here. Enjoyed the batting cages with various pitching speeds! There was an area to shoot hoops and throw darts. I need to work on my air hockey skills :( Also didn't have time to play at the bowling alley. Probably user error, but some of the machines were confusing when scanning the card. 2 friends scanned their card to do a dance game; it registered as 2 credits but only one stage was active instead of being able to compete against each other on the stages. Fun Place to have family fun day, Daddy son date, mommy and me date, or even a high school hangout date. Return on the Grand Opening day!... which I was not aware of the first 50 guest revive $25 game cards. Which was a beautiful surprise. I showed up early with my son to gift him a reward for working hard at school all week. My high schooler had a really great time. Got to meet the owner and received a cool gift bag with a souvenir baseball tee. He's favorite was the taller basketball goals, darts which he discovered how to add his name on the screen. I wish I knew how to do so. We also was excited to get our Character drawings complete by the beauty name Rose. We enjoyed sweet treats of cotton candy and ice cream. I had a great night with my friend during the Super Bowl. It was empty due to the event so it gave us the chance to try out most of their games, miniature bowling, and the batting cages without the wait, while also watching the game on multiple TVs. There was a promotion which was $21 for 2 hours of all the activities there. The place was very spacious and had tables everywhere if you needed to sit down and eat some snacks or food. The staff was helpful and explained how our cards worked and assisted us when our card was not working on a machine. Great place for the price I do think if the place was a little bigger and they put more arcade machines it be great because this place is basically darts and baseball batting. I like how the cages have a variety of speed for you and at night there's an all you can play. Overall I think it's a nice place but it's pretty heavily made for people who likes or wants to hit a baseball, throw a baseball, or darts. The amount of arcade game are lacking and it's all mainly racing base game. But I will still be back because you rarely find a place to hit some baseball!!! read more

Located in a plaza with plenty of parking available. Taroko has a lot to offer such as batting cages, pitching game, miniature bowling, electronic darts, and a variety of arcade games. There's a kiosk at the front where you can get your card to load credits in order to play what they have to offer. They also have food and drinks for purchase. The place is clean and the staff has been friendly. It's a great place to hang out with friends. My friends and I always have a great time. Highly recommend trying this place out. read more

The staff at the front was really welcoming and explained how the cards worked before we bought the credits we wanted at the kiosk. Everything seemed clean and well maintained, and parking was easy. I thought the building seemed accessible - there was also a vertical wheelchair lift inside to get to the baseball batting area which is elevated. There were plenty of chairs and tables to chill at when taking a break too. I do wish there were more hand sanitizers throughout the area, especially since the one close to the batting cage was out of sanitizer. Went to Taroko Sports with a friend. First time doing batting cages baseball and softball. Offer different speed options (slow, 60MPH thru 80 MPH) gives about 15 balls. Enjoyed it need more practice. Also we did a competition electronic darts, they have different games to choose from, played the fishing, measures the fish you catch smallest from crab to a shark. Some other games i did was bowling, table hockey, dancing, and punching bag. There's more games didnt get a chance to play next time. The service was excellent, helpful. Try margherita pizza with topo chico strawberry-guava recommended it. Love that it has photo background you can take a picture with helmet and baseball bat. We bought a card with 60 credits ($25 dollars), we had such a great time and spent a whole hour there while only consumed half of my credits. read more

We had a great take at Taroko! It was a great When we walked in, we bought an arcade card from the kiosk. All activities were paid by that arcade card, other than the food and drinks. We really enjoyed all of the racing games because the seats moved, and there was a cool air hockey table that that was different than your average one. There was a row of batting cages that had different speeds from 50 mph till I think about 80 mph, but I'm not sure. There were two other batting cages that were simulations of what kind of base hit it would be. There were also four mini bowling lanes. We didn't get a chance to try the food and drinks, but they were many options available. We would highly recommend going here for a date night or with some family. There are plenty of tables to use and even for a party! read more

The value here is solid. I split $125 among a group of five and still had $50 left at the end. Food is run-of-the-mill, but pricing is good. My favorite attraction was the baseball station, where pitches are thrown from the opposite wall rather than from the ground. It feels more realistic and has beginner-friendly speeds starting around 40-50 mph. There's one "slow" section as well, which isn't clearly defined. I believe the fastest goes up to 80 mph, and you can adjust the height as well. The graphic simulation version of batting didn't do much for me. It doesn't seem to react to your swing and just plays random animations. The pitching section was a bit confusing too. No real game mode options or instructions, so you're left figuring it out on your own. Punching bag gives you two tries per credit. It seems "easier" to score higher on this one versus other ones I've tried. The motorcycle ride is one of the more immersive experiences. If you try the rougher maps, the seat moves along with the terrain and makes it feel much more real. The urban routes are flatter and less exciting by comparison. Darts are fun, with several game modes to choose from, though the plastic tips break pretty easily. Spacing between players is a little tight, which is probably why they use soft-tip darts to begin with. Mini bowling was enjoyable, though it felt like they had enough room to fit in full-length lanes. There's a huge empty space in the middle of the store. Air hockey is standard. They have side guards to keep the puck from flying out, though they do get in the way of some less conventional moves. Basketball fans will appreciate the variety. There's a shorter hoop that's great for kids and a few taller machines if you want more of a challenge. Their shooting games are mostly the rapid-fire type where you're just holding the trigger nonstop. Personally, I prefer more control-based shooting games like the hunting ones. Food options are mostly fried carbs and pizza. The tater tots took longer than expected and, despite looking dark, came out soggy. They also needed more seasoning. I would've liked the option to add salt or various sauces on the side, besides ketchup. Drinks are all fountain-style. Nothing homemade. They appear to accommodate parties, with a larger seating area toward the back. I also noticed employees cleaning the machines regularly, which was good to see. I just wish they had more hand sanitizer stations so you wouldn't have to keep walking back to the front. Parking shouldn't be an issue, even for large parties. Taroko Sports is located at the endcap of a large shopping center building. Overall, I'll be back. Great value and a decent mix of attractions. A few things could be tightened up, but for a local spot, it's definitely worth a visit. read more

Love this place! While they don't have the biggest selection of games, the ones they do have are super fun and well thought out. There's a basketball game that you can keep playing as long as you keep hitting the target score, super addictive! The batting cages are awesome too, with speed options ranging from slow pitch to 80MPH. I usually stick with Topo Chicos for drinks, so I haven't tried the food yet, but everything I've seen being served looks tasty. It's also a plus that they allow outside food, which makes it a great spot for parties or gatherings. Great vibe, fun activities, and chill setup.
