I bought one of their lavender orange jam which I plan to use when I make scones. I absolutely love seeing the collection of arts, skincare, and culinary lavender base products. I am certainly going to visit this place again. It was great speaking with the owners. They offer great advice on baking scones and were super friendly.

Kid is able to perform and finish good work from very first project. 5. Kid is proud for her/himself, parents too. I am not really an art person, so I am not able to judge how exactly the technique kid obtains or how much they improve precisely, but I feel it worth it. Nathalie and Urii gave a us brief history of glass mosaics and were so helpful while we created our pieces. They are experts with over 25 years of education, teaching, and passing it on to everyone. They really enjoy what they do as they are patient, provide encouragement and help you even if you're not art inclined! They had a vast array of glass tiles in every color under the rainbow imaginable! It was so much fun and gave us all a whole new appreciation of mosaic artisanry! This is a local business that offers classes in resin and glass. There are so many different kinds…read moreof classes - in addition to the usual fused glass, slumped flower / coral bowls, stained glass, etc. they also do flamework and of course resin classes which I haven't seen elsewhere. Watch for seasonal classes (heart paperweight! turkey ornament!). Unlike the other suburban glass studio I've taken classes at, they also have a gift shop, so you can buy something instead of having to take a class if that's your jam. You could also actually buy the piece used to advertise a class. Pieces are affordable and there's a wide variety (cute little succulent gardens, stained glass, glass ornaments, resin keychains, etc.). Class prices are similar or a little less than what I've seen elsewhere, and if you become a member they're cheaper. Yes, they do open studio. I took a resin class, which was easy and fun; the teacher was patient and helpful. Class sizes are small (I actually got a solo class as a group canceled at the last minute). The owner was there, who was happy to show me cool projects related to the class I took, as well as to offer information about other classes they do. Signage is pretty good; you have to drive down a driveway to get to the businesses on the ground floor - look for the sign. Lots of parking.

What a wonderful afternoon at DIT!!…read more During COVID, call/email ahead for a private appointment and send in images before you arrive. We had two adults and three kids (8, 9 and 12). Adrian had everything setup and even let the kids pick what music to listen to on Alexa (Hamilton!) The studio is cozy and well-stocked with supplies. Adrian is super talented and also a patient, fun, accommodating, creative and encouraging guide to crafting. He walked us through the almost-two-hour process of making our own, unique wooden signs-- from sanding, staining, pressing patterns, choosing colors and painting. We had a great time and came away with beautiful art. And for the very, very reasonable cost, I'm surprised there are any openings this winter. Run to DIT!!
