He explained everything he was going to do and how it benefited my son and what the future classes would entail based on how he progresses. he was very professional and very attentive to my childs needs and for that i would say british swim school is a better learning program for your child, very rare you get a grown adult teaching lessons so they have the experience and knowledge over the younger crowd of instructors.

So…read morebuggy, so if you see two spots left for a time, and you book one child, the slot disappears from options. If you cancel your booking, BOTH open slots show up again. Same thing even if there are 3 slots opens. Their team is unhelpful with bookings, rude, and there is no refund policy. So if you paid in advance thinking you were going to get makeups, think again - most likely, you won't have slots opening up for you to book your makeups at a time that works for you. Especially not if you're stuck with having to book for two kids like me.

She used to be afraid of the bathtub and hated taking baths. Now, she loves splashing in the tub! Taking swim lessons at British Swim School eased her anxiety about the water. We belong to our local pool and she LOVES practicing her swim skills. Everywhere we go, everyone is amazed at how much she loves the water. Our instructors are super nice as well. When a white woman came back to complain he gave them the passes but said he didn't know about the 20 but it was clearly sitting on the counter. Keep kids involved and interested all through the class. The span of class time (30 mins) just go in a blink of an eye. Very fun way of teaching kids. We coach with Coach Micheal and he's awesome. The best coach we could ask for. He super fun and teaches the kids super fast. The grading is done almost every week. Keeps the record updated and answers a lot of questions parents might have.

It was one swim instructor to about 3 children, and one by one she dealt with them, talking to them, while the others watched. He received googles during his time in the water, and overall looked like he was having a good experience. My 3 year old daughter on the other hand... was put in a lane that had two swim instructors, and four toddlers. Upon having both my children enter the water, I let the instructors know this was their very first time. My daughter's instructor asked me if it would be okay to dunk her which I appreciated, and I said if she is comfortable. That was all the positives for my daughter's experience. The two instructors talked to themselves the ENTIRE time. I do have all of this on video. I did not see my daughter receive any instruction. My daughter is very smart, and very brave, she watched what the other children were doing and copied them, but absolutely no instruction was given to her. Mind you, I'm sitting right in the front watching the whole thing!! You would think they would try just a smidge harder. Again, all of this is on video. When it came down to the dunking, my daughter was asked if she was okay going under, she said no. The instructor proceeded to dump water on her head, no explanation, no warning. My daughter was very confused, but she remained calm and kept wiping the water out her eyes. I'm so disappointed. Additionally, the other 5/6 swim instructors that did not have a class were talking so loudly amongst themselves, it was a very uncomfortable environment. Such a shame. I give an additional star only because my son's instructor was doing what she was supposed to do.

I'm furious right now because I paid $20 to do some laps but there are multiple families with kids. There's no room in the pool. If are interested in coming here to do laps please look elsewhere. It's not cheap to use the pool and they don't limit how many people use it during open swim. If you have young kids and don't mind sharing the pool with multiple other families then it's perfect. If you want to use the pool for doing laps, exercise, or rehabilitation DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. If this place was smart they'd allot more time for people who want to use the pool to swim laps. I'm more than happy to spend $20 to do laps for 30-40 minutes but I refuse to pay that while the pool is jammed with little kids and families. In addition, i anticipate reporting them to the FTC and the BBB. As the gal above me wrote - don't waste your time with them. I initiated contact three weeks before my scheduled training as a serious family emergency came up and I requested a refund for the tuition I had paid. This was October of 2021. Then until now, have been a lot of follow up email attempts to no avail, phone attempts where it is difficult to get ahold of anyone, with both Norton and one particular employee probably assigned these responsibilities. I paid for my remaining tuition as soon as I was notified I was awarded a partial scholarship. This was a big mistake, as once you do, they send over "material" (a ten page document and the pdf version of a textbook) via email. Thus, because I was emailed these "materials", (and not the actual physical version since they were not in stock apparently) 650 dollars was non refundable, in addition to the standard 250 non refundable fee. Of the 1600 I paid, I'm STILL waiting to get the 950 back. Should I reconsider taking my certification down the line, it will DEFINITELY not be with them. They "offered" full value of what I paid should I decide to attend a future training, but I absolutely refuse and at this point, accept that loss of 650 so I can just move on (if they ever refund my money).

The company as of December has not returned the $2500 and have stated if and when they do that they will not be refunding any books in coursework $625. these books never came because there were on "product backorder" on backorder. Sadly the school claims due to the pandemic . We registered with ACOLS with no problems, no issues and no backorders. Shame on you Norton for Poor school, poor management. and terrible customer service!
